The Origins of Demon Kings has awakened
To complete the quest, the true Demon King must be slain no matter the cost. Restriction on the death of the Knight has been lifted. Restriction on killing the 'Demon King' has been lifted.
The 'Princess Demon King' awakened.
The 'Demon King Princess' lied there on the ground unconsciousness due to the effects of the 'Holy Sword'.
And the 'Knight' that finally revealed all his cards pointed his sword at the being that he was 'suppose' to protect.
“The Order of Knights shall Slay the Origin of Demon Kings. The 'Demon King' that creates other 'Demon Kings' as the 'Princess'! The Curse of the 'Princess Demon King' will end now. Your tale shall never harm another being ever again!” the Knight shouted grasping swords and throwing them at the 'Princess Demon Lord'.
Several of the swords were blocked by the black mud that came from the body of the 'Princess' as if the liquid was alive.
“This is....” Eden looked at the black mud recognising that it was similar to something that he had experience before. It was quite the unpleasant experience so he rather not remember it but he still knew that the black mud was dangerous.
“DIE DIE DIE DISAPPEAR TRAITOR TO THE LEGEND!!!” the 'Princess' shouted at the 'Knight'.
The black mud continued to spread all across the room at an alarming rate. Seeing this Eden said quickly, “Alexandra! Get the brats out of here now!”
Alexandra also seeing that the current situation was getting extremely bad quickly grabbed the group and ran....no dragged them out of the castle as fast as she could without killing them leaving White, Eden and the 'Knight' to face the 'Princess'.
White looked at the 'Princess' with disgust since it used 'his colour' to disguise herself as something pure when she was in fact impure in all ways.
“What exactly is that disgusting thing?” asked White to Eden and the 'Knight'.
“Hmm....who knows....though I recognise this power from a long time ago” replied Eden.
“A creature that must be kill no matter what” replied the 'Knight'.
White sighed since it seems one person had no idea what it was while the other was too in rage for him to answer properly. However seeing that this black mud already surrounded them and there was no escape now, White used his Dragon power to increase his abilities in this form.
[Dragon Awakening] said White causing him to part way transform back into Dragon Form.
Eden looked at White and said, “Dragon Transformation” doing the same as well.
After a few seconds, it seems that the 'Princess' finally stabilised with the black mud gushing back into her with not one bit left out. Of course this included the power that the 'Princess' inflected the 'Demon King' with. The Demon King was left bare on the ground with only the armour on and nothing else.
“....”
“Get ready...she is finally at full power” said the 'Knight'.
“Might I ask what I should call you know since you are definitely not a knight in any respect” asked Eden.
“This is not the time!” retorted the 'Knight' wanting to fully focus on killing the 'Princess'....no it's better to call her the Demon King now.
“Answer the quest” said Eden with a firm voice that made the 'Knight' fill terror from his own 'ally' right now.
Soon enough the 'Knight' sighed and said, “Just call me 'Knight' since things will be less confusing that way. Also...” Knight pointed at the 'Demon King' on the ground, “should be referred as the princess from now on as well.”
“Got it”
White shook his head and asked, “Was this actually necessary to ask Eden?”
“Of course not. Just giving time for her to power up” replied Eden a bit bored.
“Huh?” [Huh?]
Both the Knight and White were a bit confused on the reasoning. However it was very clear in the next moment.
“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” The density of the black aura around the Demon King increased several times and her eyes went completely black as well.
“Damn!”
[This is bad!]
Both Knight and White felt that the situation was turning to the bad quickly. Even though both of them were powerful and one of them was a Dragon King; fighting against a Demon King was always difficult since they had a number of skills that were difficult to deal with.
For example...
“Let the light fall and the darkness rise...Dark Rule!” chanted the Demon King.
This was a spell that was based off a certain necromancer's own spell that increased the power of undead under their command. However this was only based on it and as a result, it's effects were a bit worse than usual.
From the black aura spawned two creatures that formed into human form and had the appearance of a 'Demon Knight and a Holy Knight'. The Demon Knight had the same appearance as the Demon King...well the one that was made and the Holy Knight had the appearance similar to the Knight. Covered in black aura and body made of that black mud, they were golems but had their power increased by 3 times than the norm due to the spell.
“Space Rip!!!” The Knight seeing this, immediately spun into action and went to attack the Demon King with his sword cutting through even space.
BANG!
However the two other Knights blocked the attack with their swords and repelled Knight quite easily.
“Fireball, Flame Strike, Fire Tower” said Eden casually at the enemies.
Several fireballs, fire formed into arrows and flames coming up from the ground and walls appeared and went to them at once with every single attack of a high level!
Bang Bang Bang...!
“Tch” muttered Eden seeing that these attacks had no effect on them.
Instead of their pure black look, they were now pure white instead. It was a sudden change that shouldn't be possible but was possible since the Demon King has a dual affinity with both light and dark.
[Lightning Ball!] shouted White throwing a ball of condensed lightning at the golem knights that were made.
Bang!
The Holy Knight took the hit and wasn't even damage one bit. Seeing this, the Knight ran across the wall and leaped through the air and cut down at the Holy Knight moments later.
Clang!
The attack was blocked perfectly and the Knight was repelled away with a counter attack. Knight landed on his feet and slid back a bit to reduce damage to his legs. Bits of his armour cracked a bit more where he was hit as well.
“So the white form can negate magical attack while the black form can negate physical attacks” said Knight.
Eden nodded and added in, “Since there's two of them plus another Demon King, this is way more difficult than fighting them alone. But....”
Eden moved in quickly and went to attack the Demon Knight. Seeing that Eden was most likely going to use magic, the Demon Knight shifted to it's white form to block the magical attack. But Eden was more than a simple person who could use magic.
“Claw Rip!”
Eden pierced through the arm of the Demon Knight easily seeing that it did not expect a physical attack from Eden. With a kick, he sent the Demon Knight flying to the Holy Knight on the other side of the room.
Bang.
The Demon Knight landed on the Holy Knight who took a hit from that attack since it was focusing on attacking Knight and White at the same time. Eden looked worryingly at the Demon King since it didn't do anything for a while now. As such Eden took a peek at her.
The Demon King was gathering more and more power; most likely for one final attack that would be certain to wipe them out.
“Lightning Strike!” seeing this, Eden could not help but to attack the Demon King. As such, the two 'Knights' immediately moved in to block the attack and counter at Eden at a frightening speed.
Bang Bang!
You took 62 525 damage
“Ah!”
Eden coughed up some blood from the sudden damage. He did not expect an attack to come from that direction since those two golems were in the middle of a battle with White and Knight. However the damage recovered almost instantly thanks to his various passive skills that regenerated mana and healed wounds.
“Bastard...!” Seeing that he was attacked like that all of a sudden, Eden grabbed the head of one of the golems which turned black immediately when Eden touched it and slammed it to the ground in a single burst.
BANG!
Cracks appeared on the ground that didn't even have a scratch on it when the group fought the basilisks and when the Knight fought the 'Demon King'.
'This is....' thought Eden seeing this reaction. He wanted to test out a small theory just now.
“Pressure Strike!” shouted Eden increasing the power in his arm several fold like it was under the effects of a gravity spell.
Force from strike will triple in power
BANG!
Another set of large cracks appeared on the ground the moment Eden did this and the head of the golem despite being a creature that was immune to physical damage was made into paste.
“Pew~” Eden let out a relieved breath since he managed to vent out some stress a bit more just then.
The other knight that broke off from White and Knight charged at Eden since he was considered a more dangerous foe that needed to be taken care of. Seeing this Eden simply sighed since he figured out how these golems worked and was now bored of them.
“Full Counter”
Eden slashed the other Knight into two destroying it using his arm that was now as strong as a blade or even stronger.
“Basically...those golems have the power to match any attacks. All you have to do is overwhelm such a system with force since technique and speed won't do anything to them” explained Eden walking to the others.
Hearing this the Demon King that was not active for a while let out a laugh since this was the first time anyone figured out the 'trick' and perfectly demonstrate it with ease.
“To think I would meet such an interesting creature so soon after I awakened!” the Demon King had looked down on the three that opposed her so far even though all three of them didn't even use their full power yet. She did not know that besides the Knight, there were two other creatures she should not face.
And both of them were Dragon Kings. Creatures that ruled over the proud Dragons that would not accept anything that were weaker than them or even stronger than them to a certain degree. Perhaps even Gods would not be able to bend their will.
[Eden this bitch is getting annoying isn't she] said White in a 180 degree in his 'normal' personality. He was quite angry that this kind of battle was happening in his territory to begin with.
“Yep I agree, let's kill her” replied Eden.
But the Knight was one step faster than them. Already were there several tens of swords surrounding the Knight as he leaped into the air and slashed at the Demon King. A strange light came out of his blades as he attacked.
“Take this!”
BANG!
“Pitiful!” said the Demon King using her aura to block the attacks easily. That level of power was considerably low for the Demon King. In her mind, she crossed out the Knight as threatening.
Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash!
After several slashes, the swords in the Knight's hand broke into piece in which he stopped the attack and took two new swords and continued in his attack.
Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash!
The same thing happened again.
Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash!
And again.
Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash!
And again.
Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash Slash!
“Hey....why don't we support that Knight?” wondered Eden though he had no intentions of doing so. Rather than for pride, it was more like if things could be handled without him, he would not even lift a finger.
White shrugged and said, [He should be able to deal with something of this level]
“True but seeing her in the air smirking like that pisses me off. Hmm....I should help him this time only....Gravity Hell.”
Eden raised his hand and casted a certain spell that was once used against him. The pressure...no gravity around the Demon King increased several tens of times all of a sudden when the Knight was about to start another round in attacking which caused her body to be dragged down to the ground leaving a crater in the middle due to the heavy weight on it.
“Damn you!” the Demon King's expression distorted a bit seeing that Eden was attacking her....and it was actually working.
Eden sighed, “Seriously....I bet this one had an easy time since her aura is pretty strong...auras along a worthless in battle against foes that are at least on the same level as you.” Eden continued the spell for a while longer and waited for the Knight to start attacking again.
In that moment, when the Knight was about to cross the space where gravity was increased several tens of time, Eden released the spell.
“Dual Space Rip!”
The Knight accelerated and slashed twice at the Demon King.
“Aghhhhhhh!” The Demon King screamed in pain since the attack went through due to her aura decreasing in power. It looks like the Demon King only fought when victory was certain when her aura was at maximum power.
“Fool that defiles me.....DIE!” However this was not the end since the form of the Demon King changed.
[What the...] muttered White seeing this.
The generally human like Demon King abandoned that formed and turned into a monster that had 8 arms and 6 legs and looked like a mix of different species. She was now several times larger and had sharp claws and teeth as well.
Seeing this Eden could only say, “At least she looks more like a Demon King now....though pretty disgusting in appearance.”
This only further enraged the Demon King.
“How much more do you wish to insult me before I kill you all?!” The Demon King screamed in no longer a female voice. It was now more like the voice of a beast that could speak.
“This is the end Demon King!” shouted the Knight bravely charging straight in as always. However this was a big mistake.
BAAAANG!
All 8 arms slammed down at the Knight crushing him in one go. The Knight was OHKO just like that.
The 'Knight' has been killed
“....”
[....]
White and Eden stood there a bit speechless.
“That was....anti climactic...and a bit quick” muttered Eden seeing this.
[Yeah...] that was the only words White could put out since it was so sudden and it seemed like the Knight was on a victory roll over the Demon King.
Eden thought about it a bit and then said, “Now that I think about it, that Knight had trouble with that Demon King lying on the ground there....against the Origins of Demon Kings...yep, this was actually expected and he did quite well considering his level of strength...though that was only due to that Demon King taking it easy on him.”
White looked at the monster that no longer resembled anything he saw before and asked, [So...we have to deal with that now right?]
Eden looked confused at White's words.
“We? This is your territory and your mountains right? This is certainly your job”
[What?!] retorted White, [This is your quest so why should I do the work for you?!]
These two Dragon Kings started arguing on who was to do the grunt work all of a sudden. Naturally if they worked together, things would work out well but remember, both of them have been on bad terms for a long time now and working together all of a sudden is something impossible.
“Dark Arrows!” shouted the Demon King.
Arrows made of dark magic appeared and were shot at the two which using their part Dragon forms dodged easily. The Demon King continued to fire these Dark Arrows at the two like a slow machine gun. Much slower in rate of fire but fast enough that it was a pain.
“Mana Shield” said Eden casting some defences just in case.
Jumping around the place some more, Eden pointed his finger at the Demon King and said, “Ice Coffin.”
Bang!
Ice immediately appeared and crushed together with the Demon King in the centre. The ice was so compressed that it looked like a thin layer over the Demon King.
Break!
However a spell of this level was unable to seal the Demon King.
“This is going to be a pain....” muttered Eden who was really redundant to go full power right now.
[p=center]xXx[/p]
Boom Boom Bang Boom!
Those were the sounds that could be heard from outside the castle. Being one of the large sized castles and was similar to a palace in size, such 'minor' damage to the place would not completely destroy the place.
“What in the world is happening in there?” wondered Miriel hearing these sounds.
Shadow who had the 'hearing' skill though not trained that much answered her.
“Sounds like both sides are using powerful attacks and the result is those sounds we're hearing” he replied.
“But WHAT kind of attacks is what I'm wondering. They say that you can learn a lot from seeing a live battle between powerful people. I was hoping that we could get some tips from seeing this battle. Running away won't do anything to help us” said Miriel hearing the answer.
Alexandra laughed off Miriel's rude comment and said, “If you guys were there, you would all be instantly killed. That Demon King must be more powerful than it appeared since they're taking so long.”
Sain and the other nodded since they have seen Eden's power that literally could be considered higher than 'first-class' in terms of power, speed and variety. It was more like a cheat key than anything else.
“Now that I think about it....” Sain started to say, “How does Eden's magic work? I heard no chant nor does he use a staff to control the spells? Plus the casting is too fast as well....as well as the power from each of the spells” All of those points were true. No chant which results in insane cast times, no staff but can control spells effortlessly and the power that was off the charts
Hearing this, Miriel and Serena who were also magic users were interested in this as well. Shadow and Raven who could not use magic at all did not care that much but listened in. Lyndis who could be considered a magic user but is classified as a fire user really didn't care that much but still listened in since there was nothing else to do right now.
Alexandra scratched her chin seeing that there was some expectations for her to answer this. Usually it was impolite to tell of other people's abilities without their permission but it was really a lot harder than normal to explain how Eden works.
“Well....” Alexandra thought back on some explanations that Eden gave about his magic use, “I think Eden once said that as long as he had the mana; he could use any spell. There was something about the mana consumption being ridiculous the more complex the spell is. Basically in exchange of being literally a cheat character, Eden exclusively uses several times more mana than even a high consumption mage.”
“Think about it this way. A normal fireball would take around 10 mana to cast and fire. Eden needs 100 mana to do the same thing on the same level. That would mean a normal mage can use 10 fireballs and therefore deal 10 times more damage than Eden at that point. But if you increase the amount of mana to cast the fireball for Eden to 200 mana, it would have the power of 10 fireballs which is still bad. If you increase it to 300 mana, the fireball damage increases to the power of 50 fireballs at once and this difference gets larger and larger than more mana Eden pours into his spells. Early on this is an issue of mana but later on, Eden could literally spam as many spells as he wanted.”
“How does that work? Doesn't it defy the energy conversion theory?” asked Miriel. This really did not make sense for her as well.
“Umm...I think it's similar to winding a gear that takes a while to start up...” said Serena giving her impression of how it worked.
“So...it takes a while to start but gets really on after that? Doesn't that mean if Eden poured 1000 mana into a fireball, it would be powerful enough to explode a mountain into pieces?” wondered Miriel.
Alexandra hearing this could not help but laugh.
“Hahaha, Eden could really do that but he needs to use a more powerful spell. Think of his mana consumption and power behind his spells as a bell curve where the increase in power slows down to a halt after a certain point. If Eden wanted to explode a mountain with a fireball, he would need to make the spell more complex which makes the fireball into something that looks like a fireball but not a fireball and something more dangerous.”
Miriel nodded hearing this. Even though it still sounded like a cheat key in this game, it still had it's limits that sort of balance it out. She proceeded to her next question.
“How difficult was training for Eden in the past? Hearing that he used such a powerful thing, wouldn't the failure rate be extremely high?”
“Failure to use spells for Eden? Never happened” Alexandra crossed her arms to show that it was impossible for such a thing like that to happen.
“Huh?” Miriel was confused now.
With skills and spells, with low skill proficiencies like what they had right now in the beginner levels; it was not that uncommon for the skills or spells to fail sometimes though it never happened in a critical situation that would lead to someone's death.
“I have never seen Eden failed a spell...ever. No matter the situation, unless something directly disrupted his 'casting' and even then, Eden would still be able to cast the spell as long as it was at least half complete.”
“Isn't that....impossible?”
“Not at all since Eden also explained it simply as well when I acted those decades ago. Basically he just consumes a bit more mana than normal.”
“....”
Miriel and the others all thought that this kind of ability was also a cheat key as well. Being able to use all spells was one thing but to not ever fail in the casting of any spells was an even more of a cheat key combined with this first cheat key.
“Anyway enough of that unlucky idiot! Why haven't you asked about me?! You do know that I will not lose against him right?!” Alexandra complained shamelessly. While this lot had respect for Eden, there was a significantly less amount of respect for her for some reason.
“....”
The group stared in disbelief in their senior in every way acting like a child in front of them like this.
“Then...what can you do?” asked Shadow since it seems to be the question she wanted to hear.
Alexandra grinned and immediately said, “I am a person who is able to kill Eden.”
[p=center]xXx[/p]
Back at the castle, the battle was steadily becoming worse by the minute. The Knight was dead...though it was his fault for underestimating the Demon King, and that very same Demon King was growing rapidly as a monster.
Already did the number of arms increased by 2 and the body size increased by a considerable amount compared to the start of this 'form'. The contradicting nature of this Demon King, of light and dark immediately showed in it's form with strips of black and white making it look like a zebra If not for the fact that it was anything but zebra.
Along with now 10 arms that came out on random parts of it's body, it now also had 4 wings and the mouth area increased to the point that it could shallow several people with ease. In other words...it was a monster that no one wanted to face due to the sheer absurdness of it's appearance and powers.
“White! Attack to the right at the same time as me!” shouted Eden slowly being forced to use his full power more and more.
[Right!]
White in his pure white body and clothes instantly moved and surrounded his body with white lightning and attacked to the right. Meanwhile, Eden did something similar and covered his body in flames attacking from the left.
BANG! BANG!
Two exploding sounds echoed in the room which was more or less completely destroyed right now. It couldn't be helped since the Demon King was now 20 metres long and the height of 5 metres. It was only due to the fact that the Demon King transformed in such a way that prevented it from moving too much that only a part of the castle was destroyed so far.
The smoke cleared from the attack and the Demon King was unharmed once again.
“Shit! This is going to take forever” complained Eden seeing this happen once again. On the rare case where they were able to deal damage, the Demon King would heal immediately and the same level of damage would no longer affect it.
It could be said that the Demon King was slowly evolving it's body to be invincible.
“Fireball Barrage!” shouted Eden creating and throwing 20 fireballs that each had 4 times more power than normal fireballs at the Demon King.
“GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!”
The Demon King screamed as the fireballs burst into flames on her body and rolled over immediately putting out the flames.
“Damn, it lost her speech but seems to be smart enough to try to stop status defects” muttered Eden running around dodging narrowly the arms that went around rapidly to try and crush him.
White moved directly above the Demon King by expanding out his white wings and attacked from above using a hand stabbed filled with lightning.
[Haaaaa!]
White stabbing down poured more and more lightning in his attack to the point that it went through the seemingly invincible defence of the Demon King and made it pour blood from the wound area.
“GAGAGAGAGAAAAAAAAAA!”
The Demon King let out a strange laugh and healed the wound once again with it's 'hide' becoming stronger in the area where it was wounded.
“....” [....]
Both Eden and White stared at this sight once again. They wanted to see any kind of weakness of this kind of power. In terms of abilities and use, this kind of skill would be considered one of the rarest and a cheat ability without limit. But all powerful things comes with a cost if it is like that. Similar to Eden's own high mana consumption with magic, there must be a weakness with this kind of ever growing defence.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
If not, then this Demon King would be too strong even without considering the 'curse' that would originally affected them to cause the Demon King to grow stronger. If this was the case then you would need a move that killed the Demon King in one shot....though there was a possibility that 'Knight' had a move exclusively to kill Demon Kings who were these cheat like creatures.
But he was dead now...though honestly, Eden could just revive him like that.
However doing so had many many risks and requirements. The first was the mana costs, 300K mana was needed which was a tall sum that only a small few managed to get to. The second was that the revived person would be 'useless' for a few hours so doing so in battle would make things worse. The third and worse thing was that you would be a number of debuffs from several Gods that didn't like you reviving the dead and included sealed regeneration, stats reductions, skills being sealed or made weaker and so on.
Frankly it was not worth reviving people who are dead in this game. In fact the only times he would even consider doing so was in his 'Vortex World' where the rules of Gods did not apply there no matter how pissed they were when Eden made it.
But right now seeing the Demon King in that kind of state where it was growing ever stronger as time passed on rapidly, Eden could not afford to take any chances anymore. He would need to get more serious now to the point that he would most likely destroy this white castle.
“Dragonic Release!” shouted Eden powering up instantly. The aura around Eden from his 'battle aura' also increased several times as well.
Bang Bang Bang!
In an instant, using his dragon claws, Eden ripped out chunks of the Demon King like that.
“GAAAAAAAAAAR!!!”
Naturally coming with this, the Demon King screamed in pain as well due to this sudden attack that came out of nowhere. Seeing that Eden was now a threat even with it's ever growing defences, the Demon King stretched out its 10 arms like firing rockets at Eden one after the other.
Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!
10 attack came from the Demon King like that. White took the chance seeing that the Demon King was distracted by Eden right now.
[Lightning Strike!!!] White moved in close to the Demon King and slammed his fist into it's body unleashing a full power lightning attack that instantly spread to the rest of the Demon King's body.
“GAR?!”
The Demon King though injured could not let out a loud and long scream since the lightning stopped it's mouth from functioning. Then it noticed that it could not move anymore as well and then....felt fear.
“Finally....this poor game can finally end here” said Eden bored since a while ago since the Demon King only relied on it's defence to fight.
White appeared next to Eden as well and added in, [There isn't much to say about this thing's strength. A typical piece of trash that got lucky so far]
Hearing these words that literally considered it as trash...no lower than trash; the Demon King was more enraged then ever before.
“GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!”
The Demon King breaking through the paralyse effects of the lightning let out it's black aura to the max more and more that it's body was being damaged and healed rapidly by it.
“This is...”
Eden was the first between the two to notice that something was wrong here. The pure black aura....had bits of white aura in there?
“This is a dual affinity aura?” wondered Eden since he never seen one at all. When an aura had multiple colours, it was usually due to one aura have multiple colours and nothing more. Here, two auras, black and white were being forced into one.
Booooooooooooooooooom!!!
The impure mix of auras exploded with the Demon King.
“Ahh.....yes, this form....yes I finally made it now....” a soft female voice was heard where the Demon King was.
From where the monster like Demon King was, a young woman with black and white hair appeared clothed by nothing but a piece of cloth.
“Take a good look....since this will be the last thing you all will see” the Demon King now back in a humanoid form grinned arrogantly as if victory was certain.
Let's put this in perspectives. The Knight was about level 600 while the 'Demon King' that's still on the ground unconscious was level 700 which was why the Knight could not kill the 'Demon King' and lost to it in the end. Now this Demon King was a step higher and was level 800 to start with and now with two transformations later was most like around level 900 which was enough to slay most creatures and even threaten the lives of Gods.
But....it's opponents were two Dragon Kings whom achieve dominants over all other Dragons. Creatures that could not simply be measured in levels.
“White...this person is getting too cocky. Turn to Dragon form and one shot this thing” ordered Eden immediately.
White frowned and asked, [Why can't you do it?]
“Because I will most likely blow everything up along with you when I try...” replied Eden though a bit sad that even now, he could not 'hold back' on his power at all after a certain point. He had always in the end against powerful foes, fought at full power breaking through his limit many times.
Seeing Eden's somewhat sad expression, White finally said, [Fine...] obeying Eden 'this once'.
White shifted his form and transformed into a 10 metre long Dragon that could still fit in this room since it was quite large. Seeing that White was in fact a dragon...a small dragon; the Demon King's confidence rose even more.
“Such a small dragon...facing me is a death wish small fry” she giggled as if she knew her victory was unquestionable even now.
Pissed off, White immediately smashed through the ceiling and soared straight in the air and turned away from the castle hovering to gain power to one shot this cocky bitch.
[Burst Stream!]
White's Dragon body was completely covered in a pure white aura with added white lightning as well which increased his power and speed even more. Moving like a beam of light, White easily pierced through the castle wall where Eden and the Demon King was and hit the Demon King without it knowing.
BANG!
A large chunk of her flesh gone, the Demon King could only stare in disbelief.
BANG!
Another chunk of her disappeared as well.
BANG!
Once again the same thing happened. The Demon King covered her body thickly with her aura now but the attacks still damaged her rapidly.
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!
“Imp....Impossible! I AM THE DEMON KING THAT DEFIED THE GODS THEMSELVES!!!” she shouted as if this was not what it was suppose to happen.
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!
The barrage of attacks from White did not even leave time to even counter attack or defend. Seeing this kind of thing, Eden naturally and casually poured salt on the Demon King's wounds.
“A mere Demon King that had only did a little bit to defy the Gods and hid away for so long thinks she can compared to us? Both of us are Dragon Kings....creatures that even Gods will not mess with in a frontal battle. The difference in power in clear; Demons who merely hide from the power of Gods and Dragon who bravely face the power of Gods directly with their bodies and wills. Who do you think will win? Why do you think Dragons are considered one of the strongest creatures in existence and Demons are not? Disappear small fry.”
The Demon King's face twitched. It had messed with the wrong people for the last time. Even if the Gods somehow forgave her and protected her at this moment, it would all be useless.
“YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!”
The Demon King could only do a desperate final attack on Eden whom she only could attack right now.
BANG!
The moment she took a step to Eden, her body completely disappeared without a trace by White's attack.

Several windows appeared in front of Sain and the other five. It was a message that the quest that was beyond their abilities was completed. But what caught their eyes was not exactly that the quest was completed but the rewards that suddenly showed up.
“...”
It was quite the sight to see six people with their jaws dropped. Because of this sight, Alexandra had a hearty laugh and then said seeing the same windows appeared in front of her, “Only a small amount of fame and stat increase...below average if you ask me.”
'This is below average?!'
The group could not help be retort in their hearts. The amount of gain they got in this quest was still enough for a high levelled player to feel satisfied. It was not common for someone to gain this amount of experience, fame and increased stats from a quest even if it is a B+ ranked guild quest. Plus the most important thing was the +10 to all stats bonus as well. This was literally more important than mere levels since which 5 level ups increases stats by 25, this 10+ bonus to all stats easily increased it by 100 or more depending on how many stats you got. Plus this bonus stats would not disappear like with stats from levels so easily.
The group quickly allocated their stats from the 5 level ups they gained from this quest.
Their status windows more or less looked like this now.

There was really a large change with the level ups and +10 stat bonus. Health and mana increased quite a bit due to this with health increasing by 300 overall for everyone and mana increasing around 100 more as well.
Plus now due to their builds, their stats were becoming more and more clear on what direction they would take. Raven's health increased some more, Shadow's speed increased and so on. They were slowly carving their own paths with their status windows here. Each and every one of them had a particular stat or stats that was a tier higher than the rest with the exception of Sain who was an all rounder in the group.
No weaknesses but no true strength at all. It was a path harder than all others in this kind of game for Sain who saw the others who could focus on a single goal unlike him who had to spread out his skills and talents in all directions.
Sain sighed seeing this since at this rate...no perhaps it had already happened...that he was being a burden to the others. His mastery in his skills and spells were on the same level as the others and without the stat advantage, his attacks were weaker than the others as well.
“Anyway where IS Eden?” complained Alexandra, “I rather not stick around in this wasteland and would like to eat some good food from the city soon....”
'Why are you thinking of food all of a sudden?' wondered Sain hearing Alexandra.
Hit~
“Why are you thinking of food all of a sudden” said a person completely in sync with Sain right now. This person who could hit Alexandra was naturally Eden.
On his shoulder was the Knight that they did the quest with though he was not moving....on his other shoulder was the Demon King that was suppose to be dead but unconscious.
“What...happened?” wondered Sain seeing this.
Sain looked closer at the Knight and it seemed like he was crushed by something and was no moving at all like he was....
“Dead?” asked Sain.
Eden gave a wry smile and said, “Yep, got crushed under a giant hand....long story and I rather revive him then explain it all at once.”
Before Sain or the others could question anymore, a blue light surrounded them all including that boy with white hair that Sain didn't recognise at all.
“Teleport!”
[p=center]xXx[/p]
The next moment, they were in the guild building back at Witchelm city where they started off 3 months ago on this journey. Sain shook his head seeing such an impossible thing happen so casually.
“I can't be used to this...” muttered Sain following Eden and the others into the hatch located under the stairs which led to another world.
In the pure white world where not even the laws of the Gods could affect it; Eden started to revive the dead Knight...no it wasn't who was doing the reviving but Alexandra.
“Let the light gain speed and transform into the infinite hope that gently covers the world in strict law. The snowflake that forms and disappears in the gentle breeze burns to become the small candle light that lives through the harsh wind of life. Complete Resurrection!”
Golden light covered the Knight's body as Alexandra used an extremely rare spell, one to revive the dead on the Knight.
“Cough!”
The Knight awoken suddenly and violently at once. Blood came out of the helmet near the mouth opening.
“Ah, forgot to heal his wounds while I had the chance....Alexandra; heal else you'll need to revive him again” said Eden.
Alexandra sighed and reminded Eden, “He can't die here but can only faint in this place remember? I can't believe your going senile right now.”
Eden made a light fist and tapped the side of his hand into the palm of his other hand and said, “Ah, forgot about that. But that doesn't change that you need to heal him else he'll faint this time.”
“Right right. Healing Hand.”
Light came out of Alexandra's hand as the Knight recovered back to full health as everyone else observed. Touching various places around his body, the Knight thanked the two before woke up the 'Demon King'...no 'Princess' from her sleep as well.
But they didn't and simply looked at each other with an amused smile and then said:
“Knight you do it~”
“This is the duty of the Knight right? To awaken the princess~”
As if they understood what was happening immediately, the three girls sparkled in expectations. Just because they couldn't experience this kind of thing nor talk about it with others in real life, it doesn't mean they couldn't in this game where no one was hating on them intentionally.
The boys on the other hand took a while more to understand the two's words but didn't act much on it and simply looked on to see what was going to happen.
On one side, there was a battered Knight with half broken armour and one the other side there was a battered half dead 'Demon King' that was now the 'Princess' apparently. The Knight was still quite shocked that he was being forced to do this but since this guild in the end helped him and his order, he could not refuse.
“I understand”
The Knight surrendered to the pressure at that moment. He walked over to the 'Princess' and took off the skull helmet.
“This is...intense....” said Lyndis blushing while seeing this.
Serena completely red did not say anything but was creeping closer to get a better look.
“I need to...observe this for....future reference....yes....” said Miriel doing the same.
While Eden and Alexandra ignored these three since there was something more entertaining in front of them; White and the other three guys did notice.
“Are....girls always like that?” asked Sain honestly not knowing why they acted like that. It was like a switch was hit in their head all of a sudden.
Raven shook his head saying that he didn't know either. Girls were....in the end part of the problem he had to deal with all his life but he didn't particularly hated them but tried to avoid them to prevent 'future conflict'.
Shadow on the other hand didn't care at all, “They can do what they want. Just watch the show” he said critically.
White watched the group's individual reaction and then muttered under his breath, [Are human children like this these days?] wondering what went wrong in their upbringing. Usually children were not allowed to go into danger like that else was it a custom of freemen to allow this or was it something Eden decided on his own.
Either way White also watched the interaction between the 'Knight' and 'Princess'.
After taking off the Demon....I mean princess's skull helmet in an angle that prevented everyone expect Eden and Alexandra from seeing his reaction and her face. He suddenly smacked her face several times as if it was natural.
“Wake up!”
Slap Slap Slap!
“....”
The dreams of three young girls were broken while two 'monsters' started laughing hysterically at the sight. Everyone else was only a bit shocked at these reactions all of a sudden. This was becoming more and more like a comedy route now.
“What what? Waht hapend?” asked the Demon King/Princess in a sleepy sluggish voice getting up all of a sudden. With pure red and white hair, she looked around and saw the Knight and said, “5 more minutes...” and immediately fell back asleep.
“Don't Sleep!”
WHACK!
The Knight kicked his person immediately seeing this. The Demon King/Princess rolled around holding her head where she was kicked in pain.
“This isn't at the Order you idiot! Plus you were turned into a Demon King as well! What the hell were you doing you for that to happen you fool?!” shouted the Knight lecturing this person without restraint.
“Eh?~ I was sleeping after walking a bit from home and then woke up here” replied the 'princess'.
“....”
The Knight then proceeded to kick this person several more times and then introduced her to everyone.
“This idiot is an apprentice at the Order of Knights and also something I happened to know by chance which is my greatest regret. Her name is Lielm.”
“And this person is an actual Knight from the same order and also someone I knew from an early age which is my greatest pride~ His name is Summer~”
Both of them introduced each other in a humorous manner...well at least one of them did. Seeing this Alexandra could not help but to ask:
“Would you like to join the guild? You'll fit right in, I'm sure.”
“Su-” “No” “No”
Two people rejected that idea before Lielm could accept. These two people were Summer and Eden. On one hand Summer didn't want to let Lielm go wild else something may go wrong and be the cause of a war and on the other hand Eden didn't want to deal with another troublesome person.
“Aww.....in that case, I'll make this one join the guild instead~” Alexandra went over in a flash and hugged White from behind like a doll.
[S-stop!]
White let out a cry for help while trying to get out but neither worked.
[What is this ridiculous strength?! This is enough to strangle a dragon to death!]
White was getting blue faced due to the lack of air in his lungs right now. At this rate, Alexandra would really chock him to death....no hug him to death. Eden let a silent prayer for White who 'died in vain' against the hugging monster.
“Things really got out of hand when she reached 5000 strength....” muttered Eden remembering the torture he and Viv went through when she felt like hugging something. It was a habit that they could endure for a while but got out of hand later on with no end.
Alexandra grinned while still holding onto White saying, “Either die being hugged by me or join the guild so I can hug you some more!” while rubbing her cheek on his like an obsessed person.
[Why does it seem like you are telling me when to die?! Never-mind that, a Dragon will never bow down to anyone or anything!]
Alexandra's iron grip on White increased in strength. Seeing this, Eden could not help to shiver and add in:
“You know that she not at full strength yet.....” Only pity was in his tone towards White.
[What?! This person is a monster!]
“Yep....I noticed for a long time now...”
“Hurry up and chose to join or else~”
[I don't even have a choice now?! Damn......fine!]
NPC “White” has joined the guild
In the end, White joined the guild.
“Yay~ I have a maid now~”
[What?!]
Guild Member “White” has been allocated the role “Maid”
“....”
White could only stare in disbelief that he was reduced to this. A mere servant to these people. A Dragon King reduced to this....then he remembered that Eden was dressed like a maid when he visited him for the first time after the Dragon King festival with tears in his eyes.
For some strange reason, White could no longer feel any hate for Eden despite what happened before.
Seeing all of this and as the guildmaster of this guild....Eden introduced White to the group.
“This is the White Dragon King of Purity known as White and....the guild's new maid....” he voice seemed extremely force along with the smile as well.
This was how White joined the guild as a maid.
