“...”
Eden was frowning at these words as they came out of this fortune-teller that had somehow managed to track him down and contact him via communication magic calling him to his alleyway.
However this alleyway in the middle of nowhere was at this point in time, the most important place in the continent as its future was being told and therefore decided. It was simply because this fortune-teller was also the very same person hundred or so years ago who predicted that freemen will to these lands. Of course back then she was known more as the Holy Seer than a minor fortune-teller.
But this didn't stop Eden was frowning at her behaviour towards him.
“Number 8 seemed very detailed for some reason....” muttered Eden annoyed at the words that the fortune teller used.
The fortune teller, a old hag in her late forties in appearance, smoking at her age shrugged his attitude towards her off.
“Well, there wasn't much there of interest so I just looked in your personal future. Surprisingly, that future is a fixed point in time” explained the Fortune teller to Eden.
However Eden was left even more confused as he had little knowledge of how time worked except for the basics.
“Fixed....Point?”
“It is a point in time where that event will happen and must happen every single time no matter what. It cannot be changed but can be altered in any way. Say a person's death was a fixed point in time. How many ways can that man die?”
Eden thought about it and calculated in frightening speed unlike most people and himself. Only when it came to such evil and horrible things that his mind raced faster than any other.
“15315806 ways” Eden answered casually.
“...”
The Fortune-teller gave Eden the look of 'Are you serious?' while Eden gave back the look 'Yes I am serious.' The fortune-teller sighed at the person in front of her which she dragged in here my force and threats.
“Anyway, there is a way you can avoid this future since it most likely will occur while in battle” said the fortune-teller.
Eden gave the fortune-teller the look of 'I'm listening', but she stretched out her hand and said, “100 Gold.”
“...”
Eden was momentary stunned by her actions of demanding money. However Eden thought back of all the time in which he was in all sorts of accidents that it went beyond the Gods toying with him. It was to such an extend that it seems like a force more powerful than Gods themselves were using him as a play thing for their amusement.
As such Eden took out his money pouch and dropped 100 Gold on the table in which the Fortune-teller took with a smile on her greedy face. Such a face was not befitting for someone who was once known as the Holy Seer.
“Okay, now I can tell you the way” she said with a smile on her face. With this, she could pay for a few things once again which would last a while. Of course she could get money from the kingdom that united the continent together as the Holy Seer but what was the fun of life if she did that and more importantly would that money grabbing emperor allow her to?

While Eden has no love for money, he has a hatred of losing money in any way whether its from gambling due to Alexandra, theft die to Alexandra or dying due to Alexandra. Now that Eden thought about it, most of the bad things around happened due to Alexandra one way or another.
“Simply act the scenario out before it occurs. That way the action that must occur already happened.”
“...”
With those words and no more business with the Fortune-teller, Eden left. He left but at the last step turned around and looked at the shadows with a threatening glance. For a brief moment his fighting spirit was let out, of course by a tiny bit to his standards but every creature within a 100 kilometre radius was scared stiff.
“...”
Upon Eden leaving, the fortune-teller smiled to herself again and called out the person in the shadows. She smiled since the rumours were true indeed. To think that current him was able to detect one of the strongest forces in existence and even scare him at the same time.
“So that is the grown up Destroyer. A bit harmless don't you think? Hey, don't tell me that you were actually scared” the fortune-teller, no at this point it was more accurate to call her the Holy Seer; laughed at the sight of her companion in this dark alleyway.
“Harmless to you she may be, but I swear she knew I was there and the aura that was sent to me was enough to kill an ordinary person. Honestly to think that other Gods considered her somewhat tamed” complained the other person who was shot with the full force of a 'tiny' bit of fighting spirit.
“But you are..what do they call you? A Heretic God I believed?” the Holy Seer now taking on the appearance of a young maiden no more than 20 years of age chuckled.
Both the Holy Seer and the Heretic God in the shadow continued to talk about the young and yet old Destroyer that they met. It was something that most being that have a connection to Divinity or Gods could say. It was simply because they had a instinctual fear of Destroyers and this one didn't even age one bit since he came to this world!
“Is it wise not to tell her the actual reason you called onto her?” asked the Heretic God.
The Holy Seer let out one of the rare true smiles she has left in her, “Of course, he knew for a very long time that this day was coming. It's only natural since they are 'kin'.”
The Holy Seer smiled sadly into the distant past.
“Wait a minute” said the Heretic God suddenly.
“What is it?” asked the Holy Seer.
“Why is it a 'him'? Isn't the Destroyer a woman? I mean most Divine Beings watched her wedding....even though the husband looked similar to a woman and had Divine Aura in him....”
The Holy Seer could only stare then a burst of laugher was let out startling the Heretic God.
“Hahaha, that's only because he lost a bet and had to act as the bride to his own wedding!”
