Yuka and Mizo start walking into the simulation room. “Urm Mizo, before we fight I wanted to ask you something” Mizo turns around. “What’s up?”. Yuka rubs the back of his head and looks very awkward. “So I was just thinking… maybe… like if you wanted to of course. When we get back after the arenas… do you wanna maybe go and get something to eat?”. Mizo blushes “are you asking me on a date”. Yuka waves his arms about and starts to panic “I’m just saying only if you want to go get something to eat, I get it if you say no, that's totally fine, if not I understand, honestly its cool just forget I said anything”. Mizo laughs “How about if you win this match I’ll go on the date with you” his eyes widen and he begins to smile. “Wait… what if I lose” “then you have to do my maths homework for a month”. Yuka starts looking scared and then quickly turns to seeming very confident. “Deal” they both smile and walk into the simulation room.

They download into the simulation and the countdown and horn are sounded, immediately Yuka runs towards Mizo and thinks to himself, “I can’t lose this fight it's not that I don't want to lose, it's just…”. He suddenly starts looking confident, “it's just I want to win, because if I do... he looks up and sees Mizo looking back at him”. As he gets closer Mizo puts her hand in the air “I forfeit”. Yuka stops and looks super confused as the winner sign appears. He looks over at Mizo smiling in a shy manner. As they exit the room Mizo turns to Yuka “A promise is a promise, how does Saturday sound?”. She smiles and walks off. He stops walking and stares at her whilst she walks away, he then punches the air and starts celebrating to himself, then looks around the room to check no one was watching, he then quickly starts walking over to the academy seating area and sits down. After a few moments, he looks to his side and see’s Hiro twirling metal balls in the air using her powers. “Hey, Hiro…”

Shuichi walks past them both and heads out to the empty part of the main hall, opposite he sees Takuyaki, Shuichi Smirks and Takuyaki smirks back at him then they both head into the room and download into the simulation. Shuichi pulls out his sword and Takuyaki charges up his lightning. “I told you I won’t go easy on you Shuichi”. “I'll try my best to make sure you don't need to”. The horn is sounded and with a quick flash of lightning Takuyaki lunges towards him at great speed, he swings his sword and in slow motion Takuyaki ducks under it and slides past him, he turns and runs at him again, Shuichi continues and swings his sword a couple of times but Takuyaki easily avoids them, he punches Shuichi in the gut and sends him flying backwards. Shuichi swings his sword sending 4 air slices at Takuyaki, who runs towards them and dodges them all. He then punches him multiple times in the stomach, Shuichi takes a step back to recover then takes a deep breath and heavily swings his sword to cut his body in half, but Takuyaki leans back, dodges it and returns by htting him with an uppercut. He then speeds in and slams him to the ground.

Takuyaki grabs Shuichi by the collar and pulls him closer. “You’re good, I can tell you train non-stop, maybe harder than anyone else in this tournament, however you’re just too slow for me, but don’t feel bad, everyone is”. Shuichi looks up and smiles “then show them what a student of Nozomi academy can do”. Takuyaki smiles, within a second he’s run Shuichi to the side of the arena, dragging him by the collar and throws him off the edge. The winner screen shows and Takuyaki looks up at the crowd as they start to cheer. Shuichi is laying on the ground, looks up and smiles at him. The hosts begin to speak “what an incredible tournament this has been so far, full of twists and turns and so many surprises but after a roller coaster of a ride we are now down to our 2 finalists”. “That’s right, Takuyaki Kikuchi of Nozomi Academy vs Yuka Yoshida of Titan Academy. 1 academy last year didn’t exist, and the other didn’t even make it past the first stage”. “That’s right but for me, what makes this really interesting is that these are both being trained by the number 1 and number 2 hero’s in Japan, which goes to show these students both have something special, therefore I am expecting big things in this final”.

“That’s true, and I hate to ask but who’s your favourite to win?”. “I’ve got to be honest, I think that’s an easy bet, Takuyaki has absolutely blasted through every stage and every fight with relative ease, yes Yuka has surprised us on many occasions but when it comes down to the level of control they have of their abilities, Takuyaki is the clear winner. Also Yuka has only made it to the finals through 2 forfeits from his own academy, in my opinion, Takuyaki wins hands down”. “I’ve got to agree with you there however Yuka’s combat sense is incredible, the things he can think of both before and during he match to give him the edge is incredible, if I'm being best his intuition during combat kind of reminds me a little of Ratman”. “Yes, I see what you mean there, his intuition in battle is incredible and the ability to think on the spot that will definitely give him an edge, his power isn’t always reliable but by using his brain he gives himself a chance”. “That’s right, but as much as I like an underdog I do have to agree that Takuyaki has the upper hand, but who knows, maybe Yuka could be our little dark horse in this fight”. Well I guess we’ll find out soon but for now we go to a 15 minute break before this intense match up begins”.

Shuichi walks toward his academy, they all stand up and greet him, Kenikai stands up and greets him in. “Hey, you did great, and you got into the semi-finals, that's an amazing achievement”. Behind him Takuyaki leaves the simulation room and walks towards the Titan academy area, he walks up behind Shuichi and stops right in front of him, everyone becomes silent and Shuichi turns around, Takuyaki bows and holds it for a few seconds then stands up straight. “I saw you gave it your all during that fight, and I’m sorry you didn’t win but thank you for your support in me”. Shuichi bows back “I couldn’t have lost to a better person, with your strong will and reason to fight I know you will become a great hero one day”. Takuyaki approaches Yuka, and Yuka looks worried. Again Takuyaki bows “I look forward to our fight in the finals, good luck”. Yuka awkwardly smiles and bows back “good luck to you too”. Takuyaki stands up “But I also expect you to go full out against me, I want to win this fight by proving I’m the best”. Yuka smirks “sounds like a deal”. Takuyaki walks away and goes to his academy. Hiro walks up to Yuka and gives him a load of steel balls “here you go”. He smiles, throws them in the air and then catches them in a cloth bag on his belt and closes it. “I’m ready for you Takuyaki”.

On the other side of the world in America, in a dark abandoned building, a group of thugs have set up operations in their gun smuggling business. Some of them are counting money, whilst others are loading guns into craters and vehicles. 3 guards are sat on wooden boxes playing poker and smoking. Suddenly one of them hears a very faint noise and turns around “what was that?”. The other 2 laugh. “Are you trying to distract us so you can cheat again?”. The other guy looks behind. “No, I swear I heard something”. They continue laughing and the other guy slams a card down. “Oh come on, give it up there was no noise, let’s play”. They continue playing for a second before the guy hears another noise behind. He turns again. “No guys I swear I could hear something”. He turns around and they have both disappeared, he stands up immediately and pulls out his gun. “Guys if this is some prank then stop it right now, if one of you jumps out the corner I swear I’m going to fill you with bullets”. He suddenly feels a presence behind him and a shadowy figure risesu and towers over him, he turns around and gasps then suddenly the shadowy figure quickly and silentlytakes him down.

The guys counting the money are laughing and joking together when one of them gets up. “Hey, I’m going to take a leak, I'll be back in 2”. “Hey, you better not have stashed any down your socks for the strip club later”. They all start laughing and the guy walks off. “Hey shut it, you idiot”. He goes into the toilet and starts to use the urinal, the bathroom is dirty and dingy and half destroyed, and the light begins to flicker. As the light flickers off and back on again the dark figure appears behind him, the light flickers off and on again and both the figure and the man are gone. The 3 other guys counting the cash continue joking when one of them turns around to look at the toilet and sees a shadow move in the corner of his eye. He jumps up and pulls out his gun. “What the hell was that, I just saw something move”. The others stand up and pull their guns. “What was it?”. “I don’t know I just saw something move out the corner of my eye”. One of them sits down and puts his gun away. “Ah you probably saw a rat or something, don’t worry about it”. The other guys put their guns away and sit down. “Yeah, you’re probably right”.

Suddenly one of them looks up and sees the shadowy figure behind him. “Shit, it’s there”. He goes to stand up and grab his gun but the shadowy figure slams it out of his hand, the guy in front of him goes to stand up but he kicks him in the back of the leg, knocking him to the floor and punches him in the head knocking him unconscious. The last guy grabs his gun and fires at him however as they hit him the bullets bounce off. The guys loading the guns into the trucks hear the shooting and start to grab their guns, they begin making their way to where the shooting came from. Back in the fight he grabs the last gun and throws it in the guys face then jumps over the table and kicks the other in the chest, one of them swings for him but he grabs his arm and twists it, breaking it in the process, and then throws his body into the other guy causing them to both fall to the floor. Suddenly thegunmen come up the stairs and start shooting at him, he jumps behind the box and hides there for a few seconds.

One of the shooters turns to the other. “Was that who I think it was”. “I only saw him for a second but I think so”. “Crap we need to get the hell out of here”. He shouts out to everyone “Fall back, let's grab the stuff and go”. As they start to move backwards a metal object flies at one of the gunmen and hits him in the arm, he screams, pulls it out and looks at it. “A tail knife, it’s definitely him, it’s Ratman”. Suddenly the figure jumps out to reveal a man dressed in an armoured rat costume, everyone starts shooting at him and he dives out of the way of the bullets and sweeps one of the shooters off his feet. He continues fighting his way through the abandoned building taking out the gunmen one by one using a variety of martial arts and fighting styles, as well as several gadgets to help him take them down.

A few hours later the police have completely sectioned off the building and are covering the place. An officer comes in and is greeted by another officer. “Sir they’re all over here”. He heads in to find all the men tied together. “Was it him?”. The other officer hands him a card. “This was found with the men”. He looks down to see a card with a rat symbol on it. “Yeah, it’s him, what kind of man runs around without powers dressed as a rat taking down withered and crime organisations”. “A mix between a hero and a madman”. The Ratman gets back to his cave and takes off his mask then sits down at a very advanced computer. “Thats another crime group taken down”. His computer starts ringing and he sees an incoming-call message and answers it. “Hey Superiorman what’s up? You wanna start a what, a group called the justice legends… I’m in”.
