The 10 students of Titan Academy download into the simulation of the arena. The 2 beams of light appear and Titan and WhiteWolf emerge from them. The countdown begins and a horn is sounded, the students prepare for an attack, which they are quickly greeted with. Hotaka smiles and mutters to himself. “I’m sorry guys, but everyone’s watching, I can’t go too easy on you, but I know you’ll do your best and maybe even surprise yourselves. Be ready, here I come”. He immediately lunges forward at unbelievable speed towards Yuka, at first Yuka seems shocked but remembers back to when this would happen in training, he steps back and gets into a stance ready to punch Titan. Titan looks over to Yuka as he approaches him and sees he'itate to s ready for a counterattack, Titan looks confused and then begins to think to himself for a second. “What's he doing? He must be up to something, theres no way he can stop me right now, but that can't stop me, I need to end him now”. Titan pulls his arm back and prepares to punch Yuka. Both Yuka and Titan swing their arms towards each other at he same time in an attempt to hit the other, just as Titan’s punch is about to land on Yuka, Kame steps in between them and receives the punch from Titan, the punch gets completely nullified however an immense gust of wind appears either side of Kame. Yuka stops his fist just before Kame and thinks to himself. “Woah that was close, but it’s good, so far everything is going to plan”.

Shuichi shouts out, “Etsuko, now”. Etsuko places out both hands and prepares to attack, “earth barrage”, suddenly a very small flame begins spewing from her hands and hits Titan. He looks at her and makes an awkward face, Yuka turns to her, “seriously”. Titan turns to Yuka again, “well done, you stopped my first attack, let’s see if you’re prepared for when things don’t go to plan”. He walks around Kame and approaches Yuka who begins to walk backwards. WhiteWolf starts running to back up Tita, as he does he transforms into a werewolf with white fur, he continues running at them on all 4s. Yuka looks over to the approaching WhiteWolf and Titan goes to punch Yuka “where are you looking, your attention should be on me”. Suddenly a large hand stops Titan’s fist, Titan turns to see Mizo in her rage state. Everyone smiles and Yuka replies. “And your attention should be on her”.

Titan quickly retaliates, punching Mizo with his other fist, as he does she goes flying into the far distance into the edge of the arena wall. Titan turns, faces Yuka and smiles, Yuka looks over at Mixo then back at Titan and smiles awkwardly. Etsuko shouts out “Attempt 2, earth barrage” suddenly an incredibly large wall of earth rises from the ground hitting Titan and sending him hurtling backwards. Yuka brushes the sweat from his head and turns to Etsuko “Thank you, I owe you one”. WhiteWolf finally reaches the students and goes to attack Yuka with a swipe of his claws, Shuichi jumps in and pulls out his new ‘Sibling Sword Supreme’ and blocks the attack. WhiteWolf looks at it for a second and compliments it, “nice sword”. Shuichi smiles and replies “thanks”. then turns behind hi and shouts out to the rest of the students “let’s move on to phase 2”. He swipes his sword across and WhiteWolf jumps backwards.

Mizo gets back up, shakes off her head and jumps towards Titan and lands in front of him. Yuka, Kame, Etsuko and Daisuke also start running towards them. Missing o continues to punch Mizo but she uses everything she has to dodge the attacks whilst the others are approaching for backup. Meanwhile Shuichi and WhiteWolf continue fighting, he swings his claws at Shuichi in multiple succession, however, Shuichi uses his Katana to continue blocking each attack. WhiteWolf pulls his arm back and goes to punch Shuichi, Shuichi notices and quickly rotates his sword, placing his hand behind it, in order to reduce the impact of the blow. As WhiteWolf’s first hits, Shuichi slides back a meter or so and then smiles. “My turn”. He jumps forwards and swings his sword at him. WhiteWolf laughs, “I like your confidence but you’re going to have to do better than that kid”. He turns his hand and blocks the sword attack with his claws. After several blows are exchanged and blocked from both sides, WhiteWolf again attempts to slice Shuichi.

For a moment Shuichi feels like time slows down and he thinks to himself, “I can’t dodge this, he’s too close and too fast, but I can’t let my team down this early. Damn it there's nothing I can do, I guess they’re going to have to continue fighting without me”. He closes his eyes and prepares for the attack, suddenly his body moves a few meters back, sliding along the floor, he opens his eyes again and looks confused. He turns to see Hiro has her hand out. He nods at her and shouts out “Thank you”. Hiro smiles. “Don’t mention it”. Tatsuo runs innext to Shuichi and draws his sword also, “together”. Shuichi nods. “Together”. They both run in and continue fighting with him, Tatsuo immediately gets a punch to the stomach and is knocked back. “Damn he’s fast”. Shuichi laughs and strikes his sword which again is blocked by WhiteWolf, “try to keep up Tatsuo”. Tatsuo laughs and runs in again with his sword ready to strike.

Titan and Mizo are grappling with each other. “Come on Mizo I know you have got more than that in you”. He lifts her up and slams her against the floor then lifte her back up to punch her in the face, as he does she goes flying backwards. He immediately goes to lunge forward towards her but Etsuko jumps in and fires off some different elemental attacks of varying powers, Titan blocks each attack with his bare hands and then pulls his hand back, he punches towards Etsuko and a large force of wind hurtles toward her, she holds out both hands to try and stop it but the pressure is too much and shegets pushed backwards, trying to stop herself going further she digs her feet into the ground but the force is still too much, it hits her and sends her flying backwards. Titan turns and again goes for Yuka, Kame turns and speaks to Daisuke “do you remember the plan?”. Titan again goes to punch Yuka but Daisuke jumps in front of him.

As Titan’s fist approaches Daisuke, gain time seems to go slowly, he then remembers the team meeting before the fight started. Back in the meeting room Ryota is speaking “Ok, two of the basic principles of a magic trick is the art of misdirection and quick switches, what we need to do is direct his attention towards a specific person”. Shuichi thinks for a second then jumps in. “I assume that he will most likelyfocus his attacks on Yuka immediately and continue to attack him until he’s eliminated Yuka from the game”. Yuka looks up, “huh, why me?”. Shuichi smirks, “isn’t it obvious? You’re the only one at the moment who could gather enough power to land a hit on Titan that would have any real effect, Mizo’s strong yes but against Titan there's no competition, your attack though rivals even his”. Yuka nods, “I suppose that makes sense but that would mean surviving just under 15 minutes of fighting with Titan, we wouldn't stans a chance”. Ryota continues. “That might not be the case, if Shuichi’s theory is correct we can prolong the fight by using the misdirection and switch tactic I just mentioned. While his attention is aimed at you we will have a couple defensive strategies to stop Titan’s attacks having any effect on you”.

Shuichi jumps in again “remember the aim isn’t to win, that’s most likely imposible with the current power we have between us, plus any academy would find that near impossible if they were going up against Titan, instead the aim for us is to stall him for as long as possible, that’s when we’ll strike with our final chance attack”. Back in the arena Daisuke jumps in front of Titans fist, “if I can make my body hard enough I can take some of the impact from your punch, it won't stop you completely but I should be able to save Yuka’s life”. Titan looks at Daiuske and again thinks to himself. “What are they planning, is he going to take the punch and slow it down?”. Whilst Titan thinks this his fist slows down “crap I've got to carry on with this punch either way”, as his fist makes contact with Daisuk, it goes completely through him and hits Yuka, Yuka goes flying backwards and Daisuke turns around “crap, sorry Yuka”.

Etsuko hits her forehead with the palm of her hand, “Damn it Daisuke you were supposed to take the hit, well at least we confused him enough and slowed down Titans fist otherwise that would of been game over for Yuka”. Titan then looks at Daisuke and continues with a barrage of punches all of which go through his body. Daisuke chuckles, “missed me”. Titan grabs him by the neck and picks him up “you lost concentration Daisuke, that's definitely something be working on back in class next week”. Etsuko jumps in and fires a large rock at Titan, he holds out his hand, grabs it and crushes it then swings his arm sending them flying back at her, she holds out both hands and tries to stop the incoming projectiles. Titan then turns to Daisuke, “unfortunately this is it for you”. Daisuke gulps and Hotaka punches him in the face with full force sending him flying to the very edge of the arena. A big X appears above Daisuke. “That’s one dealt with”.

Shuichi and Tatsuo continue attacking WhiteWolf, and WhiteWolf laughs. “It looks like I underestimated you children, you clearly have a great teacher, I guess I don’t need to go easy on you anymore”. Suddenly WhiteWolf’s speed and strength increase drastically and he turns from defensive to offensive. Shuichi and Tatsuo narrowly avoid his attacks and continue getting pushed back. Suddenly WhiteWolf’s claws swing at Shuichi but stop moments before slashing him to pieces. Shuichi looks over to see Hiro with both arms out using her abilities to stop his attacks. She appears to be struggling. Hiro shouts out. “I don’t think I can hold him much longer, Kenikai, now would be a good time to activate your ability and get involved”. Kenikai breathes out heavily, “Damn it I was hoping they wouldn’t need me, I guess I’ve got to use my ability and hope for the best”.

He activates his ability then smiles and punches the air, “yes, that’s what I’m talking about”. White Wolf breaks free of Hiro’s hold and continues attacking, Shuichi and Tatsuo continue to block attacks but WhiteWolf charges in towards them and they both shout out at the same time. “Kenikai”. Suddenly a transformed werewolf version of Kenikai jumps in front of them. WhiteWolf stops for a second, smiles then continues to charge at them. Werewolf Kenikai runs towards him and they clash in the middle Kenikai swipes at WhiteWolf but he blocks it and punches him to the floor, then picks him up and throws him backwards. Shuichi and Tatsuo appear from either side as he flies past them and continues to attack him, Kenikai also gets back up and runs back towards them in an effort to support the attack.

Hiro punches the sky. “Oh yeah 3 on 1, maybe we might stand a chance after all”. She turns to Ryota. “So I’m guessing you’re just going to stand there the whole time and do nothing”. Ryota looks exasperated and points out both arms towards the fight. “What the hell can I do, he’s a literal werewolf, you want me to go over a pull a coin out of his ear… oh my god, I hate my sisters. Anyway what about you, you’re standing back here as well”. Hiro scoffs. “I’m just waiting for the right opportunity. In the meantime maybe you can help and go meditate over there”. Ryota sighs and resumes watching them fight. Tatsuo, Kenikai and Shuichi continue fighting WhiteWolf. WhiteWolf goes to swipe for Kenikai but his arm suddenly stops, behind again Hiro has stopped his attack. White Wolf turns and looks at her “hmmm this is tricky, every time I try and deal a fatal attack she stops me, but from the looks of it she only has the power to stop one arm at a time so…”. With his other hand, he grabs Kenikai and throws him behind, Hiro and Ryota hold out their hands and catch Kenikai. As they put him down Hiro looks up to see WhiteWolf in front of her, he swipes at her and she blocks her face. Ryota jumps in front of the attack and gets slashed, as he does he shouts out. “Self-sacrifice. Hiro pulls her arms away and smiles. “Idiot”. She puts out both arms and screams loudly as she does WhiteWolf gets pushed back a little bit and he looks in shock.

Hiro smiles. “I hid my power from you to wait for the right chance, in the past month my powers have grown from 2% to 9%, right now I can even push a full person, you’re quite heavy so it’s difficult but this is the time where I’ll use my power to stop you”. She pushes him back again and he flies back a little further, as he does 2 swords appear through his chest, he looks down and then looks back at the students, Kenikai and Shuichi are behind him with their swords plunged through his body. He then looks forward and sees werewolf Kenikai running towards him on all 4 legs, he then jumps and swipes at his neck. As he does WhiteWolf smiles and mutters to himself. “Not bad kids”. Kenikai’s claws cut across his neck, slicing it off, his head falls to the floor and his body disappears, an X appears above where he was. The 4 of them cheer and then suddenly realise the others are still fighting. Tatsuo speaks out. “Let’s go help the others”. They turn around and see the fight and Shuichi stops. “It’s too late, there’s nothing we can do now”.

Enraged Mizo runs at Hotaka, he takes a deep breath and then looks up at the sky. “I’m sorry Mizo but I can’t go too easy on you”. Mizo goes to punch him with a full-force attack but he grabs her fist, she tries to hit him with her other arm but he grabs that also, he kicks her back and then charges at her, he continues to hit her with several heavy punches, he pulls his arm back and swings, hitting her in the face and sending her flying backwards, she crashes into the floor and turns back into her normal form. He then turns and immediately lunges over to Etsuko, she attempts to stop him with multiple attacks but all the attacks are completely ineffective, he flies up to her, picks hers up by the neck and slams her into the ground. He then looks over to Kame and flies over to him, he punches Kame but as his fist nearly makes contact it’s brought to a standstill, for the first time he is experiencing an attack where his punch is completely ineffective. He continues to try and punch him but the result is the same, Kame stands there looking completely unphased.

Hotaka laughs. “Well this is a first, but you’ll learn when you become a hero that even when the odds look slim, there’s always a way to victory”. He then slams his fist into the ground causing the ground beneath them to cave in and form a massive hole, Kame falls in and then stands up and looks up to see Hotaka flying above the hole, he then flies off. Yuka is laying on the floor from the earlier attack, he attempts to push himself into a standing position to reveal that both his arms are broken. “Damn it, he broke both my arms when I blocked his attack earlier, but if I hadn’t I’d already be dead so I guess that's something”. He looks around to see his nearby classmates are unable to help back him up, suddenly Titan lands right in front of him and starts walking slowly towards Yuka, Yuka looks behind and starts walking backwards, trying to slowly edge further away from him, however, as he does he trips and falls over. Titan walks over to him and picks him up by his shirt collar. “I’m sorry Yuka, you and your classmates put up a good fight, even surprising me, they did a good job protecting you but they’re not going to be able to do that anymore, they’re all gone and both your arms are broken”. Yuka looks around to see Daisuke unconscious in the wall, Kame stuck in the hole, Mizo in her normal form and Etsuko eliminated. Titan looks over to the clock “30 seconds more that’s all you needed, I’m sorry if this gets you all eliminated from the competition but there’s always next year, we’ll make sure to train you allseven harder and use this experience to grow”. Yuka is hanging his head and looks devastated, Titan pulls his arm back ready to punch him but as he goes to Hotaka looks shocked, as Yuka lifts his head he reveals himself to be smiling.

He remembers back to the meeting. Shuichi is talking to them all “As I said, Yuka will be our main way of gaining points in this round, he has the best shot of knocking Titan back and if any academy can land a blow that effects Titan they’ll be sure to get some extra points. Stall Titan as long as possible and when the power is enough hit him with it”. Yuka then remembers when the fight had just begun, Yuka swings for Titan just before it was stopped by Kame, however, Yuka looks where his fist is and sees a pocket. Back in the present Titan is holding Yuka, Yuka looks down to see a golden circle, the pocket he created earlier, floating just in front of Titan. Yuka smiles and Hotaka goes to punch him quickly “Release”. Suddenly an incredibly large force hurtles towards Titan sending him flying backwards and a large dust cloud appears all the way to the edge of the arena where Titan was sent to. Yuka drops to the ground onto his knees, he forces himself to stand up without his hands and looks up at the dust cloud.

As the dust settles could starts to disappear he sees Titan floating above the massive crack in the ground that is between Yuka and Hotaka, Titan shouts across “As I said Yuka, there’s always next year”. Titan lunges forward flying at great speeds to hit Yuka. Mizo in her normal form sits up and sees what’s about to happen, she puts her hand out towards him. “Yuka”. Titan's fist draws closer and closer to Yuka until his fist is moments from impact, suddenly a horn is heard. Titan’s fist stops just short of Yuka and a large gust of wind appears on either side of him. Both Titan and Yuka smile at each other. Kenikai turns back into his original form and they all look over to the others. Kenikai hugs Tatsuo and Shuichi and then goes to hug Hiro, as he does she sends him flying backwards. A pop-up appears for Suichi ‘Guild created, Titan guild is formed, bonus, you will gain 10% more experience when fighting with one of your guild members. Another pop-up appears ‘Level up, speed and swordsmanship’. Another pop-up appears ‘Upgraded single blade slice skill to single blade slice+, power of attack has now doubled. Shuichi looks at the pop-up and smiles.

The two presenters are heard over the tv, “That…was… EXTRAORDINARY”. “Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. What an unbelievable fight, I have never seen a fight where a group of students who seemingly stood absolutely no chance, somehow managed to pull out everything they had and make it to the end, if I had placed a bet on the way that fight went I can tell you right now I’d be a very, very rich man”. “Let’s talk about the obvious, they didn’t win, but let’s think this through here, these students just held off the number one hero in Japan, possibly one of the strongest humans I’ve ever seen with my own two eyes to walk this Earth. Not only that but they managed to even get a few punches in themselves”. “That’s right. Especially that wonder attack from Yuka Yoshida, I mean that was just incredible, an attack that even sent Titan flying. Wow well, that is going to be a hard one for the judges to decide, I know which way I would be leaning, however, the question is, will they make it to the top 10? Will they qualify? We’ll find out after the break”. The screen shows Yuka smiling with both arms broken. Mizo runs in and hugs him. Then realises what she’s done and pulls away. They both turn from each other and blush. Back in his office, Akio takes off his VR glasses “hm, well that was interesting”.
