A Tv turns on, after flicking through numerous channels it finally stops on one, a voiceover is heard and the programme begins. The screen is black “Thousands of years ago it was discovered that each one of us has the potential to be great, each one of us is born with the seed” on the tv a seed is shown. “For the first 10 years of our normal human lives, this seed lays dormant in us” the seed is shown sitting in the core of the outline of a human. “But on our 10th birthday at some point throughout the day, there is a 0.1%. Chance this seed will activate” the seed in the human body shines bright and illuminates the whole screen. “Only 1 in a thousand people are lucky enough to have their seed activated and when it does their power activates with it. As their power grows so does the seed within them, growing like a plant” the seed turns into a small plant getting bigger and bigger. “Each day you water and nourish your bodies and in doing so you nourish your souls and cores, in doing so you also nourish your seed, making both your plant and your powers grow.” An animation is shown on the tv of the plant being watered and fed sunlight, it continues to grow.

“However there are some that choose not to bathe their seed in light but instead to shadow it in darkness and evil” a shadow appears over the plant and it begins to blacken and wither “these villains or ‘withered’ use their powers for great evil, stealing, hurting, killing and much worse. The good news is where there is darkness there is also light” a light fills the darkness. “And for some their goodness and greatness make their seed grow to unbelievable sizes and in doing so their powers also grow to unfathomable strengths.” The plant continues to increase until it becomes a large tree. “Every once in a while these strong and mighty people grow up to be what we call… heroes. These heroes go about protecting Earth and all its people from natural disasters” footage shows a hero saving people from a tornado, “from accidents”. More footage is shown of another hero saving people from a burning building “and most importantly saving people from the evil likes of the withered.” Another hero is seen fighting a villain and winning. “One such hero has over the past 15 years saved more lives than any other, has stopped more villains than we can count and has worked tirelessly to protect the people of this planet and in doing so has worked his way into our homes, into our hearts and finally into the position of the number one hero in Japan. Please welcome our special guest today, InfiniTitan”

The programme turns into a talk show style programme with the narrator being the tv show host, on walks the number one hero, a tall, muscular man with an infinity symbol on his chest. The host welcomes the hero “Thank you, Titan, for coming on our show today, this is your first interview since the big announcement you made earlier this week which we’ll come back a little bit later on but of course first we are going to talk about the fact that today marks 15 years since your debut as a hero” the crowd begin cheering and clapping, as they quiet down Titan begins to talk. “Well first of all thank you for having me Hitoshi and thank you all for your wonderful support” the crowd begin to cheer again “as you mentioned today marks 15 years since my debut and it’s been an absolute pleasure getting to do what I do every day making sure that you are all safe and getting home back to your loved ones” Hitoshi claps and the audience join in. “now there are some interesting topics you mentioned there, first of all, we’re going to talk about loved ones or more specifically two loved ones, as we will go a little bit further into your relationship with our fellow heroine WildFire but first let’s watch the footage of your first ever appearance.”

The screen zooms in on a small tv and an old-style film of a random villain and hero fighting is being played, the villain is holding the withered by the throat and is about to deal the final blow, he throws his fists towards the hero and the camera goes off to the side, the footage re-centres but a dust cloud has covered the scene, as it begins to settle a younger InfiniTitan is seen stopping the villains punch, he smiles and returns a punch to the villain's face who goes flying backwards. Titan flies after him and the footage follows them until they fly off out of sight.

Back in the studio Hitoshi and Titan are sitting watching the tv, and the crowd once again begin to cheer and applaud. The host continues “so this was an incredible first appearance not only did you save the life of a great hero ‘Hydrowave’ but you fought and defeated ‘maniac’ a well-known withered of that decade.” Titan replies “well of course like all heroes I was very nervous, but my sensei had trained me for that moment for a long time and I had to do something eventually.” the host's eyebrows raise, “And after 15 years are you ready to reveal who this elusive master that trained you was” Titan chuckles “it’s still going to remain a secret I’m afraid, maybe soon we will see” the host laughs along and then continues to interview him “one thing you haven’t kept secret is your romantic relationship with our very own superheroine WildFire ever since it was announced 5 years ago” a headline shows on the screen, on it a picture of Titan and wildfire together holding hands, the title reads ‘things start to heat up between Titan and Wildfire’. “so I know some of us may have heard the story before but how did you guys meet?”.

Titan begins to reminisce “Well Hitoshi I’d love to tell you that I saved her from grave danger and protect my ego but in fact, it was her that saved me. 6 years back I was in a 1-on-6 fight with some of the big names, Vex and hex the villainous twins, Dust storm, Malice, PyroKnight and GutRot. And well frankly I wasn't sure if I could handle them all at once as I was also recovering from an injury from a previous fight the night before. Anyway just as I thought this was it for me I felt a sudden intense heat. At the time I thought PyroKnight had taken one last swing at me but it was in fact Wildfire coming in to save me. Together we took them all down and sent them to Genesis, the number 1 prison in the world. What a lot of people don't know about the prison is it was named genesis after the first book of the bible because they hope to rehabilitate the prisoners and make a fresh start for them, possibly helping them integrate back into society. Anyway of course after her saving me I took her to get some drinks and food to thank her, one thing lead to another and within a few weeks we were dating, at first we kept it on the down low but after a while we realised that we both could handle ourselves and that we didn’t want to hide it anymore”. The crowd cheer and applaud, as it dies down the host continues to speak.

“That’s fantastic and what a wonderful story. Not so wonderful of course talking about Genesis is the large-scale breakout that happened 3 years back where over 150 High profile villains escaped, some of which were in the top 25 ranked most dangerous villains of the decade, and some of them we haven’t seen or heard of since, of course with the help of yourself and the other fantastic heroes a lot of them have been found, apprehended and returned but what do you think of the security of the prison now, as it was believed before to be inescapable, but since the break out has had a large backlash. Of course also good to note it is still unknown exactly how they did it.” Titan takes a few seconds to collect his thoughts and begins to answer “honestly up until then in the 50 years that genesis had been running there hadn't been a single person to get out without prior permission, it’s still considered one of the safest prisons in the world. Of course, security has since been tightened even further but at least it shows that even something we think is impossible is still possible and we always need to be vigilant and prepared in case the unexpected happens. That’s why we are here, We will always do our best to protect the people as will all the fantastic people that work in the prison to keep the withered there.” Another massive round of applause is given by the audience.

“But what about the escaped convicts are you not worried about what they are up to, some tough ones escaped, hex, vex, PyroKnight, smash, iron hammer, crater, hades, demolition and tremble but to name a few”. Titan sits up in his chair and faces the audience “of course I’m worried, each day they are out there they pose a threat to the lives of the people of this world, but there will never not be evil out there. However as long as there is good to stop it, we will stand together and fight together to stop them until it's time for the new generation of heroes to take over”. The whole crowd give a standing ovation. The host wipes a tear from his cheek, “wow Titan that’s incredible, you aren’t just a master hero but also a master wordsmith. Now before you go, one last thing we have to speak about today is, of course, the big announcement you made last week. As you just mentioned soon it will be the next generation of heroes turn to protect people, this year more than any other it will be very important for the training of these future heroes as you’ve announced you’re opening an academy to train a select number of students”.

Titan smirks. “I know what it’s like to get the calling to be a hero, even before my seed activated I knew I wanted to be one. The moment I got my power I was lucky to start training with my Sensei. I had already been training with him for 5 years when the first academy was founded, I then of course trained and studied at Oni academy for 2 years before continuing training with my mentor for another 3”. Hitoshi interrupts. “Wow that's a pretty long time to train no wonder you're the number one here in Japan”. Titan replies. “Well this is a long time but back then I needed to be sure, the thing is some people have incredible potential but maybe don’t have the training to use it, that’s why I founded the academy to train a select few who could one day possibly take my place as the number one hero and be as formidable or even more powerful than myself.”

Hitoshi jumps in “I have 3 questions on that if I can, then I'll promise to let you go, Firstly, how many students are you thinking of taking on? Secondly how will you decide which students to take? And lastly, how will you balance teaching whilst continuing your role as the number 1 hero?". “At the moment it is looking likely that 10 students will be picked” the host jumps in again “that’s interesting as that’s the exact number of candidates for the Academic Arena the famous academy vs academy championships that happen every year” Titan sits up in his seat again “yes this is in fact true however this isn’t the main reason, we want the students to help each other improve but also not have the class overcrowded so that we can focus our time on each student making sure they all reach their full potential. As for how I will decide which students will be selected, as you know in the next month the Academy evaluations will be taking place to determine the academic skill levels of all students including the natural ability test for all the seed-activated students that will evaluate their power levels. I will be monitoring these and hopefully will find the right candidates. Of course, I will still be busy protecting the people so I will also rely on my fellow heroes to teach but the good news is my beautiful wife has agreed to teach the first students for their 2 years at the academy”.

“That’s fantastic Titan I do wish the chosen few all the best of luck. Now before you go do you have any last words” Titan turns to the camera and smiles “I wish luck to all the students in their evaluation week, especially to those taking the natural ability test. To those students who are selected to train at my academy, I promise to personally make sure you are all the finest heroes to walk this Earth.” The screen changes back to the host “that’s amazing well, thank you so much for being with us today, and thank you all for watching at home. From myself and Titan, have a good night”. The tv screen turns off.
