Demons are born with demonic energy in their body; Their physique was built to accommodate demonic mana, and a human isn't thus the side effects but demonic humans are still stronger than normal humans.
Outside the antique shop, no other shops are open nearby. The corridor is filled with dirt and cobwebs. This place looks like an abandoned or unused part of a tower. A newspaper lies outside stating the events that happened in Elvis.
...
Well, Rena should be able to handle herself for chapter 0. Since I no longer interfere with anything, the events should be similar to the raw ones. Rena might have met Lei now.
Looking around in the antique shop, a few things catch my eye.

"Convenient...Neat." I say.
The next item is a pair of black daggers.

On my finger, the storage ring is still intact. Did they forget to take it or were they in a hurry?
I pull out the face mask and wear it.
!
A few demonic humans are approaching the antique shop.
Peeking out of the shop, I see two men wearing ordinary tunics and pants walking closer.
They slow down when they notice me. I nod at them and they return the nod before we go our separate paths, minding our own business.
I walk past the duo and notice an eye tattoo on one of their necks and a sword tattoo on the other.
--------------------------
Demon Cultist(s)
Level: 92, 93
Strength: Strong Body, Speed, Better senses
Weakness:??
Status: Calm
Tribe: Human
--------------------------
The system registers them as "monsters" thus the monster status screen.
The duo of demon cultists walk to the store, confused by the owner's disappearance.
"What's this smell..." one of them says.
They check the source of the smell and open the storage room.
!!
Two corpses lay throughout with guts and blood decorating the room.
"W-What?!"
Distracted by the bizarre sight, they fail to notice my presence until it was too late.
*BAM!!*
"UGH?!" My feet strike one of the demon cultist's neck, hitting his carotid artery and knocking him out.
?!
The second demon cultist tries to retaliate and draws his sword.
*CHING!*
His blade collides with my dagger and both of us are expelled back.
"Why are you attacking us?! Aren't you...wait..."
The demon cultist finally notices that I am the perpetrator behind those deaths.
Hmm...
Currently, excluding "Mana Sense" and "Throwing", I don't have any offensive skills to use since my weapon is now a dagger instead of a firearm. My opponent seems to have some experience fighting up his sleeve.
I throw a glance at the environment and notice the shelves of antiques and boxes.
Ah...this might work.
The demon cultist knows by instinct that talking is futile and attacks.
Several swirls of wind shoot from his body as he leaps forward with his sword.
A slash down, I step aside. He follows up with another slash, I step back. Demonic energy gathers in my hand. As he tries to go for a horizontal cut, I duck and throw a punch at his body.
"NGH?!"
*BOOM!*
He is sent flying into the shelves of items. Vases and items drop and shatter on his body. I take a shard of glass and engulf it with demonic mana before throwing it into his eye.
"ARGHHH!??" He screams in pain yet no one can hear it. This is an abandoned, lawless part of Libra.
As he rolls around grasping his eyes, blood spews down from the socket. I take my dagger and cut the ligaments in his legs, preventing him from escaping. Red crimson gore splashes on my face accompanied by a traumatic cry.
...
I feel nothing. Disgust? I probably would have felt it last time. What is happening to my body...
The demonic mana within...is changing me.
...
Will I lose my humanity at this rate?
I shake my head and throw the thought off. I still can feel compassion so I'm not that far yet.
As the cultist wail in pain, I drag the unconscious cultist into the storage room and tie him to the same chair I sat on. I look around and look for ropes to tie his legs and arms to the chair before enhancing the ropes with demonic mana.
I turn back to see the other cultist, a trail of blood leads outside. I follow the trail of blood to find the pitiful cultist trying to crawl his way away slowly.
"EEK!" He screeches when he notices me and frantically crawls away, using only his fingers. His nails crack and bleed. The sound of my footsteps echoes in the desolate corridor and I drag the cultist back.
"NO!! PLEASE! NOO!!" He begs.
I simply stare at him nonchalantly and continue dragging him into the bloody storage room.
Closing the door, I break off the handle used to open the door and throw it aside.
"W-What are you going to do to me...?" the demon cultist says.
I throw a glance at his unconscious friend and snap.
"Ah?!" the unconscious cultist wakes up and jolts to find himself tied, confused by the scenery. "You..are?"
I smile at the tied cultist and take his friend closer. I hold up one arm and grab hold of one finger.
!!!
"W-W-Wait..." The cultist mumbles.
*CRACK!*
"ARGHHHH!!!!!" His index finger twists back.
"I will ask some questions. Answer them truthfully alright?" I say.
"What...what...is going on..." the tied cultist mumbles.
This is odd. Since when am I so sinister? I'm not my selfish and cunning alter ego yet...it's starting to feel like I'm becoming more like him.
