(Author's Note: The two Samuel has similar behaviour thus difficult to differentiate if one doesn't spot the cues. The core Samuel, a.k.a kind Samuel, is selfless and will often think of ways to benefit himself and others. While the sly Samuel will manipulate to only benefit the most. The cues usually appear in their train of thought or from a slight behavioural giveaway. For example, sly Samuel sometimes has the urge to smirk or grin at a sinister deed. Even the Core Samuel himself doesn't often realise the change of personality.)
"Elvis Arcane" occurs in a world named "Bestokia". In ancient language, it meant "Bestolo's child". As explained before, Bestolo is the divine being from folklore that created everything.
Originally, 9 human kingdoms exist before the Grand War between The Hero and The Demon Lord.
Now only 3 remain. Elvis, Rodgof, and Kistan.
Rodgof is northwest of Elvis and their location lies under the sea. Being the kingdom of mages and magical technology, a largely impenetrable forcefield engulfs the giant seabed and prevents water from entering.
This last information is confidential.
The forcefield is erected by 10 large diamonds of mana crystals scattered throughout the city. Additional barrages of security cover the crystals, ancestors have deployed hundreds of arrays, illusions, and even traps. Only a few are selected by the royalty to check and maintain the 10 mana crystals every 10 years.
That made demon invasion extremely difficult.
Kistan is east of Elvis, a city known for its peaceful harmony between many races, The City of Peace. With a long history, Kistan has somewhat achieved an amicable connection between different races. They work together and efficiently fend off any demon invasion using bizarre and creative methods by fusing each race's speciality.
Secondly, Kistan's environment consists of many "Light" Mana-emitting objects and substances, some may call it Holy Mana instead. Those mana conflicts with the nature of demonic mana and can possibly be fatal to demons.
It seems like a safe haven from external demons' invasion but the problem lies with the different races. You can guess where I am going with this. Many who sought refuge in Kistan were unable to adopt the unique culture and felt uncomfortable. Conflicts within the kingdom arose and a civil war will occur in the future.
I heave a sigh of relief as I put down the book on the table I bought for 100 gold, books are expensive in this era. The world is the same as I remember it.
In a playthrough where the player does nothing, the events that occurred formed the "basis" of the timeline that occurs in the game called the "Raw Timeline".

At the start, the butterfly effect is diminutive. Events in the game occur somewhat similarly no matter what the player does.
In the Raw Timeline, the demons do start invading Elvis at the start. That hasn't changed this time either. The only difference was the location and what army invaded. From Ruisan's speech, the demons had kept a close eye on me and thus might have launched the attack on Chael after spies leaked my trip to "test" my capabilities.

"Come in," I say.
The door swings open and the old couple shows up. They have a foreign accent with a young child and are currently transporting goods to Rodgof. I am currently travelling with them after paying the appropriate amount.
The night passed and the day came.
"We are setting off in a few hours. This inn has a complimentary breakfast; Their food is great." says the old man with wrinkles on his forehead and a white beard with long sideburns down.
I nod and smile. "I will check it out later. Thank you."
The old man nods and left. He is called Muis and his wife is Natur, they did not mention their son's identity.
To recap, Arsto was a bastard of the Kas family. He committed many atrocities which I haven't covered yet and earned himself an extremely bad reputation. No heavy punishment befalls him due to his bloodline belonging to the Kas family. After I was transmigrated into this world, I took over Arsto's existence and the Kas family turned into the Turner family; I inherited everything.
After my death, the Pill of Life chained my soul and resurrected me after an hour by using the environmental mana to construct a physical body. The surrounding atmosphere was contaminated with extreme demonic mana, thus the pill of life had to improvise, making me a highly demonic human.
I obtained the following skills as a result.
------------------
Great Demonic Affinity(lvl max)
A natural innate talent required for the use of demonic techniques.
x5 mastery for any demonic techniques.
------------------
------------------
Mana Sense has been enhanced.
The player can now absorb Demonic Mana and manipulate it.
------------------
------------------
Demonic Immunity(lvl 3)
This passive skill grants the user damage reduction when hit by any demonic techniques. The player can also resist demonic mana in the environment.
------------------
All of these skills are endgame skills.
Secondly, my magic stats gained a huge boost and I obtained a stronger body.

Evading the demon's radar, I've killed three birds with one stone.
However, one problem stands: my face.
Arsto has a notorious reputation in Rodgof because his deeds originate from that kingdom so many people will recognise me.
After breakfast, I set off with the couple to Rodgof.
Yet why am I still going to Rodgof?
Because Rodgof is the first kingdom to fall and I need to prevent that; Their technology cannot fall into the hands of demons.
