---------------
Congratulations. You have passed all the trials worthy of a warrior.
Title received:
Warrior Spirit
---------------
I am teleported into a small room with a bed, a wooden chest, a table with a chair, and a wardrobe. The only form of light comes from the candle burning on the table. It's magic.
No ordinary fire can burn so long.
Still...what was that? I instantly cleared the dungeon without partaking in the usual trials.
...
I guess things worked out for the better. I do not want to take the trial of patience, it's a stupidly tedious ordeal of staying in a battle stance for many hours.
"You are not Rena." a gentle voice of a young girl came from behind.
!!!!
My body jerks up and quickly turns around.
Nobody is there.
...?
"Who... spoke?" I ask but nothing responds.
...
A door is opposite the bed, going through that will lead the player back.
A book and some ink and quill lie on the table. Picking up the book, a sudden holographic panel slides up.

One Side Mission has been created!
Find all pages of Pharoh's diary.

The diary records daily lifestyles that any ordinary person can relate to. The first page writes an introduction of who Pharoh is.
It reads:
"Greetings! If you are reading this, you shouldn't be.
I am Pharoh Kennis Lavie, a supreme mage of the Elvis Empire.
My type is a violent woman with a bit of masochism, shoulder-length hair is preferred.
My age would be around 70 by the time I write this. Don't worry! I look young and handsome.
1.7 Bestolo. "
At the end is a swirling haphazard signature.
1.7 Bestolo is a date. In my original world, it would be the 17th of January. In a year, there are 365 days. Divide the day of the year by 10 and add a Bestolo behind would be the way people in this world write dates.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Bestolo is a folklore worshipped as the God of Time. There are several fairytales of Bestolo, the most prominent being Bestolo creating time and space. Thus, everything is part of Bestolo including time and that leads to the date format.
A supreme mage is the highest title granted to a mage wielding around 1000 magic stats and Tier 10 magic spells.
Following the supreme titles are the sovereign title, grand title, and high title. High mages like Lena are major but not very uncommon.
4 pages afterwards have vague details about his research and what he has done for the day. From eating to drinking and sleeping, every detail was written down in short sentences.
The diary might seem like a normal book. However, only when standing in a location at a certain time, the moonlight will reveal the hidden inscriptions. The book then becomes a grimoire about immortality.
Immortality is tempting and it comes at a price: sanity.
Pharoh is the mage of The Hero's party 50 years ago. Currently, he is a captive in the Demon Lord's castle, serving as an infinite meat supply due to his immortality. Immortality does not come with strength.
I turn my attention to the chest. Inside are a sword, spell book, potions, and boxes of pills.
!
Rich energy and aroma seep out from the box. A rose caramel smell fills the air.
I stash the potions and boxes of pills into my bag and pockets.
For the grimoire and sword, I have to carry them by hand.
...
I walk to the door and touch the handle.
"Is anyone there?" I say out loud.
...
Silence.
I leave the room and the door closes.
However, once I disappear, a young girl with a snow-like appearance in a white long dress sits on the bed.
"Who...is that?" she mumbles.
==================================
"ARGH?!" a subordinate shouts in pain as Radz apprehend them.
"Shut up! Traitor!!" Radz exclaims.
After Lena's alert and evidence, a thorough purge and investigation throughout every personnel were conducted. A total of 7 demon cultists were found, 4 were in Radz's team.
"Bastard! I treated all of you like brothers!" Radz says.
The subordinate frowns and looks Radz in the eyes. "It's mutual feelings so I will warn you. Humans cannot win! There will be a day the three human impenetrable fortress falls! Join the demon side. Think about survival- ARGHHH!!"
Radz gritted his teeth and stabbed the subordinate's hand. "So you are asking me to live as mere livestock? I would rather die."
Radz glares at the subordinate who squeals in pain and decapitates him.
!
"Sir Radz! Why-"
"Kill them. Demon Cultists cannot reveal any information. A death curse will kill them before they can." Radz replies.
Late at night and hundreds of people runs around to clean up the mess created. Some demon cultists tried to escape when found and caused 3 casualties.
Radz sits on a bench and rubs his eyes, yawning. He stares down and Lena sits beside him.
"You should rest, I can clean up the mess," Lena says.
Radz shakes his head. "I can't..." He holds his head down. "They are reminding me of something..."
Metals clank one another and a pair of legs come into sight.
Radz looks up to see Rena.
...
"Radz...may I have some of your time?" Rena asks.
Radz stares at her a little and sigh. He nods his head and follows her into a secluded spot behind a building.
Lena decided not to follow them and goes her way.
"How have you been?" Rena asks.
"Fine."
...
"It's been 3 years," Rena says. "Time flies by quickly, junior."
Radz scratches his head. "I'm older than you, you are still calling me a junior?"
"I am master's disciple before you. I am your senior."
Radz sighs. "...Fair enough."
Rena takes out a bottle of booze and hands it to Radz. "Cheer up."
"We have a battle tomorrow."
"I didn't ask you to drink the whole bottle."
...
Radz smiles. "Alright...thanks."
"What happened 15 years ago cannot be changed. Don't dwell on it too much." Rena says before leaving.
Radz stares at the booze. He is reminded of the Young Master Samuel, the booze was his favourite drink.
...
Something is off about the young master.
"Where is the young master?" Radz mumbles.
