Passive skill unlocked:
Beast Hunter
Condition: kill 500 beasts
-------------------
*pssst*
I open the cartridge and let the rock out. An ocean of monster corpses lies at the base of the mountain and forms a pyramid of carcasses up the slope.
The elf disappeared too, I bet she ran away pulling her hair in frustration. After all, I blatantly sent a message of mockery to her saying: You are my "exp" farm.
"It is true though," I say as I gaze upon the thousands of beasts.
Normally when its prey has the high ground, beasts will leave their prey alone due to survival instinct. But that was removed the moment it was tamed by magic. Thus they just keep coming...and dying.
If a tier 3 wolf shows up, I switch the mana stone to the orange one and instantly kill the wolf. When a tier 3 boar come, the one that is ridiculously big and has long curved tusks, they try to ram the mountain but it came back to bite them as the rocks at the tip roll down and smash them to pieces.
In other words, it was a huge feast for me.
I check my bag and notice one mana stone is still unused.
"Wow...I should get a tamer companion." I mumble.
This time, the trip was a blessing in disguise even if I don't meet the person I want to.

Luck(lvl 1)
+10% chance of double free stats when levelling up.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
+5% chance of encountering secrets within a dungeon
Something within the strings of fate has changed. The player can now craft his destiny.

50 stats invested into luck will give me a "Luck" passive. The message at the end is a crucial key to this world. Without it, Humanity will be doomed no matter what the player does.
From what I researched so far on the forum, there are various ways to attain this message. Increasing your luck is the fastest but most people don't want to waste their stats on luck because they won't survive.
That's true...for regular players.
Let's check the other passive skill.
---------------------
Beast Hunter(lvl max)
*This skill can be evolved*
A hunter that has many experiences killing beasts becomes the apex predator in the wild.
+50% damage to beasts.
-50% damage from beasts.
×2 exp obtained from beasts.
Weaker beasts will now run away in fear when you approach them. (Unless magic is involved)

I put on a broad grin in joy. I wanted to get this skill after the first monster invasion; my plans could move forward.
"Y-Young master!" a familiar voice says.
It's Radz. He and his subordinates came.
"D-Did you...?" Radz asks.
"Yes, I destroyed all of the beasts," I say as I slide down the slope.
Radz was immediately able to realize the strategy I used.
"Why did you use such a dangerous method?"
"Because of its efficiency and to humiliate the tamer," I say.
"Tamer?"
"The one who attacked us was an elf."
!!
Radz squeezes his eyes. "What? Why?"
I shrug and begin cutting a hole in a carcass. "Radz. Do you mind helping me extract the mana stones? Take as many as we can carry and prioritize the orange mana stones." I ask.
"A-Alright."
We return to Chael with a bag and hands full of mana stone. The fire is out, leaving behind only soot and charred corpses.
"Young master!" Orca cries out and runs to me.
She grabs my arms and checks my body. "Are you hurt anywhere?"
?!
"N-No?" I reply.
She squeezes my back.
"UCK?! Okay maybe that part, it hurts there." I say.
"Sniff...sorry."
Orca's eyes are red, was she crying?
thousands of people gather outside Chael to take a peek.
"It's really that bastard." A man says.
"Damn it...he is not going to ask for some ridiculous compensation, is he?"Another woman mumbles
"Since when did he learn how to shoot?" A man holding a bloody spear says.
A young woman, with long blonde hair and blue eyes, in the crowd steps out and bows. I tilt my head and raise my brow.
"Ah, she's the current magistrate of Chael, Lady Veronica Kasper," says Orca.
"Oh! There's no need to bow, I just did what I should." I say with a smile and help Veronica up.
"Y-Yes but I still won't become your concubine or hand over my sisters..." veronica mumbles.
Wha-...huh?
I turn to Orca. "Did Ars-...Is this the havoc you mentioned?" I whisper.
Orca nods.
Arsto, you fucker.
"Don't worry, I've given up on that. Right now, I just want to meet someone, a dwarf called Kasfo." I say.
Veronica was about to say something until someone in the crowd says "Yes, I'm here. What does the bastard noble want with me?" with a rough and arrogant tone.
A short, stocky bearded man walks out and glares at me. I return the glare with a pleasant smile. "Can we talk about business? In private." I ask.
...
Kasfo throws a glance at Veronica who nods. He sighs and gestures for me to follow him. We enter the city and head towards the other end.
The sight...is terrible.
I try to ignore it but it's impossible. Piles after piles of corpses are everywhere on the street, pierced, bitten, torn, mutilated. I notice the body of a young woman squatting and hugging a small headless corpse, the mother's spine was pulled out and her guts eaten.
"How is the sight? Appealing to a bastard like you?" Kasfo says.
Veins appear on my face as I clench my musket. "That's not a funny joke," I reply.
"Really? But this amount of lives is not even close to the amount that was lost because of you."
...
I hold my anger in and swallow my pride. If I want to save Elvis, I need this dwarf to help.
