Ling Chen POV:
After discussing with the Li clan the pricing was agreed upon I would be receiving 10 spirit stones for every steel weapon sold as well as 1,000 spirit stones upfront as a budget for a workshop to develop new alloys and weapons but the Li clan got first rights on the purchase of any new technologies created. In the discussions between Master Zhuang and the Li clan, I realized that the Li clan back in Sunki village is a subsidiary clan to the main branch here in Qingshui City. They promised that the Li clan in Sunki village would offer support for the development of the new workshop. Once all the nitty gritty details of the deal were sorted out Master Zhuang gave me a meaningful look and then signed the contract with the Li clan.
"Haha, I didn't think the Li clan would agree to all your demands boy they must really see potential in this new alloy." Master Zhuang told me with a big rosy smile on his face "Well I guess they understand the value of being able to create weapons as powerful as low grade 1 immortal weapons without the use of Immortal blacksmiths huh." I replied calmly "Well whatever the reason is let's get back to Sunki village so we can start designing this new workshop."
Once we reached back to the Sunki Village gate as I started to head back home I realized that I was technically homeless at the moment but all my research and blueprints were back in my room I knew I was going to have to get into conflict again with my parents. I sighed and walked back to my old home with a heavy heart.
I knocked on the door and my mother answered "Ling Chen what are you doing here we told you that you're not welcome here anymore." She said coldly "I know but I need to get my things I'm moving out." I replied plainly "Well you can try to take your stuff but we're not going to help you"My father replied with a smug grin on his face I wondered what he was going on about when I realized they changed the locks on my door.
"Fine, I'll just have to pick this new lock," I said while taking out a hairpin from my pocket "What do you think you're doing?" My father asked with an angry look on his face. "I'm picking the lock obviously" I replied plainly as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. My father's face turned red with anger, and he tried to stop me, but I had already picked up the lock and walked into my room.
My father had a defeated look on his face and then said "Fine take your stuff but I never want to see your face around this residence again you hear me" "Loud and clear" I replied plainly while picking up all my research papers and blueprints.

I walked out of the house with a heavy heart knowing that this was probably the last time I would ever see my parents again but I had to focus on the future now. I went back to Master Zhuang's workshop and started to work on designing the new workshop with him.
Ling Feng POV:
I was training finished my daily training with the village elder and was walking around the village when I saw my brother leaving the house with a large stack of papers in his arms. . I started to feel bad for him as it was my fault for kicking him out but when I thought about the years of everyone treating him like a prodigy but him being such trash I started to get mad again and was going to approach him again to see where he was going to move to but I decided not to him and I are on completely different social levels now he will just be a random village laborer in the future but I will become an almighty powerful immortal cultivator
I continued my walk around the village when I saw one of the girls from the village, Xiao Mei, walking toward me with a smile on her face. "Hi, Ling Feng!" She said while waving at me. "Hey, Xiao Mei, what's up?" I replied with a friendly smile. "Nothing much just wanted to say hi." She said while blushing slightly.
I chuckled and said "Well I'll see you around" and then continued on my way. As I was walking, I couldn't help but think about how much my life had changed since the day of the talent testing. At first, I was jealous of him because everyone thought he was so talented and amazing, but now that I had started cultivation and that my talent was revealed, I realized that there were many things that he couldn't do that I could and that he was never really that great he was just a confident frog in the well.
Once I finished my walk I headed back to the village elder's residence with a newfound confidence in myself and my future I was stopped by the elder "Feng I think your foundation is steady enough it is now time for you to learn proper immortal techniques, tomorrow you will enroll in the Sunki cultivation class where all the talented youth of the village learn to become Immortal cultivators." he said, "But why do I have to learn with the rest of them aren't you the best cultivator in the village anyways." I said with a shocked look on my face.
"Haha, although I'm the strongest that doesn't mean I'll be the best teacher but also the class is a good way for you to get to know the other talented youth of the village and for you to be able to expand your horizons and temper your personality." the elder said with an amused look on his face once I understood the reasoning but still didn't like it I hated being around large groups of people I've never been an outgoing person since my youth.
