Ling Feng POV:

I was currently in the process of learning about the history of our village "Sunki village was founded over 1000 years ago by the first generation of villagers who were all extremely talented in cultivation they quickly rose to power and became one of the most powerful cultivators in this region" The village elder said "The village is currently ruled by the 3 most powerful clans in the village which are the Chen clan the Xiao Clan and the Li Clan"

"The Chen clan is the most powerful clan in the village and their heir is Chen Tian"

"The Xiao Clan is the second most powerful clan in the village and their heir is Xiao Yan"

"The Li clan is the third most powerful clan in the village and their heir is Feng Wu"

I was surprised to hear this I had no idea that our village was so powerful "What about my family's clan master? What's our position in the village?" I asked him "Your Ling clan is considered to be a middle-tier power in the village but your clan is on good terms with all of the other clans so we are respected by them"

I nodded my head in understanding before asking "What about my brother? What's his position in the village?" "Your brother is considered to be a worthless trash"

I felt a surge of anger when I heard this I can't believe that my trashy brother is considered to be such an insignificant ant in the village while I'm the direct disciple of the village elder I'm going to make sure that he never surpasses me I'm going to become stronger than anyone else in this village "Don't worry Feng I'm sure that your brother will find his place in this world eventually" The village elder said as if he could sense my anger "Now if you'll excuse me I need to go tend to some other matters"

I nodded my head before getting up and leaving his house I was determined to become stronger than anyone else in this village no one was going to look down on me ever again especially not my trashy brother

Ling Chen POV:

I was currently in my room working on a new invention when I heard a commotion outside I walked over to the window and saw my brother Feng and a few other people from the village "What's going on?" I said to myself I was about to go downstairs to see what was going on when Feng and the others walked into my house "Ling Chen we need to talk" Feng said with an angry look on his face "What do you want Feng?" I said with a bored look on my face "I wanted to confront you for being the shame of the Ling clan and for not being able to cultivate" He said "I don't have time for this Feng I'm busy" I said while trying to shoo him away but he wasn't having any of it "You're going to listen to me whether you like it or not!" He said while walking closer to me "Fine what do you want to say?" I said with an annoyed look on my face

"I think you should leave the village and never come back," He said "Why would I do that?" I asked him "Because you're nothing but a disgrace to our clan! You're not even able to cultivate!" He said "I don't see how that's my fault," I said, "It is your fault for being such a useless trash and I'm going to discuss with father about getting you disowned from the family and kicked out of the house for being so worthless!" He said "I don't think that's going to happen, Feng," I said with a smirk on my face "And why not?" He asked "Because I'm the one who's going to be taking over the family business when father retires," I said "What! That's not possible you're not even able to cultivate how could you take over the family business?" He said "It's because I'm smarter than you and I have more talent in business than you'll ever have," I said, "You're just a coward who's too afraid to leave this village and make something of yourself!" He said "I'm not the one who's too afraid to leave this village Feng, you are," I said, "You're just a trashy coward who's going to end up being a farmer for the rest of your life while I'm going to be successful and make something of myself!" He said

He was so angry that he was about to say something else but I cut him off "I think it's time for you to leave Feng" I said in a cold voice "This is my house and I'll say when it's time for you to leave" He said "I don't think so Feng, you're leaving now" I said as I walked towards him he tried to back away but I grabbed him by the collar and dragged him towards the door "Let go of me!" He yelled as he tried to struggle free but I was too strong for him "I think it's time for you to leave Feng, and don't come back until you've accomplished something with your life" I said as I pushed him out the door and slammed it shut

I leaned my back against the door and sighed, I Realized I'll have to fast forward the plans to mass produce steel or else I might become homeless if Feng gets his way but I'll worry about that later right now I need to focus on my research.
