-What should I expect leraje ?

I asked the archfiend demon while staring into the deep darkness that was behind this stall it was the passage that would lead me towards where those demons were and show me what they were up to.

Hearing my question leraje thought for a few seconds before answer,his eyes were narrowed and I could see a violent green flash go through his eyes his hands were gripped,but he wasn't worried or nervous this kind of thing didn't scare him at all.

-You will be most probably be lead by a mirror image created by the passage it will whisper you words and other sweet words to stop you from going deeper or just discourage you further it may even try to make you angry or sad or it will try to win you over,it is always different,it always depends on the person himself of what to expect behind the darkness that lies within...

His words were mysterious and very profound it let me look at leraje in a little different light then before which was full of wisdom and experience behind his back.

-It depends on you...

I pondered...if I had enough time would I know what I needed to expect in this walk ? was it really so easily it may as well be something complete different...

I sighed...thinking about this any further wasn't helping me we are wasting time.

-May I go first ?

Leraje asked I didn't see any problem in that and just nodded my head while telling him to go ahead,he appreciated it and and stepped forward staring into the darkness as if it was nothing he reached his hand inside the endless void and started to go further,it looked weird from a spectating point of view and slightly intimidating too,honestly saying there is no healthy human in the world who would like the dark it was mostly portrait as the symbol of evil and bad even books had these metaphors about light and darkness and I knew very well that every person had their own darkness welling inside chained by its light since dark can't exist without light and light without dark made it so that people often just try to their dark side a mask so to say...and like so it took only a few seconds until leraje fully entered the darkness now not here by side anymore,but still feeling his presence on the other side of this door.

-Well shall I ?

I muttered.I closed my eyes and started to reach out for the dark void,the sensation I got the moment I touched it was like putting my hand into a pot of cold water it was chilling,but not lethal going further I could feel the same sensation spread through my body until I finally was inside..

-...

I inhaled deeply and felt the chilling cold air through my lungs my surroundings were evenly as cold as the air around not giving me shivers thought which was strange..the silence was real inside of here as I opened my eyes,but when I opened them I realized that there was only black...no light no figures just complete darkness... feeling that it was strange I looked at my hands for a moment,but even so I couldn't see them they were also completely black my vision seemed to be black,but I knew that wasn't the case my eyes were open and I still felt my hands right before me so I wasn't worried or panicked it was just a trick nothing else.

Feeling new found confidence rise inside of me I started walking down the dark path without stopping,I didn't see the path nor did I see where I was going,but I knew that somewhere and any moment I would reach the end of this passage even if I couldn't see it didn't matter,but what did matter were the things that came from this darkness...like the voices for example.

-Hey...Hey...Hey...you there ?

I could hear,the voice came from my left side and the tone was really close even thought my perception told me that there wasn't even a single person to the left I could still hear the voice calling out to me.

I ignored it talking to it will give it only more reason for me to get involved.

The voice to my left side sighed exaggerating afterwards came a mysterious giggle for some reason the voice of the being that was next to me bugged me out a lot as if I knew who it was,but quiet it was just right behind my corner,it was strange.

-Your ignoring me aren't you ? I see that you are walking aimlessly do you really believe that it was this easy to walk just by ? Or are you just too naive to be cautious of the dark ? Do you not feel scared or frightened by it,the endless depth of the human heart just hear right before your feet the ugliness envelopes you...not that you would know such a thing...dawn...hahaha

I stopped for a moment,the voice sounded surprised when I stopped,I could feel it making a suppressed giggle while standing in front of me at least thats where I thought it was..

The reason I stopped just now was because it had called my name...something that this thing shouldn't know...

-Who are you ?

I asked my voice solemn and quiet I knew that it could hear me it didn't matter if I started raising my voice so why even try.

-Oh...I am honored now your responding to me ?

Its characteristics were something creepy I had to admit.

-Who are you ?

I repeated if I wouldn't get a proper answer I would just repeat what I said and until then I will continue walking until my feet actually bring me somewhere staying where I was didn't help and walking is something fun to do for me...the space inside the prison I lived in was small and I would mostly spend time by walking up and down the room psychologically speaking there things that I never could get rid off hey already turned into habits that were unbreakable for me and couldn't live without.

-Oh who I am ? am you of course,who else was I going to be ?

With those chilling words everything in my surroundings started to light up suddenly the darkness was getting slightly more brighter and visible.

Feeling slightly surprised and looked around and noticed that I was now walking in a long corridor the floor was completely black while the walls were gray in front of me stood that being that was talking to me it shadowy figure was directly taken from some cheap horror movie and brought alive in this dark corridor its eyes were completely red as it started to take shape right in front of me starting form the legs and up to the torso the appearance was familiar even mask this shadow wore was known to me the only difference it had was that the color of the mask was black not white its eyes were also red not golden.

It was basically me.

-HAHAHA

The shadow laughed in front of me looking at me with a crazed glare his mannerism and speech were directly shown of how his body acted arrogant and crazy and what was worse is that it was my body.

The appearance didn't faze me and I ignored it once again directly walking through it as if it was nothing which it really was actually,nothing,the moment I walked through the shadow it dissolved into nothing,but smoke,but quickly followed me along by my side through this long dark hallway which I never liked.

-Why are you keep walking ? how about you stop and start talking to me a bit more ? You seemed really interested how I might have had possibly known your name...

I didn't look at it nor did I stop to converse with it and just said stiffly.

-I already know what you are you are just something that came from my head nothing else other then that there is no way that you may have known me...

The shadow seemed slightly impressed listening to me,but it quickly changed its expression and floated next to me in a laying down position legs crossed and hands behind its head its looked up at the ceiling as if it was the only thing it could do,speaking to me.

-Yes,you are right I am just something that came from your head nothing in particular just a single thought that you had crossing your mind a impression of who are or might be hiding inside yourself a shadow that follows you around and never gets to see the sunlight...

The shadow snapped its finger and with that pictures and sceneries started to play at the walls to either of my sides...those pictures were...my memories...

-You see since I am something that came out of you it is inevitable that I have the same memories as you,you are also the only one who can see me in this space not even the demon can see what is going on inside the head of its victim and only watch as they get swallowed by their own mind...

I said not even looking at him and instead ignoring everything that was happening around me walking straight forward concentrating on the dark path that was in front of me,it looked almost endless and I couldn't even see the exit from here.

The shadow hearing my question laughed and said.

-Oh you should since you have power that is so overwhelming and unstoppable it can give you anything you want you just need to desire it dawn...grasp it and it shall be yours for example...riches ?

The walls once again changed this time it was the same 2 pictures me standing in front of the bank that me and hestia had once visited I was standing in front of the bank as if I was possessed looking at it with a wicked intention through my mind at least thats what I understood through the eyes of the me in the picture.

I didn't speak and continued walking,the image that was on the walls was still there I couldn't pass it by it was as if it moved with me which it probably was,but I didn't care.

-You still ignoring me ? well then let me show you instead...

The shadow waved its hand and like so the picture started to move as if it was a recording the me in the picture started to close its eyes and at the next moment the pedestrians on the side stopped walking frozen in their own motion they looked like statues only the me in the picture was moving and it moved inside the bank with a evil grin on its face getting inside it easily crossed the security and walked past the reception counter going through a few doors it soon reached the fault this whole thing happened pretty quickly and without an obstacle at all it didn't fear the cameras or anything that would make him look like he was there it didn't worry him since it would never get traced back to him.

Obviously the me in the picture stood in front of the fault and drew his plasma sword the sword that was once the precious creation of the father of my friend was being used as a tool of robbery how humiliating and shameful must have it been if this in picture was me ? I wondered.

Without explanation the me in the picture just got inside through the vault door that was a feel steel plates thick,simply cutting a door for himself getting inside and packing all of the gold and money into the clavicula as if it was its own personal robbery bag the created of the book was probably also not intending for the book to be used this way.

With that done it was pretty much a done deal the me in the picture took everything without breaking a sweat and walked out again into the open area to the outside standing back where his original position was and starting time again,the me in the picture walked off making a quiet satisfied smile on its face as it did.

-Haha wasn't that entertaining ?

The shadow asked stopping the picture of me walking off.

I didn't comment on what he wanted me to see I already understood what he wanted to say,but I didn't want to admit it...what was depicted in the picture was something that I was definitely capable of since the ability to freeze time gave basically hours of invincibility it was said without a doubt that I could rob a bank under a millisecond without anyone ever knowing who it was or how it was done this kind of power had many uses as it had many draw backs such as energy consumption which was insane moving around too rashly in that kind of state was dangerous on itself since it consumed a lot of energy.I even once broken my mind through this,I was already fortunate enough for chronos to revive me so I wasn't eager for a second time now was I ?

But the biggest reason why I don't do this kind of thing was also very simple...I am not the guy in the picture...I can be ruthless and merciless if I had to be being unreasonable and stupid was also something I could be,but I was never wicked nor would I call myself a good person keeping my hands to myself was something I did best and even now why would I want to rob a bank ? My work already paid enough for me what would I even want more to ask ? I am not ambitious like this.

The shadow seeing that I wasn't responding to it or making any moves to deny him made him a bit more annoyed while we walked through this corridor I also felt that this environment was somewhat trying to influence me and let my guard down,the compelling enchantment in this place was real like leraje said,but it wasn't enough for it take me down,it would need to work harder then this which the shadow also seemed to have understood as it appeared right before me only 10 steps ahead speaking in a deep,but commanding voice every second I would cross a meter and every second it would speak to me.

-I can see that you aren't interested,no your just not ambitious enough,but at the same time,you can't lie to me since you would basically say that you are denying yourself since I know that you at least made this kind of thought at least once in your life taking power into your own hand abusing this power is something you had thought without a doubt ain't I right ?

The shadow smile and is finished speaking I stopped walking and like this both of us were standing face to face my golden eyes staring into its red eyes both of us looked down on each other,but then I pulled off my mask and smiled at it.

Seeing me do this the shadow was confused my smile was something it didn't seem to have had predicted,it stood strong,but it couldn't help,but feel intimidated by the smile that I was giving it subconsciously the shadow took a step back as I spoke to it keeping my smile to myself.

-Yes,I know that I had thought of those things before and that robbing was something that I would have probably done If I didn't get the work I had now who knows maybe I would have abused this power even now so I am not saying that I am denying you I am very well aware of the darkness you are talking about even more so the power I am wielding is the biggest vessel of corruption in my opinion having so much power on the tip of your finger is just too tempting to not use a waste to leaving hanging and a shame to be wielded by a short sighted person like myself...but still you know what ?

The shadow now was pretty tense its red glowing eyes narrowed down as it looked at me the compelling force in the area started to thicken even more,but it still wasn't enough as it asked me.

-What ?

The voice was now nothing comparable to mine sounded only demonic and high pitched.

I continued to smile and stepped forward one big stride directly standing in front of the shadow close by and personal,I could see fear start to well inside of the shadows as it looked at me.

-I am happy the way I am now...

-Grrr...LIAR !

The shadow spat out outraged its disguise was completely blown now turning into a truck sized big gray shadow its eyes were enormous as they glowed with insanity and hate it made inaudible weird sounds and stared at me the force was now going into a very dangerous level trying to breach me and take my humanity off me rip apart and let the dark replace me it was strong,but I held resolute not dropping a single drop of sweat or shiver out of fear.

The shadow bellowed enormous hands were being created as they bellowed to me behind the shadow light appeared which looked to be the exit of this passage with one mean shadow blocking its way.

-GODROWNINYOUROWNLIES!

It shouted once again as its enormous hands were charging at me and right before it was about to hit me.

It stopped.

(Tik Tak Tik Tak)

The sound of my footsteps resounded as I made my way around the giant shadow and towards the exit the shadow was still in position its imposing figure standing like a statue.

I looked back it for the last moment and muttered.

-I could have done this from the very beginning couldn't I ?

With those words I entered the light and was greeted by leraje who was standing,waiting for me to appear in a very calm manner,like I expected him to.
