The fat thug roared clear anger resounding in his voice as he glared at me with sharp look in his eyes,it was dark and the streets were pretty much deserted at these times leaving only a few people to come out from their shadows to greet their day in the darkness,my hands were momentarily twitching for a second my eyes glossy showing a faint golden shine to it which was normally not even noticeable.

I kept to myself without reacting to this fat thugs angry roaring,I glanced to my sides,a lot of people were coming out of their hiding holes looking at them I could see their malicious and greedy intent flashing through their eyes their lips literally turned into a disgusting grin the smell overwhelmingly bad for my nose making me want to rip it apart instead of endure this smell...of course thats just a metaphor.

-Hey ! Pretty face are you listening or are you deaf too ?

Seeing my completely disregard him the fat thug once again started roaring for no apparent reason,the people were only getting closer as I could feel a total of 14 guys closing up slowly.

-Hey raznik stop it don't you see that you are scaring this poor guy witless ? How about you start to get a bit more hospitable instead this guy seems really lost at the moment we could get him back home don't you think ? Of course payment would be much appreciated for our services...hehe

Suddenly another guy jumped in,his looks were the same as the other thugs in this area ,dirty and messy the tone of his words were amused with a glint of greed voicing through making it very suggestive of what he meant by saying that....and I don't mean that they are going to help me find the right direction.

Where did I get myself into....

I sighed in my mind only shaking my head helplessly as I thought for a small moment,it is after all this kind of nation and time I am in,the place here is very different from the place I came as in I can't count how many times people already tried to either mess with me or take something from me this included the bandit,the guardsman,the mercenaries and even scar herself who wanted that potion from me.

It makes me really,wonder how times would change so drastically with robbing people from either broad daylight or at night time and honestly speaking,getting stuck like this wasn't my biggest turn on,I didn't want to waste my time with these good-for-nothing thieves or murderers.

My thoughts circulated and suddenly I felt myself turning cold for a minute my attitude changing drastically as I raised my eyes towards this fat thug in front of me,showing him the cold look I had,my golden eyes directly pointing at his chubby face as if I was looking at a pane piece of glass,the thug himself seemed momentarily disturbed by my look and narrowed his eyes at me not sure what to think wanting to say something again until I started myself.

The fat thug was surprised,the sheer coldness that came out of my words even surprised me at one point as I didn't expect to come off like that,not that I regretted it in any way,but I felt like I was getting irritated by nothing at all they were only thugs throwing some money at them could possibly just make them go away and leave me alone,I didn't need to murder anyone and make myself some kind of target to someone it wasn't worth the trouble,they weren't worth the trouble.

But unfortunate for me,I knew that simply throwing money wasn't going to work with them,from where money comes from there is always more they won't leave until they squeeze every single penny off my body and get satisfied from it,truly persistent like a cockroach.

The thug was clearly angry very angry in fact as his whole face contoured into a cramped purple expression looking like a pig head that was rotten for days,he hands were constantly gripped hard he obviously wanted to beat me senseless and take my belongings he itched for it and was just about to do until at the very last moment another guy jumped in raising his hand in front of the fat thug stopping the guy from approaching me not only surprising me,but also surprising the other thugs in the area from his presence.

-Boss,why are you stopping me we need to beat up this brat and show him that he can't easily mess with us on our turf !

The fat thug roared with anger,but clearly not very keen on actually arguing with the person who was blocking him there was even a very clear line of fear crossing his eyes while looking at this person...boss he called him ?

My eyes traveled for a second shifting my neck to the side as I looked at the person who stopped the thug,my eyes lightly shone a faint golden light with a apprehensive attitude like always,staring at this new guy in front of me.

Gray,that was the first thing I noticed when looking at this person,his whole body was clad in leather armor or cloth colored gray,you wouldn't normally notice something like this in this kind of dark environment,but my eyes were different,for me everything was crystal clear as if it was day light giving me a very clear a distinctive figure of the person in front of me plus I couldn't entirely see his face a part of it was covered by his gray hood and even though I still didn't feel threatened by anything right now,I could still feel that oppressive aura around this person who they labeled as their boss.

The boss in fact ignored the fat thug not bothering to reply to him as he took a step forward towards me shoving him back to his men while raising his head,only now could I see his eyes a bit more clearer and they were amber shining a orange light while staring at me,it made me a bit surprised as I felt that something was not right...I wasn't threatened or anything,but I still kept my eyes on this man starting to get curious as sparks started to gather in my brain cells.

The surrounding men also started to stop in their tracks and rather back tracked a bit from where they came from,their facial expressions had turned into a 180 degree as if they wanted to say that they didn't want to do anything with this anymore...quite curious.

-Kid...you don't seem to be around this place...what would someone as peculiar and young like you be doing here out in the night don't you know that the night is the time when bad things happen the most ?

The mysterious man finally spoke,the moment he started speaking something clicked inside my brain...I knew that voice very much...where did I hear it ? I contemplated,not sure what I should be doing right now as I considered to exchange a few words anyways just to satisfy my curiosity,in any case it was already abundantly clear to me that the person in front of me was a dragon my senses had already figured that out the moment we met.

Hearing my curious words the man in front of my showed a grin for a second,that grin wasn't cruel or dark in way it was rather amused and satisfied in a way which made me even more confused as to who this character was,maybe leaving already would be the best course of action right now...

I thought staring at the man in front of me not sure if I should just ignore him and walk away or simply talk my way out somehow in anyway that annoying feeling of familiarity was also nagging on me,my eyes constantly tried to look deeper into the hood of this man to see his full face,but no matter what his angle was a bit too hidden for me to actually seeing anything that could show his face,he also seemed to have actively hide himself from me which made me even more suspicious as it seemed like he knew who I was...

I gripped my hands tight,things were starting to turn into a very confusing route a route that I wasn't sure that I would like in any case whatsoever...my thoughts temporarily traveled towards my plasma sword ready to summon it at any moment.

The streets were very dim and dark,there were only a few torches lit lighting the way and the

The fat thug shouted out,the thug around us were all slowly starting to get incredibly agitated by my words,especially the threat that I smoothly conveyed through my teeth,they were literally gnashing their teeth right now looking at me with a murderous intent.The only reason no one seemed to be charging at me right now though was because of this mysterious man in front of me who they called their boss.

He himself just continued smiling at me his amber eyes continuously shining with a orange luster while his hands were held onto his waist in a straight posture making him look very formal for some reason.

-Haha...you really talk big kid...aren't you a bit too arrogant ? Why do you think we are the ones who are going to regret it ? Don't you think that you are clearly in a disadvantage look around you,you are alone and you look weak,tell me how are you going to defeat us all ?

The mysterious man spoke the tone of his voice once again not cruel or dark,but amused his intents were obviously not murder,but his speech itself had made motivated the thugs even more as they only laughed looking at me with a evil look in their eyes.

I was indifferent,they weren't the first fools who tried to test me and they wouldn't be the last either.I sneered raising my fingers for a moment about to summon my plasma sword into existence to roast them alive.My eyes were cold and sharp almost as if I could cut with them alone making the golden light that radiated from my eyes almost as lethal as my plasma beam.

-Try me if you want...

My voice was clear and loud,the thugs also stopped laughing the moment they heard the flesh cutting tone of my voice they were a bit disturbed by the sudden turn of events but the mysterious man was the only person who didn't seem to be fazed.

Finally after a few seconds later,the mysterious man simply snorted putting his head down as he shook it helplessly with a small laughing coming out of his lips.

-Haha...it seems like my little prank had gone a bit too far kid...it also seems like we don't have much time either your friend is coming soon so I tell you what...catch

He said and in a flash movement a white card suddenly flew out of the mans sleeve it directly flew towards me whirling like a star the speed was incredibly,but it was still not enough to fool my eyes as I easily caught the card with my two fingers.

The card read with capital letters and red ink,looking at it I couldn't help,but have my eyes suddenly turn wide as I realized that the writing on the card was entirely english...

The man said and before I even could do anything a gust came out of nowhere and like that he vanished into the thin air,my eyes were literally wide blinking constantly as I couldn't understand what just happened.

The thugs were evenly as confused as I was,but it doesn't take an genius to understand what just happened between me and the guy through our conversation it was obvious that I was no longer a prey anymore and begrudgingly they started to walk away one after another the fat thug especially was sour,his hand was always on his waist to pull the kitchen knife of his,he for sure wanted to gut me right now,but he also very well knew that doing that wouldn't go well for him.

And if he really tried,he would also soon figure out that it wasn't me who was going to get gutted instead.

With these thoughts I quickly wanted to walk away already,the card was still in my hand and I double checked to see if I wasn't seeing things and for sure the words were english without a doubt,the native language of this empire was something completely different something alien that I couldn't understand,but this thing in my hands was without a doubt the language I was most familiar with handed to me by a shady man that came from thin air...

Amber eyes...I have seen these amber eyes before,but from where ?

I really wondered about to walk again until I heard a very loud cry from somewhere coming from the sky descending downwards.

(BANG)

With a banging sound I could see a shadow jump down the roof top the fat thug that was once standing in front of me immediately turned into a landing cushion instead as I saw his head busted towards the ground and his teeth shattered everywhere with blood seeming from his mouth piece.

Everyone was surprised by the sudden turn of events and stared towards the person who had just landed on the fat thug me included we all stared and you could see crimson red hair flowing in the air as the figure of a woman could be seen standing on top of the man showing a cold expression on her face.

She shouted back,looking extremely happy when she saw me.
