The jungle was thick and lush walking through it was troublesome on top of it,I had not clue where I was or where I was heading towards,the only thing I was concerned about was to get away from that roar as far as I could.

I tried multiple times to contact someone like leraje,melony or hestia,but it didn't work it was still jamming me out for some reason giving me no access,it was strange,but I sucked in my breath and kept my calm I first needed to keep myself safe I have no idea where that disc had brought me and that roar just now didn't sound very friendly in my opinion.

(Crack !)

Suddenly a small cracking noise could be heard it sounded as if someone had stepped on a branch,I stopped for a moment feeling that it was not wise to go any further I increased my senses to see what was up and just as I did that the bushes started to brush...something was moving.

-Hiyaaaa !

As I was thinking that a loud shout could be heard coming my way I quickly turned around to see who it was and saw a man with a big sword charging my way,his face looked vicious and bloodthirsty his sword was long and sharp and his clothing was looked to be some kind of leather dirty at that too...

Having no time to talk I quickly jumped to the side dodging this guys attack looking closer at him I realized that he wasn't human at all even my sense's told me that identifying him as one of those fey I had fought back in the senjin house even those signature long ears that only elves in fiction books had.

While dodging his attack I also summoned my plasma sword not actually activating it,but rather holding it just in case staring at the fey man with a confused look on my face.

-Who are you ?

I asked coldly,but the man didn't seem to understand what I just said or he just chose to ignore it and tried to swing at me once again,but just as he was about to slash me I used time lag and cut off his blade leaving him with his broken hilt.

When time turned back to normal you could hear the sound of dropping metal the fey man swung having no idea that his blade was already gone swinging at nothing in particular which made him look stupid.

When he realized that his blade was on the ground he was confused and looked at me shouting at me once again this time what seemed to be words.

-Akul kabanra hakuull !

The fey man shouted at me,his weird words immediately told me that I was indeed in some foreign or different land since I couldn't understand a single word he was saying and from the way his face contoured while yelling at me with his words I was sure that he said something on those lines of "I Will Kill You".

I sighed...flicking my plasma sword I once again activated it and got ready as the fey man charged up his fist directing it right in front of me,just before it was able to hit me I quickly swung my sword upwards making the fey man momentarily freeze in place as he looked at me wide eyed.

Disabling my plasma sword I looked at him and his frozen look the fist of his was only a few centimeters away from me and just stopped like that the fey man was pale without a doubt and after another second a single drop of blood feel down from his wrist with it followed his fist towards the ground splattering blood everywhere.

-Arggghhhhh !

-At least your painful shout is the same as anywhere...

I commented not to him,but to myself as I watched the grip onto his cut off hand trying to stabilize the bleeding as he curled up on the ground with tormenting look on his face that told me all about the pain he just felt.

Cutting his hand may have been slightly unreasonable and also thoughtless,but I already concluded that he wanted to kill me and from his appearance I could guess that this guy was some kind of bandit meeting me in the middle of the forest made him probably that I was a easy target...but look who is curling on the ground now...

I thought disdainfully as I watched him crawl and moan painfully as he tried to recover his cut off hand and just as he was about to grab it I stepped on his severed hand making him quiver as he looked up at me fearful my eyes might have shocked him even more since he was now looking at me in a whole new light.

-Where.Is.A.Settlement. ?

I asked moving my hands to try to make him understand what I was saying,but all I got in return was...

-Uhwaa ?

My face turned blank for a moment as I sighed again...this will really take a while won't it ?

The suns were up high and shone brightly even though that was the case the area around me was cool and breezy,but nothing to be bothered about.

Looking ahead I pulled out a map from the clavicula,I had acquired it from the bandit a few minutes ago while tussling with him to make him understand what I wanted,I didn't kill him though since I didn't need to really,I already knew that there were times you kill and you don't kill no,need to be overly cruel.

Anyways the map I was holding was pretty detailed and showed the entire area of this region looking at it I quickly found a proper path and started navigating myself through it,the map had writing on it,not something important really since I couldn't understand it,but also something reassuring that solidified the fact that I had somehow teleported to a different realm of existence...

-I need to find a circle..

I mumbled to myself while following the path and holding the map in my hand...there seems to be a pretty big city up ahead of this road actually maybe I can find someone who can help me...but still I was slightly worried I didn't know the language to this place making me really restricted a few options in my mind.

After fiddling with the map a bit more I put it back into my storage while observing the path I thought of hestia and the rest while doing this,how they are reacting right now maybe they are searching for me ? I wondered and I was probably right which elevated my mood somewhat.

-Awruuu ! Awruuu !

Someone shouted out..hearing the shout I quickly turned around with my plasma sword in hand...there was a good reason why I was this cautious my first time with people here was not very good if you imagine.

When I turned around to see who it was,I surprised to find a fey man sitting on a medieval looking caravan waving at me...

Its not that the person surprised me rather it was the thing that pulled the caravan surprised me...it was a giant lizard...the lizard was crawling with its four legs moderately fast too pulling the whole caravan with it easily its eyes and body were simply reptilian and sometimes you could see it sticking out its long tongue as if it was slurping something...

I put my attention back towards the guy instead of the lizard and tried to identify him,without a doubt he was also a fey his ears were long,but what was different from this fey were his better clothing which was a ornamented blue robe and his non-existing intent on murdering me.

Feeling a bit weirded out still I decided to wait for him to approach he continued to wave at me strange calling me with his language,obviously he was trying to pull me attention towards him which he did.

After a few seconds he finally came over and stopped his caravan right next to me,the lizard looked incredibly intimidating up close,but I tried to not stare at it too much and just looked at the fey man who had a friendly look on his face...glancing at his caraven I noticed that it was a bit colorful with pictures of sparks,bottles and crystal balls there was also something big written on it,but I had no clue what it said,but I guessed that this guy was probably a merchant.

-Wurkin walakir adamsria !

The man said to me,but I simply shook my head and pointed towards my mouth telling him.

-Sorry mister I can't understand you..

This small exchange continued for a few minutes until the merchant finally understood that I didn't speak his tongue,he thought for a few seconds until finally he came up with an idea and turned back towards his caravan rummaging was inside of searching for something.

I stood where I was and waiting for the merchant to do something I had a small feeling that I would somehow gain something from this exchange.

And I was sort of right,the merchant came back up and showed me a wooden box,I didn't understand what he wanted and he caught up on it and quickly opened it revealing a white ring that strange engravings on it...the engravings on the ring were very familiar to me those were the exact same ones I had found on my plasma sword...

The merchant prompted me to wear the ring I looked at his expression first to see if he had any malicious intentions with this action,but I soon realized that the merchant didn't harbor any harm to me so I took the white ring and put it on slowly...

-Can you understand me now ?

Someone said the words english even making me surprised as I looked up again towards the merchant,he smiled at me very satisfied of himself and spoke again.

-I am asking you if you can understand me ? Well say something is the ring working or not...

He asked now a bit anxious for some reason,but I quickly snapped back into myself and nodded my head,magic ?

-Yeah...its working...thanks so I take it you want something in exchange of this ?

I asked going straight to the point the merchant also nodded and said.

-Yes,of course thats why I showed it to you,I can see that your a foreigner to this part of the land your clothing and your appearance simply says that...

The merchant commented,but I didn't reply and just asked him.

He replied quickly his price made me immediately confused as I didn't have a single clue what he meant by talons...dollars aren't going to work are they ?

The merchant seemed to have caught onto my problem and tried to take the ring back I quickly put my hand away and tried to negotiate the item was a bit too useful for it to go away,the merchant was clearly displeased by my action.

-How about we trade ? I give you this in exchange of this ring ?

I quickly said pulling out my phone,currently I had only my wallet my phone and my plasma sword in my possession the phone was already useless to me giving it away wasn't a problem and the numbers on it were also directly imprinted on my mind.

Seeing me approach from a different angle of the deal made the merchant even more displeased since he clearly wanted money over items,but when I showed him the shiny black smart phone of mine his interested clearly leaked watching it.

-What is it ? If its something useless then I am not trading young man !

The merchant stated clearly so I quickly demonstrated him what it was by swiping the screen and opening the menu to the phone the merchant was clearly surprised by it and watched curiously,he didn't know it was a phone it seemed.

-This is a device that can capture pictures and also record things such as voices or events its called a phone...

I explained the merchant was now really hooked listening to me my demonstration on using the camera also convinced it mightily,but in the end he was still a bit hesitant not sure if he should trade it seeing the hesitation made me slightly perplexed as I offered him another deal that would both benefit us.

-I will give you this and my protection service until the next settlement in exchange of the ring here that you gave me how about it ?

Hearing my second offer made doubt show on the merchant face as he asked me.

-Young man it is true that I may be unprotected right now,but I am capable myself and on top of that you don't strike me as a warrior how about you demonstrate first and I judge then ?

He requested from me his request was pretty simple in my opinion as I smiled at him and snapped my finger in front of him,seeing this action made the merchant confused,but just as he was thinking that he realized that the branches of the trees next us were falling down furiously he looked to his side a bit stunned and realized that the tree was now completely naked the branches were all cut clean and how it happened puzzled the merchant when he suddenly realized something looking at me with a slight paled expression on his face.

-So you want me or not ?

I asked smiling.
