I gnashed my teeth as i listened to the prophecy of my so called end,looking towards the oracle almost hatred displayed in my eyes i felt the urge to yell out and call it a lie but couldn't as the oracle never lied in her prophecies she could be wrong sometimes though,but those times were minor mistakes and not the full picture because even the oracle wasn't able to see the future in its full picture only the parts that were important could be seen and one of which was told that my death would be in the hands of a youngster which was the son of my little brother...

With that said the oracle which was the old lady stopped talking as the light in her eyes dimmed down showing that her prophecy had ended letting me think about the words she had just told me about.

Joanna the wife of my little brother aidan was currently pregnant and expecting her third child which aiden hoped to be a son wishing it to be his successor to the family head waiting expectingly for the birth to come...but now..what do i do ?

I pondered as i thought about the current state of situation...i was dazed and unconsciously had grabbed onto the picture of my dead wife almost crumbling it into a ball making me flinch for a moment as i quickly straightened it up looking at it more properly...my mind easily calmed as i looked at the shining smile of my long since lost wife she had a summer white dress and a straw hat making a fun pose for the camera...the memory of this picture was freshly imprinted onto my mind as if it was only yesterday we were going on our honey moon making it also the same day when god took away my melony...

Feeling slightly emotional i stroke the face of my wife with the thump of my finger feeling the cold smooth surface of the paper getting reminded that i would never feel the warmth of her skin once again was a heavy hit on its own as i felt the never ending pain in my chest strengthen and with that my resolve.

Thinking that it was already enough i folded the paper and put it inside of my robe looking straight towards the oracle not saying anything as i got up from my seat and was about to leave the temple until.

-Sulivan there are a lot of reasons why the dead should stay dead...be it to move on onto their next life or to ease their minds it is the law of nature which we all have to accept..

I snapped as i gripped my fists yelling at the old woman without any evident reason to do so i probably looked like a mad man,but i didn't care even if my desire was selfish and idiotic i would go through with it.

Hearing me shout like this the old woman also stopped talking while narrowing her eyes onto me she told me in a very cold tone.

-There world isn't fair sulivan out of all people you should know that very well i just want to tell you that through your acts be careful not to hurt the people you are still close to your actions can have consequences you are bound to not be able to withstand i remember that dragging people down with you wasn't the way you used to do things in the past wasn't it sulivan ?

Her words were like a cold hard arrow piercing through my heart every word was spoken in a reasonable true manner on itself showing the wisdom of a true oracle she was being able to make me lose my composure so fast was also very petty of me,but still...i decision was firm and with that nothing would be able to stop me from my goal not even aidens son.

With that thought alone i was already calm and turned my back towards the oracle starting to leave the temple with my last parting words since this would be the last time both of us would meet like this.

-You just make sure that no one knows about this matter between you and me you have no other concern than this so mind your own business old lady tend to your grandchildren then me

I said with a voice of pure disdain as i walked towards the door opening it almost about to go through,but still hearing her voice behind me.

-Oh i will secrets only concern the people who are mend to hear them i am just making sure that you know the consequences of your acts it wasn't that i as tending to you little one i was tending to the others through you

I closed the door hearing those words swimming inside of my head as i considered them once immediately dismissing them making my way towards the senjin main house where both my little brother,joanna and their children lived.It was a house were previously me and my wife used to live,but now things had changed since i secluded myself into research and stepped out of the head position retiring to have more research time.

Since the position was empty i had decided that i would give it to my younger brother,at the time i was too mental unstable because of my wifes death,i didn't want my mood to influence the house in any bad view in critical moments finally coming into the conclusion of giving my position to my younger brother who at the time was already married  with one daughter living happily as his career for a mage in hire was sprouting very successfully.

When i told aiden about the circumstances of my sudden retirement he didn't object or refuse like he did the first time i told him to accept the position of the house head instead he minded my own personal health and train of thoughts and accepted my request without a second thought.

It is truly ironic how things end up in a span of 10 years...i even now remember when aiden was only 12 when he told me about his big dream to become a traveling magician for hire all over the world..he had that big dream of becoming someone famous and didn't want to take the responsibilities to become the next house head honestly said there was never a friction between me and my little brother we were both very close to each other over the years even thought i was 2 years older then him so to say and now things are different i am traveling the world for my studies while aiden is looking after the house...priorities change over time so do the people we know and talk with,actions are only small triggers to major events while the annoying time you had with you loved ones turned into the memories you treasure the most...so thats why i will never ask for forgiveness for what i will do even from my own brother since hate will be something i will carry not harness.

Those were words that i had long since imprinted in myself when i sat beside the death bed of my loving wife...it had been over 2 or 3 years since her death and my goal was still the same since that day with my research growing bigger then ever since day one with dreams and nightmares about my oh so called future.

-wahhhh !

You could hear the sound of crying as the baby was wrapped inside of a warm towel looking red and pink a bit disgusting,but thats just how every human was when they get born of course.

-He is beautiful...

Joanna said with sweat drenched on her face you could see that she was throughly exhausted by the pure labor she had just gone through it was incredible how she was able to shrug it off as if it was nothing just looking at her child.

-let me see let me see ! ughh its ugly !

-yeah mom you lying its ugly !

Both of the girls said nonchalant as they looked at the baby making weird faces while calling it ugly which was not far from the truth,but nothing to be concerned about.

-Shhss girls he can hear you alright i don't need two jealous girls to bring down his self esteem i am sure that he will a handsome man just like your father so be quiet and let me rest for a bit

The mother gave a evenly scary glance towards the girls warning them and also making them go quiet as she snuggled up with her new born son with a very happy expression her face.

-I came ! is it over already ? is it a boy or a girl someone answer me !

Looking to the left you could see a half panicked aiden walk into the room his attire was that of a white business robe showing that he was  in the middle of a meeting when he got informed of his wifes sudden birth.

-He is a boy fancy pants

I teased him as he looked towards his wife with a very happy and loving expression on his face not bothered to rebuke my comment on his attire.

-haha ! finally !

Aiden cried in happiness as he got close to his wife looking at his son who had raven black hair like him eyes shut it was also starting to sleep in joanna's arms looking very peaceful.

The two girls also looked excited getting closer to their parents looking at their newborn little brother.

I still stood at my original position watching these 5 the scene in front of me was that of a beautiful family greeting their newest member to the world,it was a scene only a few times a man could pull off and something to be proud of.

It was a shame that i wasn't in his place now.

I thought as i activated the magic spell on my left hand invoking the  massive freezing spell i momentarily stopped any movement in a range of 10 km's in radius not really stopping time but just movement and sensory directions.

The spell was a rank 10 spell and was called dimensional freeze using the spell took large amounts of effort and the effect would be only 3 minutes and nothing more so i needed to act as fast as possible.

I walked up towards the family picture feeling very guilty about myself as i took the baby in joanna's arms and replaced it with another baby that i had prepared before hand the age was only 1 day old and i had disguised it perfectly well making it look like a newborn through a untraceable spell the appearance was also strikingly similar which wasn't surprising since both of them were new borns and because i was delicate about my selection when i thought about this.

It took me a total of 3 weeks to completely think this through i had considered a lot of ideas one of them ranging from the straight killing the child from giving it to another couple,but all of those ideas were without a doubt too risky.Death wasn't a option the oracle said that death would only strengthen him so doing it wouldn't accomplish anything giving him to another couple was also not a option since he could unknowingly cultivate and someday make the prophecy come true no...i needed something permanent something that not even the greatest minds in the world couldn't escape from...solomons prison was the choice.

I had already everything worked out and discussed about the plan ordering that the child should never be killed or die and live the rest of his live in the prison where he would age old and die old anything after that wasn't my concern my payment for this service was  quiet a lot,but i judged that it was worth the investment as i walked onto the platform where a shady looking old man with a red robe stood on it he had a crimson red robe clad on his body and a book chained on his hip faintly dangling it as he noticed my arrival and looked at me his gaze only lasted for a few seconds until he looked towards the child i was holding...there was a wide smile on his face which was neither greed or amusement...no he was looking at the baby as if he had found something that he just needed.

-well well well it is time now is it ?

The shady old man said with a croaked voice as he made his way towards me not being able to see my face since i wore a mask to hide it which seemed like it was unnecessary since he was just looking at the baby not meeting my mask to the slightest.

-I expect you to follow the request i had given mister so lets end this unnecessary and be done with it..

I wanted to finish this as fast as i could staying any longer was dangerous.

The old man didn't say anything but agreed without speaking taking the baby gently onto his arms as he started floating towards the sky to where the prison was located...i had tried to investigate this old man,but i never found anything on him which was just strange on its own and also a reason why i chose him it was a matter of business which he didn't seem to have with anyone but me...

Looking at the disappearing silhouette of the red robed old man i felt large amount of regret and guilt seep through my body as i whispered quietly.

-I am sorry...

With those words i quickly left the area thinking that now it would be all right...i could have never been more wrong on how i had gone with this problem now that i thought about it.
