CHAPTER TWELVE

In the month leading up to the auction I started implementing the plan I had. The plan wasn’t finished but the beginning of the plan was and it went like this preserves what I have for later. That was what I wanted to accomplish and to do that I needed someone to be in charge of my interests. Lucky I already had someone who would fit the bill perfectly or so I hoped. I still had to do some research on the admiral considering she never told me her name. I still had a good feeling about her but she was important to my plans so I would need all the information I could get about her. So I took out the pad I had in my room and spoke to ship.

Ship was orbiting Vikra now that Jacob was dead and that was why when all of this was finished I was going to disappear. But before I went and disappeared to take revenge I had to make sure I had a future to return to. Because of that I had to make sure the businesses I acquired didn’t fail. There already was no one really leading them for close to three years it couldn’t go on like this. He businesses were losing money and that couldn’t continue to happen so I had to put someone in charge. Which was why I needed to have ship find out all the information about the admiral.

Since that was glitz take some time to accomplish I was going to have to raise some money I only got about five hundred million dollars out of the five businesses I bought. So I decided to sell my stake of Goron’s company. It was doing very well now that everyone was rebuilding those planets that were bombarded. But the question was who to sell it to and the answer to that was quiet easy. I would sell it to Goron if he wanted it. So I had ship send Goron a message about selling my stake.

There was a little back and forth with Goron but he agreed to meet me on the lycanthrope capital world. The reason to meet there was because that’s where I was going to be for the next few days and there was no reason for him to know where I really was. That was considering I thought he wasn’t giving me the money that was owed to me. So instead of making a big deal about It I was going to sell my stake in the company back to him for a nice profit. From there I would have the money to hire a few other peaple to handle my concerns and interests.

The next day I took a hovercraft up to ship and started my journey to the capital of the lycanthrope home world. The capital city’s name was Amarok it was the biggest city in all the lycanthrope empire. It was fifty square miles and there was still room to expand. There were multiple sections to the capital with each one serving it’s purpose. One section was the royal section and that was were the royal family lived it was two square miles. On the property was the main royal residence plus a lot of smaller houses for visiting families or royal guests. Another section of the city was for government buildings. Those included the military, law enforcement, intelligence and the royal court. This section wasn’t so big but it served its purpose of being secure. Another section was the business section this section had all the office buildings of businesses. Including were accountants lawyers and other’s. Then there was a manufacturing section that was were a lot of companies had factories. Then there were residential sections there were a few of them because different sections had different residents. Meaning some sections had higher valued buildings for peaple that were more successful.

Throughout most of the sections there were restaurants and shopping districts to get what you needed.

The first thing I did when I got to lycanthrope was get a hotel room. I got the penthouse in one of the more expensive ones for the extras. Being more privacy and extra security around. Which is something that I was much more concerned about now that Jacob wasn’t always watching my back.

After settling into the hotel penthouse I went to find a law firm. I already did some research and narrowed it down to three. I was looking for one that wasn’t connected to any of the clans,packs or families. I wanted an independent law firm so like that there would be less chances of a leak.

So I went to the first law firm on my list and right when I walked in I knew it wasn’t for me. The place was to flashy everything was expensive from the floor boards to the couches. The place looked like they were trying to show that they were the best and that wasn’t what I was looking for. I was looking for a firm that knew they were the best and didn’t have to prove it. So before anyone could approach me I turned around and left.

The next one I went to was a block away. I went in to the building and asked the receptionist if I could speak to a lawyer. She told me to sit down on one of the chairs off to the side and someone would be with me shortly. So I sat down and waited for someone to come speak to me. Someone finally came and got me and he was some lawyers assistant he brought me up to someone’s office and asked me to wait there. I ended up waiting another half hour on top of the half hour that I already waited when I had enough. So I got up and headed to the elevator and headed down.

Once out of the building I headed to the last law firm on my list and to be honest this was the most promising one. Even though it was the smallest law firm it looked like they would be the best fit. They were a new firm but so far have been very successful and from what I read about them I thought they would go good with what I wanted.

I was surprised when I got to the building that had the law firm I was going to. It looked like a older building that most companies didn’t want to use but if you’re small and don’t have a lot of money it works. But what surprised me was that the law firm only took up half a floor in the building. Which meant that the firm was smaller then I believed. But it was the last name on my list so I wasn’t walking out anytime soon.

I approached the desk at the front of their office and asked to speak to a lawyer. The guy behind the desk told me to sit down at a chair and he would let some one know I was here. I waited about five minutes until this older gentleman approached and told me to follow him.

He led me into a office and told me to sit down then he sat down.

So my name is Kaltor and I’m a lawyer here in this firm. So what is it that we at this firm could do for you.

I liked this place so far and for some reason I especially liked Kaltor. So I decided to get right to the point and tell him why I was here.

What this law firm could do for me is take me as a client and represent me in matters that I wish. I would like the firm to draw up agreements and advise me in law related matters.

This firm can definitely help you out with that so let’s get you signed up as a client. With that I started the process of endless signatures. Once that was done we started discussing what I wanted.

Which was five hundred billion from Goron for my twenty percent of the mining company. I also told him to find me a stock broker to give some money to. That’s when I learned why he only had half the floor when I thought he had the whole.

I know of a stock broker that’s just starting her firm and is looking for clients. It’s actually on the other side of this floor. But I have to warn you that the owner is my sister.

Is the fact that she is your sister why you recommend her to me as a stock broker.

No she was the top of her class when she graduated and she has been very successful as of late but she is looking to expand. So I think you would both benefit but as your lawyer I have to tell you that my opinion might be bias. What you do with that information is completely up to you. But if you would like to use her as your stock broker we could walk over there now and check it out.

I told Kaltor that I thought it was a excellent idea to go check out his sisters firm. So we headed across the floor to check it out.

There were only about ten people working and it looked like a small place so I understood why Kaltor’s sister would need money. But this was something that I would want to discuss by myself and bring Kaltor in to finish the deal. But first I would have to speak to his sister. The reason for that was it looked like she had such a small firm that it would be easy enough for me to become the only client or take over. That would allow me to do stuff through the firm without other customers hanging on my coat tails.

Kaltor I think this might work but I want to speak to your sister privately. So Kaltor pointed his sister out to me. He was about to walk over and interrupt her when I stopped him. His sister was sitting in the back of the room right when you walked in. I was able to see what was on her computer screens and it looked like she was busy so I stopped Kaltor. While we waited I watched what Kaltor’s sister did and from that I would base my decision on whether to hire her or not. So far everything looked good but watching Kaltor’s sister work was convincing and I decided I wanted it all. I wanted her to only work for me like that her full attention would be on making me money.

Which is kind of selfish but I could feel that I would go missing for long amounts of time. So to counter that I wanted to make sure I had the best peaple working for me. Like that there would be nothing to worry about.

When Kaltor’s sister was finished she got up and turned around and that was when she noticed us. She said hi to her brother and stuck out her hand and told me her name was Jaltor. I winced when I heard that because it was a very uncommon name. When she saw me wince she said her parents thought it would be funny if she had a similar name to her brother.

Once that was over Kaltor told her why I was here. She said we could discuss stuff in her office with that she was heading away. Kaltor told me he would see me later and with that he headed back to his office. So I quickly caught up to Jaltor and followed her to her office. Once there she showed me to a seat on a nice office chair to sit in. Once I sat down she went to what looked like a fridge and pulled out two bottles. When she sat down on the other side of the desk she handed me a bottle. When I looked at it I saw it was water so I opened it and took a sip.

Ok you are here looking for me so why don’t you tell me what it is that you want.

Well I’m looking for someone to take the money I give them and concentrate on making it grow. But making it grow in the right places is what I’m looking for. So how about you tell me what you think about what it is that I want.

Well as far as I can tell you are just like everyone else that’s out trying to make money. Everyone wants to make more then they have and if they don’t the aren’t normal. But there was something interesting that you said and that was that you wanted the money to grow in the right places. Most people the right places is where it will make the most money. But when you said it it sounded more like you had ideas where the right places is. So why don’t you tell me what it is that you think the right places are.

Well I would love to explain it to you but there is the slight problem of you not working for me. So let’s speak about something that would solve that problem then we could get back to your question and answer any other ones that you might have.

So from what I saw it looks like you could use money for your firm. I’m willing to provide it but I want you to work for me only I don’t want anyone hanging on to my ideas. Or if you would prefer that I buy the whole firm and you become one of the businesses that I own.

I know that this is going to take you some time so why don’t you think about it and when you decide to go speak to your brother. He will give the information that I leave for you if you accept.

With that I got up and showed myself out. Before I left I signed a few more papers for Kaltor. Once that was done I headed back to my hotel. While walking back to the hotel it felt like I was being watched. So once I got to the hotel I packed up my stuff and signed out. Then headed back to my hovercraft and headed up to the ship.

After putting my stuff away I asked Ship to get us on the way back to Vikra. While we were on the way to Vikra I thought about the last stuff that needed to be put in place. I needed to make a video for Jaltor and send it to Kaltor. Then I needed to buy a ship building company and pick up the admiral and set her up. So I organized everything that needed to be taken care of into a list then headed to my room to go to sleep.

I got to my room got undressed and took a shower. After the shower was over I put on some pajama bottoms. I got very comfortable in light weight pants from when Pakas got me the martial arts instructor. He would make me wear light weight pants and I got to liking it. So that’s what I started wearing when I wanted to relax or go to sleep. After putting on the pants I went to my bed and asked Ship to shut the lights. Once the lights were off I quieted my mind and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up the next morning I went to the bathroom. Then brushed my teeth then went to get something to eat. After eating breakfast I started working on my list and the first thing on it was to speak to the admiral. The last time we spoke she gave me her private com channel because she thought she would be out of a job soon. So I used it to call her.

Hello Wolf why you calling so early in the morning.

Well I think it’s time that we got moving on the plan to build a space station.

Ok so what do you need from me.

Well I’m going to pick you up so tell me where you are. Then once on the ship we are going to discuss a few things and make a few decisions.

Well I’m at the admiral hotel so I will meet you at the hovercraft port on the roof. but give me a few minutes because I have to pack first.

How long do you need to pack.

I will be ready in fifteen minutes I didn’t really unpack.

Ok I will meet you there.

After speaking to the admiral I went to where the hovercraft was and got in and headed to Vikra. As I approached the atmosphere I made contact with flight control. They gave me the headings I should take so I wouldn’t get into an accident. Then I made my way through the atmosphere to the admiral hotel hovercraft port.

There are only a few places to land on the roof so you weren’t allowed to stay if there was nothing happening by you hovercraft. So you stayed in the air circling waiting for your turn to land because it got busy. So before I even thought about landing I called the admiral. She told me she was heading to the roof now. So I got in line for a place to land on the roof.

It took a few minutes but I landed and lowered the back ramp and went to help the admiral with her stuff. Once the admiral was on I went back to the front of the hovercraft and started making the way back to the ship.

The as I wanted to start speaking right away but I had to slow her down because I wanted no interruptions once we started talking. So we spent the whole way to ship in silence after that.
