Mitch watched with bated breath as the jet emblazoned with Frontier Guild's insignia descended from the clouds. He and his students had managed to hold their own so far against Darkholme's corrupted forces. But they desperately needed reinforcements if they hoped to shut this base down for good.
The loading bay door opened, and a platoon of armored soldiers leapt out, mystic rifles blazing. Mitch allowed himself a fierce grin. "Alright team, the cavalry's here! Hit them with everything you've got!"
With renewed fervor, Mitch and his pupils attacked the base defenses in unison with Frontier's forces. Mike erected shields around their allies while Karen and Lea rained death on the enemy's front lines.
For a moment, it seemed they had gained the upper hand. Then Darkholme herself entered the fray, her body wreathed in murderous purple flames. With a primal scream, she slammed her fists down, sending a shockwave rippling outward that brought friend and foe alike to their knees.
"Fools! None can stand against my power," Darkholme declared, slowly levitating into the air, darkness coalescing around her. "Now bear witness to oblivion!"
As she prepared to strike them down, a cluster of RPG rockets suddenly exploded against the corrupted captain's body in thunderous blasts. Darkholme hurtled to the earth, howling in rage and pain. Standing atop a nearby tank, Bazooka specialist Duke gave Mitch a jaunty salute, launcher smoking.
"Cavalry's arrived! Let's crush this demonic scum!" Duke roared. Across the battlefield, cheers went up as the united awakened forces rallied and redoubled their assault.

Watching Darkholme flee their onslaught, Mitch felt overwhelming pride in his students. Together, they had held the line against impossible odds until help came. Now, unified for a righteous cause, nothing could stand against their combined might.
"You've all made me so proud," Mitch told his weary but grinning pupils. "Let's finish this fight!" With power users and army at his back, Mitch knew the battle's end drew near. Darkness would fall this day - the light's heroes had come together, and dawn was soon to break.
Kren watched with bated breath alongside Caleb and Amy as the elite PSA team shattered the plasma barrier surrounding the Aegis base with concentrated volleys of firepower. Inside, their mentor Astor was being held captive by the demon Vex. They had to find and save him!
"Alright, let's move in!" shouted Mitch Striges, leading his own students into the breached entrance. Kren exchanged resolute nods with his companions, and they followed close behind.
Together, the two teams pressed deeper into the corrupted facility, dispatching guards and automated defenses along the way. Though it seemed weakened, Kren could feel Astor's psychic presence growing nearer. Hold on, mentor, we're coming! he thought fiercely.
Eventually, they reached a fortified section deep within the base. On the other side, Kren sensed Astor barely holding on as Vex assailed his mind.
"Stand back!" Mitch warned. At his signal, the Ops blasted the door apart, and they stormed inside to confront the shadowy demon. Vex stood gloating over a crumpled Astor.
"More lambs to the slaughter," Vex sneered, gathering dark energies in his claws.
Kren stepped forward, eyes blazing. "We will defeat you and free our mentor, monster!" Amy and Caleb joined him, manifesting their weapons. Together they would overcome this evil no matter the cost.
Mitch met Kren's gaze and gave an approving nod before turning his fury on their foe. Before Vex could react, the combined teams unleashed their full might in a brilliant cascade of light and fury.
Kren unleashed every ounce of power within him, vowing to redeem himself for the harm he'd caused under Vex's deceptions. With Mitch's pupils supporting them, victory was at hand.
"Your reign ends here, demon!" Kren shouted over the din. "We fight with honor and light on our side!" If they triumphed here today, Kren knew Astor would guide them down nobler paths in freedom. That hope fueled Kren's spirit through the raging battle. Goodness would prevail.
