The group was gathered in King Théoden's council chambers, trying to come up with a plan to defeat Sauron. As they debated various strategies, Legolas, who was thoroughly drunk on miruvor at this point, had a brilliant idea.
"I've got it!” announced Legolas. “We should all dress up as giant orcs and sneak into Sauron's lair. Then, when he least expects it, we can all jump out and shout 'Boo!' at him!"
Pippen burst into giggles. He quickly covered his mouth with his hands.
Gimli muffled his own laughter with a cough and shook his head. "Ah, Legolas, I think that might not be the most effective plan. Sauron is not easily scared by a few costumes and a shouted word."
Aragorn, trying his best to keep cool, cleared his throat. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, Legolas, but I think we need a more...substantial plan. Something that will actually have a chance of defeating Sauron and his forces."

Éowyn spoke up, "I agree with Aragorn. Maybe we should consider using our strengths and resources to our advantage, rather than relying on pranks and tricks."
Merry nodded in agreement. "Aye, and what about when the Nazgul show up? How are we going to take them down with just a few jumps and screams?"
Legolas scratched his head and looked sheepish. "Well, I suppose you have a point there. Maybe dressing up as giant orcs could be the backup plan, just in case."
"How about we all charge at Sauron with axes and chop him to bits while singing a merry tune?" suggested Gimli.
Éowyn couldn’t help but laugh at the idea. She shook her head. "That's ridiculous, but at least it's a little more feasible than Legolas' plan. Perhaps we should prepare our forces to stall the enemy while a strike force goes for Sauron. What do you think about that, Aragorn?"
Aragorn sighed. It seemed like they were getting nowhere. “Let's take a break and reconvene later with some more ideas. And Legolas," he added, shooting the elf a pointed look, "I suggest you lay off the drink for a while. We need all of our wits about us if we hope to succeed."
The group dispersed, some still chuckling at Legolas' absurd suggestion. It was clear that they had a lot of work to do, but they were determined to come up with a plan that would actually have a chance of defeating Sauron and his forces.
