Save us

Zaryon didn't know what would happen, if he ate Tobi's arm.

He just knew, he needed blood.

No one was nearby.

His only course of action was to rely on the arm, laying on the floor.

He was disgusted that he had to resort to this sort of action, lowering himself like this.

Over sixty thousand years of life spent, on only one invasion, he thought.

His rage boiled over the top, as he ate away at the arm.

Energy like never before shot through him.

Tobi saw the energy like it was on fire, within Zaryon's body, but they weren't real flames.

Rings of fire crushed the ground simultaneously, with him as the epicentre, almost reaching Tobi.

His body steamed.

Everything around Zaryon caught fire.

Tobi braced himself as hot winds shot right past him, almost knocking him off his feet.

This was his gravest mistake, Tobi thought.

He never actually thought a piece of him, could make them stronger.

Zaryon let out an immense war cry, unable to suppress his new found strength.

Then he calmed down, controlling his breath as everything froze.

He laughed as he looked around.

Hysterically.

Tobi was absolutely stunned.

Zaryon completely covered himself in a sleek ice armor, leaving the joints with a light, frost padding.

"Isn't it about time you start begging for your life?"

He asked Tobi.

Tobi braced himself, creating a makeshift sword out of metal and dirt.

He tried putting on a brave face.

"I would rather bet my life, on defeating you instead."

Zaryon swung at Tobi from where he stood.

An arc of flames, cut through the ground, making its way towards him at sonic speed.

Tobi dodged to the right just in time, while returning back one of his own.

He had noticed Zaryon's flames were stronger, than before.

Zaryon dodged it as well.

Then started flanking towards him, trying to close the distance.

Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.

Over twenty golems rose from the ground, rushing Zaryon.

He cut them all down, with one horizontal slice.

Tobi started flying low to the floor, as the prince caught up, close to him.

Zaryon swung at Tobi, aiming to cut him down with one strike.

On instinct, he cladded himself in electricity and dodged to the left.

While he simultaneously summoned, a fast moving column at sonic speed.

Right under Zaryon's elbow, breaking his arm.

Tobi's sword went flying out of Zaryon's hands.

Zaryon's arm was limp and broken.

It started to heal instantaneously.

Tobi followed up by throwing a kick at his face.

He ducked and grabbed Tobi in a bear hug, then rocketed into the sky.

Soaring at sonic speed.

Tobi punched and smashed at Zaryon's head, with fire covered fists.

They reached a high enough altitude, passing by clouds and Tobi started to knockout.

Zaryon felt Tobi lose consciousness.

He let him go, falling to his death.

Zaryon powered up, gathering all the energy he could to his fist.

He used frost, to keep himself from overheating.

Tobi free-fell towards the ground.

He woke up after seven seconds.

While trying to get a grip on his surroundings, he panicked.

Zaryon propelled himself with as much flames as he could, reaching maximum new speeds (to him), aiming for Tobi.

Tobi created an ice armor, then added flames ontop to shield the impact, seeing Zaryon at the last second.

The punch was unstoppable.

Filled with his fiery rage.

It sent Tobi hurdling down, almost catching fire from air friction.

His temporary arm crumbled away.

The orange veins on his body disappeared.

He hit the ground with a resounding boom, creating a low earthquake in the vicinity.

A large crater formed were he landed, with him as the epicentre.

Half of his armor on his torso was destroyed, revealing burn marks on his chest and body.

His left leg's armor had been destroyed 2/3 of way off and the right only a third.

His boots were damaged as well.

Tobi faded in and out of consciousness, disoriented.

He turned his head to the side, blood coughed up out of his mouth.

He was bleeding from head to toe.

He felt a good amount of bones broken, through out his body and he could barely feel anything.

As pain shot through him late.

The World watched horrified.

Some people just could not believe what they were seeing.

Zaryon descended, but stayed afloat over Tobi.

"Don't blame me for your choices. You chose the hard way... As a matter of fact."

Realizing the world was watching, he looked around him and back up at the screen smiling.

Then yelled out loud.

"I think this whole World has chosen, the hard way!"

Zaryon continued, looking back at Tobi.

"You wanted to protect them right? I already have your blood, Father can just make more with that. Try and protect this planet from your powerless position."

He ascended back up a little higher, as high as a 24 story apartment building.

Zaryon formed an ice armor and kept it regenerating to keep himself cool.

He puts his right hand out and summoned a pressurized ball of fire, two meters in front of him.

It turned white hot and grew bigger by the second.

Tobi could still see him, from where he was lying down.

He was losing strength by the minute, but gathered enough speak into his comm.

"Sarah... I can't do this, I'm too weak. I can't move my body."

Sarah had been coaching him through the fight, as little as she could, to not distract him.

However she knew Tobi was down for the count.

She had already deployed over 250 medic androids, that were synthetic copies of her.

She could control them at anytime and can interchange with any one of them.

Zaryon noticed them breaking the skies and making their way Towards Tobi.

"This bitch, doesn't stop ruining my show doesn't she?"

He said to himself.

He pointed his left arm at them, while keeping his right building up the ball of fire.

Hundreds of fireballs sailed at the medic bots.

As this was happening, Sarah connected into the telometer on just the audio, the camera focused on Zaryon and the robots being destroyed.

She spoke back into Tobi's comm.

"Listen to me Tobi. You can't give up nor give in. Your brother, the world and your family are all depending on you..."

Explosions went off as the robots went up in flames.

Only fifty of them made it to the ground and started jetting their way, flying low to the ground, towards Tobi.

They were less than 500 meters away.

Sarah continued, "we have to win Tobi, there is no one else that can beat him. Save us!"

As she uttered those words, Tobi fell unconscious.

He opened his eyes, 10 seconds later.

There a medic robot with Sarah's face was kneeling beside him, smiling at him.

She had injected the adrenaline booster straight into his heart.

Then a ball of fire sailed from her right side.

Vaporizing her head off.
