Simon went first gear, caught Runa, and recovered before they hit the ground.
Runa grunted in pain, she looked towards her left arm.
It was dislocated.
Simon placed up two floating fireballs for them to see their surroundings.
He then noticed her in pain and asked her to brace herself, as he popped it back in for her.
She let out a low scream through a cloth he gave her from his belt.
She then grabbed a booster and immediately plunged the contents in her knee.
"You good?"
Simon asked.
"I'm still good to go."
She gave him a reassuringly weak smile.
"The plan has changed-"
He was cut off by a bright flash of electricity, as Galad appeared above them.
"Do you understand the consequences of attacking the royal family? We have come to bring you salvation!"
His voice echoed through out the plains.
"He's mad."
Runa looked at Simon, but he was unfazed.
He stepped forward and laughed.
"Monarchies are outdated. Let me guess, the old man gave you everything didn't he? You didn't have to work for anything, then you killed and enslaved those weaker than you to get stronger. Am I right?"
Galad rubbed his chin and pondered.
Electricity crackling all around him, keeping him afloat.
"Hmm, what's wrong with that?"
"Runa."
She knew when he said her name, he was getting serious.
She backed up and gathered large amounts of lightning holding it in the sky.
Simon's expression changed.
Rings of fire crushed the ground simultaneously, as the orange veins coursed through him even faster.
Streaks of silver popped up randomly throughout his hair.
"Nothing really, that just means I don't have to hold back."
Galad, didn't realize Simon would be hiding so much strength, however he didn't falter having full confidence in his abilities, they both lunged at each other.
Fists colliding sent shockwaves throughout the land.
Galad was shocked by how Simon was able to keep up with him, and each strike drained him of his life force, as Simon used gloves made out of blue fire.
Galad backed away to make some distance.
A massive strike of lightning breached the sky and struck him, giving him no chance to gaurd.
He yelled out in pain for a moment, then began to absorb the lightning.

Runa stopped, seeing it have no affect on him.
However Simon didn't hesitate with the chance Runa gave him.
Appearing in front of Galad with a swirling blue ball of fire.
"Globus Ignis!"
He struck the ball into Galad's chest and sent him flying as ball buried itself even further before exploding as he hit the ground.
Dust and rubble rose up to the sky, and the shockwave resounded for miles.
Runa appeared beside Simon.
"Let's take him out quickly."
"Right."
Lightning struck the epicenter of the explosion, then a line of electricity trailed quickly out of the smoke.
Galad appeared with a blur of electricity in front of them, kicking down at Simon with his full might.
Simon blocked it with both arms up, then they proceeded to throw a multiple blows at each other.
Simon was unable to keep up, receiving many strikes from Galad, but he knew he was doing a great deal of damage back.
Runa was blown back from the winds of them, trading blows.
She couldn't find an opening, but she felt powerless to do anything.
She trained so hard, yet she felt like she wasn't making as much progress as the others in the 2nd generation of Novas.
Before Galad broke to make distance, he slipped a ball of electricity behind Simon, without him noticing.
"Simon watch out!"
Runa started to say.
Galad smiled.
"Paralysis Overload."
Electricity raced out of the ball through Simon towards Galad's hand, shocking him with millions of volts.
Simon yelled out in pain, as he succumbed to a seizure, while Galad continued his attack, only stopping as Runa shot volleys of electricity at him.
Simon fell out of the sky, unconscious, with smoke trailing out of his mouth.
His nano bodysuit produced small nanites, to break his fall.
Galad turned his attention to Runa after watching Simon fall.
He intensified his energy output, making Runa shiver.
She pointed one hand to the sky and lightning breached the sky lightly touching her hand, as she drained the electricity.
"Static: Thor's Armour."
Electricity coated her body in place of her body suit.
She unsheathed her swords.
Galad smiled at the challenge.
"Can you entertain me for a bit?"
She didn't blink, yet he was too fast to follow, closing the distance in too quick of a time for her to react.
He punched her in the gut, sending her flying hundreds of meters away.
He caught up to her, punching her in the back as she coughed up blood.
She gritted her teeth and swung around with an arc of electricity.
He caught the blade and threw it away, then roundhouse kicked the other one flying, as she tried to follow up.
"Come on no weapons."
She braced herself with her hands above her head, as he started to beat down on her.
"Fight back with your hands warrior!"
She grimaced, each strike sending jolts and causing internal damages she could not handle.
She exploded out an electric barrier out of herself to push Galad back, but he held his ground.
He looked at her smiling from her struggling as she glared back at him.
"You will die here."
She smiled.
"If that's the case, I might as well do everything I can to stop you."
She raised her right palm up, then dropped it down facing him.
"Static: Yggrdrasil!"
All the lightning she had been building up in the sky struck him all at once.
A massive tree of lightning struck him, pushing her back, but she held on, maintaining her concentration.
Galad screamed in agony, but quickly regained his composure and started absorbing the electricity instead.
He placed one palm in front of him facing Runa.
"Eraser Beam."
A blast of electricity manifested forth out his palms, racing towards her.
Her attack kept him immobilized, but barely damaged him and made him stronger.
"Ignite: Hyacintho Ignis!"
Simon appeared in front of Runa at the last minute, placing his hands forward in front of Galad's attack.
Both of their attacks collided.
"You should have stayed down!"
Galad yelled over the lightning.
"Not till you're dead!"
Neither of their attacks broke the hold it was a stalemate.
Runa wished she could do more, she contemplated letting the lightning go, but if he escaped, they may not have the upper hand to go after him.
She pondered and pondered, for a moment as the two struggled on.
She watched Simon fighting for his life, then shook herself awake.
Now was not the time to feel sorry for herself, put all your cards on the table.
She gathered more clouds around and struck herself with more electricity than she could contain.
The tree got bigger and Galad writhed in pain.
"You bitch!"
Hundreds of volleys of electricity, manifested around him and sailed at her.
Simon could not protect her, despairing that she would be in trouble.
However, quick zaps of lightning dissipated them.
Her blue eyes glowed brighter as blue veins appeared on her skin.
Years of her life drained out of her as she willed the lightning strikes to keep up with his barrage.
The tree of lightning glowed bright blue and started to hurt Galad even more, breaking his concentration for just a moment.
Simon drew energy from all around him. Plants, animals and the even the Earth itself.
Then he gave one final push.
Breaking the stalemate.
The sight was spectacular as a perpendicular cross of and electricity connected.
Erupting a gigantic. bright explosion, incinerating Galad at the center.
Simon caught Runa who fell unconscious and flew as fast as he could to safety.
Third degree burns started to show up on his face.
