Atone

Over the skies of Australia...

Three Cerian ships had just descended out of camouflage.

They managed to stealthily use the commotion from the invasion of Dargan, so that their enemy forces would have less security where they planned to land.

The monitors in the command center at Beyond HQ blared, to warn of the incoming threat.

Sarah sent androids to dispatch the remaining forces, stationed on the Moon and on the Republic of Rennaya.

Back at Dargan.

"If what you say is true, then I've got a lot of questions to ask you."

Tobi said to her, finally gaining his composure.

Kiala sighed, then she let her rage take over.

"I've got, some questions myself..."

Small streaks of silver popped up in down her hair.

Purple veins raced through her body.

Sensing the danger, he went second gear as well.

"What makes you so special?"

She growls.

"What do you mean-"

She lunged at him, as he put both hands up to block her incoming punch.

The impact sending shockwaves throughout the field.

He took a deep breath, realizing this girl had some grudge against him.

Then he covered the unconscious Nova's in domes of ice and dirt and left ventilation to breath, as they both broke apart to make distance.

She summoned dark clouds together, striking herself quick sparks of lightning and held the charge.

"Why are you doing this?"

Tobi asked her.

She glared at him.

"Half of them died today, because you were too weak to stop this invasion. Six months later, while saving a civilian, you were assassinated by some unaffiliated top leaders, who were given technology by the children of Atlas, that had infiltrated Earth, during this invasion."

She pointed one palm at him and fired a few electric volleys.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

He formed dirt barriers in front of him at moments of impact.

"For your sake, my mother went to extreme lengths to bring you back to life and gave her life doing so."

Tobi was shocked by everything she had revealed.

Part of him didn't want to believe it, but he could feel her energy matched his.

A pill hard to swallow, he never thought he would have a child so early.

One that can blow up half a planet, too.

"Who is your mother?"

Kiala stopped firing and dropped her hands to her sides.

"Saphyra!"

She called out.

Saphyra landed down seconds later on a hovering platform, with an unconscious Sarah android and large coffin size box.

"Yes Kiala."

"Open it."

Tobi watched as Saphyra plucked out Sarah's core like she's done it before.

Then slice open the box with an exacto knife

Styrofoam fell out, revealing the face of an exact copy of future Sarah.

A copy of Kiala's mother.

A tear fell down her cheek.

Saphyra proceeded to place in the core into the future copy.

Sarah's eyes began to whir, like they did when she was first booted on.

She placed one palm out facing upwards and a nano tech parted ways revealing a lens that produced a hi-def holographic recording.

The recording showcased Sarah in a chair in front of the Beyond HQ's, which looked ancient.

The HQ seemed gloomy compared to what it looks like in the present.

"If you're watching this, it means I finally got my message to you Tobi..."

She smiled.

"First I want to apologize, I know I have crossed many boundaries and lines to do fulfill this mission, but I saw no other way to peaceful future."

She took a deep breath and shifted in her chair.

"Thanks to Nirro, I was able to have Kiala, my pride and joy. I love her more than anything else, and I hate to entrust such a mission to her, but you were the only person I could think of that she would be safe with. It was wrong of me to gamble their lives as well, but it was the only choice."

Her expression switched into a grim but faint expression.

"If Kiala and Saphyra are still there, that means the Nirro's Theory was correct and another timeline was created. Which means no change happened in our timeline. If that is the case, please take care of Kiala and Saphyra for me. They're my precious children after all."

She gave one last smile.

"Goodbye Tobi, Osei, Kalista and the Nova Division. I wish you luck on your adventure and make sure to never lose sight of your goal. Lastly Kiala, keep your head up, don't let your emotions rule you, blossom into the amazing woman, that I know you will grow to be."

She waved and the hologram phased out.

The future Sarah dropped her hands to the side, and finished downloading the files.

All forty million clones of Sarah and representatives around the Earth, Sonara, and Dargan, shutdown and stopped their movements, except the essentials.

Sarah in her new body, took a deep breath and looked around.

"What... What's going on?"

Saphyra looked at her.

"You're alive, Sarah. The future you, made this body for you... For the next step."

Sarah shook her head.

"There's no way, I would do all of this."

She looked at Tobi, who was staring in disbelief.

Then she looked down in shame, then launched into to sky, leaving cloud rings and disappearing.

Selvin Hykes tapped into Tobi's ear.

"Tobi, it's Selvin. All of Sarah's androids have shutdown. Markets are crashing and it's chaos."

"Got it."

Tobi responded back.

Saphyra looked at Tobi and Kiala.

"I think she'll need some time, to adapt to the situation. Anyways I'll be taking over all operations Sarah used to conduct, while she focuses on development."

She paused as her eyes started whirring.

She connected to the Prometheus and shot signals across the three planets.

Each of the androids that went offline, resumed their responsibilities.

She continued.

"Anyways, you guys should cease your family bickering-"

She froze in an ice and dirt dome, created by Kiala, who had one palm up facing her, then she turned her attention towards Tobi.

Glaring at him, with a face full of anger.

"Now do you understand, what you put my mother through."
