"Look what you've done to my arm."

Stresci's voice was full of anger.

She wanted to rip Koji to shreds.

Her arm took its time reforming what had been cut off.

The pair had recovered from her earlier attack with ease and prepared themselves for her arrival.

It was dark, however the Moon and stars kept their glow, with occasional flashes from drones keeping tabs on the situation.

Sarah had developed night vision contact lenses specially made for combat and that operate at the users will.

So Koji and Sofia could see her clearly, furious and gathering a mass amount of energy.

Koji stepped forward, sheathing his sword.

"You've made a grave mistake."

Stresci, looked at him curious with a curious expression.

"Oh? How so?"

Dark clouds started to gather, as electricity crackled all around them.

"You've gotten in the way of our mission and I'm in no mood to play around with you."

Stresci started to laugh as thousands of golems rose out of the ground all made out of stone and iron.

A sandstorm began to stir.

"Then, what are you going to do about it?"

He went straight into second gear.

The wind pressure from the energy he was releasing blasted the sand back and away from him and Sofia, who also had to brace herself.

She covered herself in a light flame armour to protect herself, she knew something big was coming.

Stresci felt the sudden danger and jumped into a stone platform to create some distance.

Then she ordered her golems to charge them.

Koji raised one hand above his head then dropped it down facing her.

"Catatumbo Lightning."

Thousands of lightning strikes, struck the golems down simultaneously, following up to her in a humongous tree of lightning, constantly zapping her and immobilizing her.

Her screams echoed through the night plains, as Koji held his hand in place.

Thousands of years drained of her.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

A massive golem rose up and grabbed her out of the attack, but Koji didn't let up, pointing at it.

As the golems was crumbled away, it threw a figure away from it, into the distance.

"You're not getting away."

Koji disappeared with a blur.

Sofia sighed.

"He never slows down."

She flew off after them.

Koji caught up to Stresci flying away, lying down on a rock.

He appeared above with an electric blur, then he unsheathed his sword and stabbed down, impaling her.

"Static: Uneri."

A large electric explosion, erupted as they hit the ground, with her as the epicenter.

She screamed once again and coughed up blood.

"Don't kill me! I'll give you anything you want."

She looked up at Koji, who was looking back down at her in disgust.

She looked back down realizing he wasn't going to show any mercy.

"Brother! Help me! Someone help me!"

Sofia landed near them, just in time to witness the situation.

"They won't be able to hear you from here. I'm sure, many of your victims begged for their lives, the same way. Unfortunately, just like them, no one is coming to save you."

Koji twisted his sword as he poured in millions of volts.

Then he drew his sword out, and pinpointed her core in her head and aimed for it.

Stresci, quickly summoned a steel plate to protect her head and a an iron golem rose up from the ground, behind Sofia, grabbing her.

Sofia yelled out, hating herself for dropping her guard.

"Let me go, or I'll kill her."

Koji was still trying to push through the plate, but he looked back for a single moment to see Sofia taken hostage.

Sofia raged trying to explode the golem off of her, but the golem held on, repairing itself constantly and squeezed tighter.

"Let her go!"

Koji yelled at her.

"Let me go first."

Stresci said desperately.

Koji stepped back slowly still pointing her sword at her.

Stresci, smiled as she got up.

"Stay right there or I'll crush her in an instant."

Suddenly a figure appeared hundreds of meters above them, without them noticing.

The golem crumbled down as cracks appeared in the air, all around Sofia and the golem.

She felt heavy gravity, that wasn't affecting her.

She was free.

Stresci and Koji noticed what was happening and turned around looking at Sofia then up at the figure releasing the energy.

"Who is that?!"

Stresci yelled out as, Koji stared at the figure in disbelief.

"There's no way... she looks so different."

"Now Koji!"

He turned back to Sofia, who was flying and had a flaming rotating ball of fire in her hands, not hesitating.

He nodded as he face his palm up and a rotating sphere of electricity gathered instantly.

Stresci growled, looking at the both of them.

Then she jumped on flying platform, facing them while flying backwards.

She clasped both of her hands together.

"Metal Fortress."

Massive iron, steel and titanium beams flung to her, creating a massive layered dome to protect her.

"I hope you'll make better choices in your next life, if you have a soul."

Koji yelled out to her, then placed his palm forward.

"Static: Sandādoragon."

A lightning beam manifested into the shape of lightning dragon, as it shattered his sphere, and penetrated Stresci's dome like melted butter.

Stresci freaked out feeling her some shake and give way.

She produced four more steel walls as defense in front of her, then exited out of the back of the dome, running away.

Koji's beam destroyed the entire dome, yet he didn't stop, feeling her energy leave her defender, he frantically looked around.

Sofia had been keeping tabs on her.

Out of all the Nova's she was the most proficient and reading energy in base form.

She immediately located Stresci fleeing and pointed her attack at her.

"Ignite: Dança do Sol!"

Orange flames poured out of the ball, racing for Stresci.

Stresci noticed at the last moment and manifested a stone wall to block the attack.

The wall cindered, but held up, Stresci laughed.

Sofia grimaced.

"I'm not strong enough."

"That's why we're here together."

Koji said raising his beam to connect with hers.

The combined attack incinerated the last of her defense and engulfed her as she screamed.

"I'll kill you!"

Then there was a large explosion, lighting up the night, followed by an overwhelming silence as the last of her energy disappeared off the face of the Earth.
