Chapter thirty-six

Chapter thirty-six

Author's Notes:There is a fairly descriptive scene that is of the sexual nature in this one, near the lower-middle. Just to warn you guys. So if you dont  like that type of stuff, then after the second dividing line, skip to the end a bit.

Enjoy.

Ah, and some expressed concerns over Gehenna, her mistreatment  and her role. If others share this concern, rest assured that she will at some point get the treatment she deserves.

She wont be forced to be a villain character. She is musunderstood, yes, but i find that writing about her and her struggles regarding that offer a bit more emotions and depth to the story. I like her character, I like writing about her. So she wont be a villain at all.

Long rant in 3. . .2 . . 1:

Also, my follower count is rising faster than normal. like it rose a fair bit in a day. Weird. I wonder, is it because i have been getting a chapter out like every day recently?

Ah, now that Morrigan and Grace is back, it;s around the time to start the trip to the Higher Plains and also make that trip to see Solomon.  "Bout time, yup.

On another note, i was thinkning about how many chapters that are at now. i was like, "35 chapters. How the hell did it get so far, and what exactly happened to get to this point?" I thought this cause i could not remember much of how the story got to this point. Not much actually happened in the story yet. But after re-reading a few chapters, i thought that the pace was fair. I did want to get to the Higher Planes ages ago, but then i got it into my head to make the little side story of Gehenna and then Morrigan's and Grace's. . . It just didnt work out as i planned, but i think it is better for it.

that is all. Remember to rate, review and comment.  I will edit any errors i find later.

-----------------------

That night, Roland and Grace had a long talk together for the first time.

He told her of all the places he visited, all the planets he had traveled to. Their food, their culture, their people, their sights.

He spoke of cities surrounded by a mighty glass dome, he spoke of a planet whose golden leaves ignited like fire under a burning sun. Of places that lay forgotten in time and hid many wonderous secrets.

He told the girl of his adventures with his friends, the creatures they met, both hostille and friendly. He gave her a vivid description of every place he had seen, of every interesing sigjht he has seen, of the delicious foods he had eaten, of the people he met on the way and many other things that lit her eyes in excitement, hungering for the same adventure and freedom.

He left out parts of them, the parts too graphic and mature for a young girl. But she enjoyed his stories nonetheless.

No, she would have been happy merely watching him, merely knowing he was there.

She, too, told him of the times she shared with her mother, of things they had done and the friends she had made.

She told him how she had beaten beast a hundred times her size, speaking in pride. She told him of the times the two, she and her mother, had slept under the stars and how they laughed together. How happy they made each other with the sheer love and care they showed one another, to the extent that for them it was as if others did not exist.

And he felt a pain in his heart, lamenting all the time he missed of her life. He first steps, her first words, her first laugh, smile and all the other ordinary things she had done that seemed somehow special and irreplacable now that he had no chance to see them for himself.

He talked to her unceasingly, listening to her every reply,  taking in her every exoression and commit them to memory. Every move of her seemed so full of life and vigor that Roland found himself unable to look away from.

She was full of energy that would not be held back and father and daughter bonded quickly as they slowly but surely entered their own little world that could not be intruded upon, that made the mere thought of doing so seems sacriligious.

Morrigan sat to the side a bit away, a gentle smile fixed upon her face as she watched the two. Finally, she had not only her daughter by her  side, but her husband as well. And this made her feel a special sense of joy she had once thought impossible for her to have, at least in her years of lonliness and isolation from before she had met her future husband.

She was content to sit there and let them to to one another, to let them  know one another. For her, this was a dream she had long been hopeful for.

And it was better  than she had imagined.

The girl showed him the fox she had recently acquired. They stroked its fur and Roland healed the damage it had recieved at some point beforehand.

The talk lasted for a long time and in the end the girl was blurry-eyed and her head bobbed up and down as she attempted to stay awake.

She clutched his arm as her mother reluctantly decided to take her to their own room to rest.

The girl, held by Morrigan, looked back at the figure of her father sadly, a slight tear in her eyes as in her semi-lucid state she suddenly had the terrifying  thought that this may simply be a dream, one she was unwilling to let it end so soon.

But she lost the battle and passed out on her mothers arms, her face looking peaceful yet lonely at the same time.

Roland felt strange, and he found that he was very hesitant to let them go. But in the end he held back and let them leave.

Roland, after some time had passed, retreated to his room and took off his clothes as he forced his mind to still and fall asleep.

The next morning.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

Roland rolled in his bed, his mind not quite awake.

He was in his side for a long time, and in that time he gradually became aware of a foreign heat.

He slowly realized that his arm had, for some time now, wrapped itself around a large, soft object that felt good in his arm. He had pulled on the warm object and drew it closer to himself.

The heat it excuded was more pronounced now, and a sweet fragerance could be smelled.

He opened his eyes, awakening.

He saw a woman staring at him, her face mere inches from his own. His arm was under her, wrapping itself around her slender waist as her breasts, uncovered by any clothe, pressed against his chest. The nipples were a flower petal pink..

Her lips were a lovely peach colored pink,  full and seductive, as if inviting him to take a small bite.

The woman's eye were an entrancing red, looking at him with a small fire burning withing. A fire of what,  it was obvious.

Roland narrowed his eyes and spoke coldly to the beauty. "Morrigan. What do you think you're doing here?"

Morrigan replied with out a single change in expression. " Is it not a normal thing for a wife to share the same bed as her husband?"

He paused. Roland couldnt refute that. So, changing tactics, he said, " And how did you get past my barriers?"

She smiled. "Between us, there are no barriers that can keep us separated. You may not remember, but deep down you cannot bear to block my way. Any barrier of yours would let me through without exception. "

He shook his head. ":Morrigan, I told you, For our daughter's sake  I wont push you away, but I dont wish to continue the relationship we once had."

She laughed. " You wont push  me away? Well, that's all I need. You say you dont want me, but your body. . ." She paused. She made a quick movement. In a flash, she straddled his waist.

Not letting him have any time to retalliate, she leaned down and planted her lips upon his.

She tasted sweet, like fruit, and her tongue lightly teased his own.

Roland felt something then, a deep part of himself that she awakened which made him unable to make any thoughts.

He couldnt control his own body anymore.

He suddenly let out a low growl at the back of his thoat and his mind became hasy.

He sat up, his mouth still covered by hers.

Roland returned it with fervor, enticing her mouth open with his own tongue and  deepening the kiss.

He felt a hardening in his groin and Morrigan shivered in response,  her firm buttocks rubbing against him slowly, making him feel a pleasant ache.

She moaned, then, her mouth only briefly breaking away from his own before he sealed them again under his own initiative.

Roland broke the connection, moving his tongue over one of her erect nipples and biting into it, causing her to suck in a small breath. She enjoyed the sensation, feeling his hot tongue  on her body.

Morrigan continued to rub her crotch against his own,  a warm moistness suddenly lubricating him, ready.

She panted, looking at him with a slightly dazed expression. " . . .Your body still remembers me. . ." She finished her earlier sentence in a breathless whisper.

As he lifted her up and was about to enter her in truth, a voice was heard. A small knock was  issued.

"Roland?" The voice, Reina's called out. "Are you there? I needed to talk to you. About that training you gave me that one day, ever since then whenever I slept I would dream about these weird--Im sorry, can I come in? Ah, the door's open? How strange. . ." The door knob turned and the door was opened t oreveal a beautiful red-haired young woman with a troubled expression..

She walked in. "So, as I was. . . say. . .ing. . ." She froze

She looked at them like a scared animal. As she slowly comprehended the situation before her, her face slowly went a deep crimson.

Smoke could almost be seen coming from her ears. She let out an "ah" sound as she looked at them, embarrassed, unable to sy anything for several seconds. Finally, as they stared at her, she awoke from her stupor.

"S-Sorry f-f-f-for interupting! "

The next instant she disappeared and the door slammed shut behind her.

Morrigan looked annoyed. "Damn girl, so rude." She  said. She turned to him once more. " Now, my sweet, where were we?"

Roland regained his senses. Taking a long, calming breath, he replied. " Nowhere now. " He gently pushed her off him.

He frowned to himself. Just then, he really did lose control. Maybe she was right, maybe his body remembered what his mind didnt. Although, he did say he would act more like a husband and father. . . But in any case the mood was gone from him now.

He didnt actually feel any regret over losing control. He wouldnt truly mind continuing, especially when it was with such a beautiful woman as her. He was still a man after all. But after what just happened. . .

He chose to not think too much about it. " Where's Grace?"

Morrigan sighed. She cursed at that red-haired girl with all her heart.

"She's sound asleep. Dont worry, that girl doesn't just sleep, she hibernates and then wakes up with an ungodly hunger. She'll be up in a few hours."

Roland nodded and put on some clothes. He looked at the still-present Morrigan. "You can leave now. "

She sighed once more. " Ah, kicked out of my own husband's room after he tires of me. What a pitiful woman I have become. " She lamented sadly.

She made a mental note to smack the infernal young woman next time she saw her.
