AN: so I made a new story. Feel free to check it out
http://royalroadl.com/fiction/5893
I have been so obsessed with that story lately because of how simple and easy it is to write. And so I have unfortunately neglected this story because of that.
But I will be getting back to focusing on this story more now... so yeah, I'm sorry.
Oh and don't be mistaken. I don't really intend for Mercury to be a harem member. But I will admit that she will probably be *that* type of character.
I think you know what type I mean.
But at the very least at this point I cannot see myself writing about her and Roland having that type of relationship.
That said, I do like her character and enjoy writing about her. Maybe you guys don't like the way she acts or what she says or her personality, but try not to take that to heart.
Although honestly right now she and Gehenna are my two favorite characters right now...apart from Grace, who need to give more screentime. I haven't forgotten her, you know.
So yeah, I will be releasing chapters like I used to again.
I will edit out the spelling errors and such from this chapter later.
Remember to rate, review and comment.
PS: tell me what you think of her (mercury) so far. I feel you can pretty much tell her personality from the chapter.
-------------------------------
Just as Roland and Reina were just about done talking in the cave, a large hole in the sky appeared over the school.
The barrier was momentarily ripped open forcefully, causing a disruption with the portal.
Three figures, right before they came hurtling out, had been shouting various profanities at each other as they traveled.
"Sonuva Goddamn whore, Aries you little cun--!!" Mephisto was screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Damn bastard, why didn't you mention that he put up a fucking barrier?!" Mercury cursed at Aries, hoping secretly that his family jewels would shrivel and fall off.
Aries, in response, spoke out against the unjust accusations. "How the fuck was I supposed to know it was there?! Why didn't YOU know?! He's part of you, why didn't you think he would set up a barrier? Dont be pointing fingers at me, dammit!" He cried
"Shit, if my body gets scattered across the ether, when I come back imma make damn sure to kill you a thousand times over!" Mephisto threatened.
"Not before me. This damn bastard, trying to act innocent!"
Just then, their bodies were ejected out and they inelegantly fell from the sky, unable to control their descent at all.
-------------------
Roland and Reina were walking back when he sensed a certain oncoming danger.
Looking up, seeing the hole and the three objects that came spewing out, he acted quickly.
This was because he clearly felt that one of them was coming straight towards their location.
He grabbed Reina, ignoring the electric surge upon the small contact, and pushed her out of the way. Her body went out faster than lightning, but oddly she landed gently a hundred or so feet away. At the same time, a protective bubble around her that made her feel surrounded by Roland's presence.
It was a surprisingly comforting sensation .
Then she saw a bright flash as the strange object came bearing down on Roland a mere fraction of a second later, causing the ground he stood on to crack.
The force sent large stones outwards, some of them coming toward Reina's body. But within the bubble-like sheld there was nothing that could harm her. She heard two other large booms, wondering if there were other meteor-like things that had landed elsewhere.
When the dust cleared she approached, confident the shield would protect her from any danger. A large piece of land was gone, a giant crator in its place.
The dust slowly began to clear, and what she saw sent expressions of shock, confusion, and then slight embarrassment to glide across her face.
There, riding on top of Roland's body, was a woman.
And right now her clothes were so damaged that they may fall off completely at any moment.
Roland's clothes were in a similar state.
------------------------
At the moment he saw the strange ball of fire coming towards him Roland instantly sent Reina out to protect her from danger.
He would be able to do so even if she were beside him but there was an immense power that came from the object and he thought it best if she wasn't too near when he and the thing collided.
He quickly wove a barrier around her as he pushed, knowing there would be a good bit of debris.
When the object was merely a few feet away he clearly saw something that made him both a bit curious and alarmed.
Because in the instant he saw what was coming at him Roland felt a familiar energy pattern and a face faintly resembling a certain someone that he knew.
It made him react on instinct, catching the object as it hit him and weaving a quickly made barrier around them that would mitigate a good portion of the damage their collision would cause.
Sadly, though, the power that was coming off of her--for indeed this object was a woman--was enough that his clothing had become torn and burned as she hit.
----------------------
Mercury was currently naked. Well, not entirely but her clothes were in a sorry state.
Shit.
She liked that shirt.
Though she could create another later, it wouldn't be the same.
These were her first thoughts as she slowly came to her senses.
Being thrown out of a portal like that after it had been interfered with by such a strong barrier as Loki's was not something to sneer at.
She felt something underneath her. She couldn't see too clear with all this blasted dust, but she knew that she wasn't on the ground.
She got onto her knees.
What was beneath her was a bit too flesh-y to be rock.
Though it was hard, it was hard in a different sense than the ground.
She moved her hands over the thing beneath her.
It was a good feeling, she decided.
What was this...
Hmm...
A mortal? No.
Mortals couldn't survive a collision like this, one caused by having a portal such as the one she came in crash into a strong barrier set up by a god. Even a Celestial wouldnt survive that.
But this was definitely a person, she knew.
Male.
A pretty muscular male at that.
As the dust cleared a bit she got a better view of the person she was straddling.
Black hair, high cheekbones, a pleasingly hard body...
She looked at him closer.
And gasped.
---------------
Roland heard a small intake of breath from above.
Then a melodic, feminine voice.
"Well, fuck me." It said. Then, after a pause, "All. Night. Long." The voice sounded as if it were grinning.
Roland heard a strange, almost perverse, laugh.
Then a sudden groping sensation.
"Ara, is it my birthday already? Such luck! Hehehe, well then, thanks for the food~" Another laugh was issued.
Roland opened his eyes, seeing a face close to his with fully, pouty lips that were currently puckered and closing in on him.
The woman was brown-haired, a dark, lustrous shade.
Her curves were not as abundant and mature as Morrigan's own, but they were still soft and warm.
Though that warmth could simply be from the fact that the woman was literally on fire moments ago.
She was pressed against him, her silken hair lightly touching his face.
She held a hand to his chest, feeling him up.
Just as their lips were about to meet...
"Get off. Now."
This was, of course, Roland's voice.
The woman stopped. "Eh? Hey, hey, hey, you can't say that, you know? Simply lay there and accept what's about to happen." She spoke like a true felon. "Heh, such a good specimen is rare. And you seem pretty damn strong too! Like, insanely so. You could probably last all day and night, right ? Ha, this must be the heavens rewarding me for my good conduct!"
The words were full of adamant belief and evoked a feeling of self-righteousness
"Good conduct? Although you sound like a criminal..."
Roland couldn't help but say.
She sniffed. " Why are you talking so much when we are in such a good position here? Ai, you're ruining this beautiful moment." The woman sighed.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
She continued. "Alright, talk if you must, but can we start already? I have places to be, you know. Although I would like to enjoy this slowly, I have duties that need taking care of, you know. At most I can only delay for 5 or 6 hours, so we have to move this along!" Came the woman's unintelligible words.
No, the words were comprehensible but the meaning behind them was something he didnt know.
Places to be? Duties?
He didn't know about those, though he did think the woman was a bit funny.
Having apparently important nothings to do, yet saying she could delay for several hours...
"Although maybe at other times I would merely go along with this, I'm a married man now, so I can't. My apologies, but get the hell off."
He said firmly.
Roland was a bit regretful.
He hadnt know this mysterious beauty for even five minutes and already could tell she was the difficult to handle sort.
He did have a clue about who she was due to her familiar energy pattern but he thought he should at least try to keep their relation to a hard minimum.
These sort of women....
They made him feel tired, if truth be told.
Also, he thought if things continued this way then he would risk getting caught up in the woman's pace.
Roland could be very passive, going with the flow. But that was only when he simply didn't feel the need to do otherwise.Of course, he could never be considered a pushover.
That said, Roland felt this was one of the times when he shouldn't just coast through things, as the expression goes.
The woman pouted, the move somehow making Roland feel as if he were the one in the wrong.
He ignored that pesky feeling.
"Fine." She said, mournfully. " Welp, I'm not getting lucky right now, it seems. Maybe we can continue later. Ah, married, you say? Kinky. Me like. But let's shelf that for now. I need her permission first, right? Wonder where she is." She stood up suddenly.
She looked around, her eyes widening. "Hey, looks like we got ourselves a pretty little voyeur here." She grinned. "Enjoy the show? Heh, though it was cut short far too soon."
Then he noticed Reina, her face flushed, looking at the sheepishly as if she had been caught doing something she shouldn't.
The woman brought a fist down on an open palm in sudden realization. "Oh! This must be that wife of yours! I found her so easily?! Heh, cool." She blurted out.
The words made Reina dumbfounded, stammering incessantly.
Then mysterious beauty laughed. "So, you're into the sweet and innocent type, eh? Yeah, the pure ones are so fun to corrupt, right? Hehe~ This sister understands perfectly~"
"No, she's not my--" He began calmly, trying to explain, but was cut off.
"No need to be shy! Oh, but, she looks like she was really liking the development. Hm, should we continue afterall...? I mean, if she wants to join at some point I wouldn't mind. You know, since she's your wifey. But... Those two idiots are probably waiting for me...And I do want to go meet that lovely daughter of mine as soon as I can...Ai, what to do?" She looked miserable, indecisive.
She began to mutter softly. " This girl of his likes to watch, so continuing should be fine. But, ah, my daughter is waiting for me...though she doesn't know I'm here yet. Ai, look at him, our union must be something that heaven itself approves of! My daughter, I disappoint you. Your mother is ashamed. But...! But..! Ah, damn, forget it!"
She sighed heavily once more.
Reina averted her gaze as the dust has now cleared entirely.
So now there was nothing to cover the woman's nakedness at all.
Honestly, the sight was pleasing to the eye.
Roland was still faintly feeling the effect of the strange bond between he and Reina.
Which meant that he was ready to go.
Though, of course, he had considerable self control in most situations like these and wouldn't run wild.
Though there was that bit with Morrigan...which he still didn't know completely why it had happened.
Maybe his body itself did remember her on some level.
In any case, having this woman stark naked while he was in this state wasn't good.
Had he been under this same state without having Morrigan as his newly discovered wife, if he didn't have Grace to think about, he knew that he may have indulged in this woman's quite obvious intentions toward him.
Though he might have felt a bit cheap after.
"You can fix that, right?" He stood up and asked, grabbing a new pair of clothes for himself out of his Treasury.
He quickly changed right there, making Reina stare before she ocoughed and looked away.
The woman, however, had no such porblems with openly leering.
As for himself, he didn't care.
When he finished he wore a comfortable black suit Loki had once given him, one with a blue tie matching his eyes.
Roland forgot why he was given this.
He thought that Loki gave a matching set to the others of their small group, too...
Something about a wedding, if he remembered...
Though whose wedding, he was not sure.
As he had these irrelevent, idle thoughts the woman answered his question.
Though not before eyeing him wolfishly a few seconds more.
He cut quite a delicious figure in that suit, she thought to herself.
"Ah, yeah. Clothes. Right. Forgot about that." She snapped her fingers.
A darkly coloured shirt appeared, bearing a faintly familiar image of a eyepatch-wearing little boy and tall, black-haired man with red eyes.
Loki had something similar, he recalled...
"Better?" She asked.
"Much."
They then walked out of the crator.
"Uh...not to be rude, but, um, who...are you...?" Reina hesitated.
This woman made her feel...subdued.
She had a mysterious aura, a certain profoundness.
Reina thought that this woman was unfathomable. Her eyes, they looked old. Or, no, rather, they seemed very experienced and full of hidden knowledge.
Loki exuded the same feeling. A feeling of ancientness.
Yet that contrasted heavily with his carefree manner. He and this woman seemed both old beyond compare and young at the same time.
Only Roland seemed to not mind any of this, from what she saw.
Well, he was abnormal too...just in a different way...So maybe that was how he could appear so normal when confronted by this woman's presence.
But Reina felt intimidated. And a bit scared. But she held it in nicely, she thought.
The woman looked at her. " Oh, call me Mer, my voyeuristic new friend." She greeted naturally.
Smirksing, she poked Reina in the breast. " Hey, hey, sorry about earlier. Didn't mean to hit on your husband. The moment passed, unfortunately, so I won't continue...I mean I would, given your okay, but if not then I suppose I have to give up. Sadly. I'm not *that* type of woman, you know? I do have some morals."
"But, I'm not..! The two of us aren't..." She stuttered, not exactly knowing how to respond to such assumptions.
She was most definitely not a voyeur...
As for the other thing, that was...
She, like Roland, tried to explain.
The woman--No, Mer--laughed mischievously. "Hehe~ indeed quite the shy type, aren't you~ look at that red face, adorable! You remind me of my daughter when she was young. Ah, I wanted to ask if I could have a taste of this perfect specimen of a man, but I suppose that's a bit rude at our first meeting. Worry not, I will, of course, keep it in my panties. I have things to do anyway. But hey, if you're ever in the mood for something new look me up!"
Then her figure winked out of existence, the last they saw of her merely a charming grin and a hand raised to give a small wave.
The two, Reina and Roland, were left alone.
"Do you...know who that was?" She looked at the man beside her questioningly .
"I have an idea...though I don't know why she would be here. Maybe she got bored or something. Daughter, huh." He mused. " I feel two other familiar presences not far from here. Those guys...They probably have the wrong idea. Loki, this has to be because of that call he mase. But to get here so quickly... No, nevermind that. We should get back. Now."
"What, why do you sound so urgent?" She asked, alarmed at his tone.
" Oh, I just want to make sure they dont destroy our place by accident... or, you know, kill anyone."
