Host's note: I cut out the author's note for this chapter as it's irrelevant now, other than the thanks for the donator that was mentioned last chapter. I've already cut out some other author notes as well and will continue doing so unless they are relevant even here. As usual, this is a rehost and I'm not the author.

“Wait, in the Mortal Domain don’t the people use some sort of currency for trades?”
Jin Xia furrowed his eyebrows as he searched his host’s memory about the currency of WuDan. Moments later, he found what he was looking for.
“So it seems there’s a universal currency here in this world of WuDan…let’s see, and the value of these currency are sorted as such, from low to high: Copper, Silver, Gold, and Crystal Coin…with 1000 copper=1 silver, 1000 silver=1 gold, 1000 gold=1 crystal coin….but it looks like besides using currency, almost any items of value can be used as a substitute to trade.”
Jin Xia pondered for a while as he thought of what to do.
Although his Jin Clan is definitely not poor, Jin Xia is unable to extract any money from the clan. After all, no one wanted to give out free money, which could be used to buy precious resources, to someone who’s merely in the Wudan 1st stage.
And even though Jin Xia could ask his parent, much of their assets is controlled by the clan. So if Jin Xia wanted to borrow some money from his parents, he would have to travelled all the way back and forth again…
“Ahhh, why did I forget to bring money? Now what should I do…”
Jin Xia thought for a while before his eyes suddenly lit up.
While Jin Xia did not bother to collect currencies and the likes when he was a deity, he did accumulate countless treasures in his Eternal Gourd.
“I know! Why don’t I just sell a few of the items that I don’t need inside my Eternal Gourd at this market and make a profit from them. Seeing how poor the qualities of the items here, any one item I pull out will easily top the rest.”
Having made up his mind, Jin Xia walked around as he tried to find the auction site in his memory.
After searching around, Jin Xia finally found it.
In front of him loomed a grand mansion, with a long, wooden sign set at the top of a big red door that read: Azure Sky Auction House.
The Azure Sky Auction was one of the largest auction house within a thousand miles. It was a giant in the world of auction sites, having several branches set up in cities across the country, including smaller cities. One reason was to expand profit while the other reason was to enable wealthy families an easier way to access auction in their neighboring city, or even right within their own city.
And without the lack of wealthy in the country, these extremely rich people would often dress up in simple clothes and go randomly scour around different Azure Sky Auction sites, in hopes of coming across a site that just happens to be auctioning a rare treasure. After all, with more branches means not all the goods would be in one place. In a way, luck may even be involved, as the auction rarely does public announcements for treasures.
The founder of the auction site believed in the idea of having chance guide one’s fate. So treasures would differ from Auction branch to another. Thus, even backwater cities like Tian City would often get a certain number of anonymous, wealthy bidders.
Inside, one may find many exotic items being auctioned and bought at extravagant prices. The auction site is so popular that even foreigners from other cities tend to visit it. In short, only the wealthy would tend to participate in auctions at the Azure Sky Auction House.
While the auction house’s influence was not as great as the four major clans in Tian City, its power was still not to be estimate. After all, the Azure Sky Auction House still possesses at least two Wudan 6th stage cultivator and one Wudan 7th stage practitioner, who’s the head of the auction site.
Just as JIn Xia was about to enter, he suddenly thought of something.
“I’m only going to sell a few useless items from my Eternal Gourd, but any one of the items I take out will surpass the value of all the items being sold here. While the auction site may protect my identity, with my current identity and strength, if by some chance someone powerful found out that I was the seller…I’m afraid it’ll bring some unnecessary trouble.”
Jin Xia thought as his eyes slightly narrowed.
“Hmph, while I’m not afraid of trouble from these mortals, the current me is truly too weak. I’ll have to take precaution and hide my identity for now…”
With that thought, JIn Xia quickly turned around and calmly walked away.

Moments later, the street was still busy with people as transactions were made here and there.
Suddenly, a figure clad in a pure black cloak walked out from a dark alley and blended in with the crowd on the street. A white fox mask, with beautiful red vein-like inscriptions painting its exterior, completely covered the figure’s face. At the top of the white fox’s mask, was a vertically aligned painting of a black eye. Its sclera was colored black with a light purple irish at its center.
Any one who looked at the fox masked figure were instantly given a sense of dread and mysteriousness. They could help but promptly turn their head away.
The suspicious figure was Jin Xia.
Although Jin Xia’s outfit attracted a few attentions, it was not a big deal. After all, there were many other people who have passed through the city before who preferred to keep their identity hidden. Thus, Jin Xia’s new appearance was nothing out of the ordinary in many people’s eyes. They quickly lost interest in him and went about their business.

“With this Asura Fox Mask and Hades’s Cloak, no one should be able to detect my aura unless they’re at least of Overlord realm. But to find such someone like that here…hmph, one can only dream!”
Jin Xia silently thought as he headed towards the Azure Sky Auction House.
After arriving, Jin Xia promptly entered through the doors.
Inside the large store, there were many weapons hanging on the walls while various pills sat enclosed in thick, glass cases. This was only the front of the store.
Further into the back, there is another door which was painted black. From inside, Jin Xia’s could faintly hear shouting coming from within.
While Jin Xia’s ability and perception was nearly unmatched when he was a deity, being inside a mortal’s body have severely limited his power. Even with his powerful soul, Jin Xia dared not use his otherworldly strength in fear of fatally injuring his mortal body. Thus, his perceptions and senses are only limited to his current level of cultivation.
But even then, after going through a promotion in strength, Jin Xia’s perceptiveness rose and he was able to faintly hear voices of people bidding from beyond that black door.
Without a word, Jin Xia walked towards the black door. But just as he took a few steps, an arrogant voice called out to him from his right.
“You there, stop! Damn! Who let a beggar into our prestigious auction house!”
Jin Xia paused and slowly turned his head to face the speaker. The one who had called out to him was a short middle-aged man wearing an expensive brown clothing. The man’s face was ordinary while his round belly stuck out from his fat body.
The middle-aged man had a face full of contempt as he walked over to Jin Xia. Having noticed Jin Xia’s simple black cloak, the man had deduced that the latter must be poor. But the moment Jin Xia turned around to face him, the middle-aged man saw the fox mask on his face.
His steps slightly faltered when he saw the mask. It gave a creepy vibe made the middle-aged man feel uncomfortable.
“Damn, these beggars are even sporting some creepy masks to hide their ugly faces..”
The middle-aged man cursed in his head as he walked over to Jin Xia.
All the while, Jin Xia did not move a single step as he gazed over at the approaching man.
“Who are you?”
A deep, majestic voice boomed out. The voice came from the black-cloaked figure.
Hearing this voice, the middle-aged man was startled as he narrowed his eyes at Jin Xia. Naturally, he did not know that Jin Xia had used his soul force to alter his voice. JIn Xia had changed his voice in order to further conceal his identity.
“I am Gu-Hai, one of the managers of Azure Sky Auction House.”
The middle-aged man named Gu-Hai proudly said as his lips curved upward in a disdainful smile.
“Mmm, a manager I see…well then, I have a few items I would like to have you sell through your auction site. Would you accept?”
Without paying any attention to Gu-Hai’s haughty tone, Jin Xia calmly asked the person.
“What? A beggar like you would have something to sell? Stop your bulls! Do you think our auction house will accept any items lower than Mid-grade! Do you have such precious items? Hmph, you better scram before I beat you out!”
Gu-Hai snorted in contempt as he rudely wave for Jin Xia to leave, as if he was shooing away a worthless fly.
“…This world really is lacking some resources…for the word ‘precious’ to be used in the same sentence to describe mere Mid-grade items. But then again, in this kind of city where No-grade items are plenty and Low-grade items are scarce, I guess it is to be expected..”
Hearing what Gu-Hai said, Jin Xia inwardly sighed to himself as he thought about how poor of an environment he was living in.
Seeing that Jin Xia did not respond to his threat but instead remained still, Gu-Hai narrowed his eyes.
“Damn beggar, you are really looking to die today!”
Gu-Hai shouted as his right fist struck towards Jin Xia.
He was a 6th stage Wudan practitioner, a being who stood near the top of Tian City. After all, in the city where the strongest cultivator was only at Spiritual Dan realm, a person such as Gu-Hai can already be considered a great expert in this small place.
And because of his cultivation, Gu-Hai was able to covet a manager position at Azure Sky Auction House and was able to act arrogant in the city. With Gu-Hai status and strength, there were not many people who could face him. This was also the reason why Gu-Hai dared to attack a person in the city, much less a useless ‘beggar’ in his eyes.
In this world, only power has the greatest persuasion. Everything else is useless.
As Gu-Hai struck at Jin Xia, the latter did not bother to dodge at all. Instead, Jin Xia’s cloak suddenly flapped open briefly before a loud sound rang out.
Bang!
Gu-Hai’s body instantly flew backward like a broken kite as he crashed into a wall of weapons that were on display. Dust flew up everywhere as Gu-Hai’s body was firmly indented in the wall.
“Ugh!” Gu-Hai coughed up blood as he left hand clutched his other arm. His right arm had been completely shattered from a single exchange with Jin Xia.

Host's note: A few reviews have been asking about the next update on the original site since there's been somewhat of a hiatus there. Good news. When I contacted the author about hosting the novel here, he stated that he'll be continuing the story soon alongside his approval. How soon? He didn't say, so please be patient.
