When he goes missing with nothing but a note describing his location, it's hard for her not to panic. Haphazardly leaving the city she's known for all her life with two of her friends, she sets out to find him. What she does find quickly is that the world she lives in is far different than the one she was told she was a part of. As she navigates this mess, she's forced to rework her perception of things to even have a hope at finding her brother before she finds herself dead.
