Chapter 5: From Monster to Genius
Tekone sat on a fur rug watching her young master look at the tribe’s cultivation technique with a complicated expression. After some days Shaman Lumi was able to get permission for the young master too obtain a copy of the [Raging Mammoth] technique.
Once the young master had it in his hands he immediately began reading it and after a couple of minutes a complicated expression surfaced on his face.
Tekone believed it to be due to the complexity of the technique, regardless of how smart the young master was it shouldn’t be possible for him to comprehend a cultivation technique in a couple of minutes.
But contrary to her thoughts Sechs was thinking something completely different. ‘Isn’t this technique too crude?’ the raging mammoth technique was in his opinion very crude. The techniques he had were much more refined than the one available to his tribe.
It was so low tiered that if he made a couple of casual changes he would be able to greatly improve the technique. What made it crude was the use of elemental energy in it’s raw form.
If used this way the elemental energy would have at least thirty percent impurities. With the [Ice Jade Blade] and [Blaze Wolf] techniques the elemental energy gathered would go through a transformation or refining process making the elemental energy pure and much stronger than in its raw state.
For example the ice Jade Blade technique would freeze water elemental energy and the coldness of it would destroy any impurities in it. On top of ignoring the impurities of the raw elemental energy the technique also ignored the impurities of the body.
The technique was created by watching raging mammoths as they grew, naturally taking in earth elemental energy into their bodies and was a copy of the movements of the elemental energy in their bodies.
But these mammoths were born with very few impurities in their bodies and didn’t worry about them. As for humans? They were born completely pure but were also the fastest to gain impurities, by the time a human started cultivating his or her body would be filled with impurities.
The techniques humans worked on in order to be successful would require one to fully cleanse his or her body. Thinking along those lines Sechs understood why there was such a large difference between the cultivation techniques he took from the facility and the one the Raging Mammoth tribe’s ancestor created.
Martial artist on earth had little elemental energy to work with meaning they had to work on quality over quantity, for this reason all top tier martial arts techniques on earth included the refinement of elemental energy.
The other difference was the martial artist’s body, for those of the savage lands beasts who quickly gathered the abundant elemental energy in their bodies were the epitome of strength.
Following this logic if they strengthened their bodies the same way, wouldn’t they be just as strong, but by doing so they strengthened their bodies as a whole impurities and all. The only other ting was the conversion of elemental energy into an aura but Sechs quickly realized that his techniques would also lead to the development of an aura.
Noting the differences Sechs was glad he came to this world with his knowledge of martial arts if he practiced such a crude cultivation technique it would most likely ruin his foundations to enter into higher realms.
Thinking about his future and how chaotic this world seemed to be Sechs once more approved of his idea of helping Nixie as having a companion to help him would be great. Finishing up with the [Raging Mammoth] technique he began writing on some separate animal skins.
On these skins he wrote vast improvements to the technique, originally this cultivation technique would only help a person reach the middle aura realm. With his improvements not only would one be able to reach peak aura realm but also in a much stronger state than what would be possible for the average aura realm warrior.
These improvements did not place the technique on the same level as his techniques but it was his quick attempt at helping his clan.
“Tekone give these to mother and make sure to tell her that these techniques would most benefit those at the mortal realm, above the mortal real it will help but not by much.” Seeing the parchments the young master handed to her Tekone took them with great care and hurried to the young master’s mother.
Although she didn’t think the young master could make any improvements to their clans cultivation technique letting the young master’s mother see his attempts would help alleviate the worry she had about him making a cultivation technique.
Glyn and Lumi both sat staring at a bundle of parchments written by Sixth while Tekone waited to be allowed to go back to her young master.
“Tekone your saying after reading through the tribe’s cultivation technique Sixth was able to improve it this much?” Glyn looked at Tekone with a complicated expression.
“Yes.”
“Did anyone aside from you and Sixth see this?”
“No.” Hearing this Glyn couldn’t help but smile. From what he understood about this new cultivation technique it would be possible for him who was at the early aura realm to reach top aura realm, sadly he wasn’t in the mortal realm if he was he would be able to reach peak aura realm.
“Tekone did Sixth come up with any other cultivation techniques?” The one to ask this was Lumi she was a shaman and didn’t have the same level of interest in the improved technique as her husband, instead she worried about her son and his health.
“… Yes, shaman Lumi but he has not used it as he didn’t develop it for himself.” Tekone wasn’t sure whether or not she should say anything about the technique the young master developed for Nixie but Shaman Lumi was her benefactor and the young master’s mother so giving some information would be acceptable.

Lumi was surprised by this as she didn’t think her son had so much talent, he was always smarter than the other children and understood anything he was told rapidly but to develop a cultivation technique for another person was just monstrous. But at the same time she wanted to give her son a good scolding.
“Why and who did he creat a cultivation technique for if he hasn’t even started cultivating himself?”
This was the reason she was upset if he could creat a cultivation technique and vastly improve the clan’s cultivation technique wouldn’t it be a better idea to start his own cultivation to ensure his survival.
Even without the knowledge that he would have to fight a savage beast at the age of fifteen the savage lands were a harsh place.
“He created a cultivation technique for Nixie daughter of the head butcher, as for why I do not know.” Lumi thought about Tekone’s response and decided to go see her son.
“Glyn we’re going to go see Sixth now.” Normally she acted the part of the submissive wife but she was a middle apprentice realm shaman making her stronger than her husband and currently she was to distracted by other thoughts to play her part.
“Yes we should go see him and talk about his achievements, also some possible rewards to help him in creating his own cultivation technique.” Glyn didn’t mind his wife dropping the submissive act while they were along and Tekone was the attendant of his son so she would not say anything about it. Having agreed the three walked out of the to Sixth’s tent.
“Sixth we’re coming in.” Lumi was somewhat hurried even if her son could somehow make cultivation techniques his body was still frail so he would not be able to quickly train. As for the fight against a savage beast he would have to at least reach the mid mortal realm to survive.
This was an easy enough test for any strong child of the Raging mammoth tribe but her son wasn’t a strong child.
“Mother, Father come in.” Looking at her son Lumi was instantly less hurried for an explanation regarding her son’s reasons for making a cultivation technique for someone else.
“Sixth, you improved the tribe’s cultivation technique by a large amount, but we shouldn’t reveal this to anyone yet.” Glyn spoke first before Lumi had a chance to begin questioning their son. To him the tribe as a whole nod his position in the tribe were more important than his son’s reasons for helping a girl in cultivation.
“Yes father.”
“Good for the next five years your older siblings and I will train in this new version of the technique when you are ten we will reveal that you were the one to improve the technique. If will reveal it now you will be seen as an abnormal monster at least if your ten we can say you did so after spending five years on the technique and you will just be seen as a great genius.”
“Yes father.” Glyn nodded in approval of his son’s willingness to listen to his instructions.
“Now your mother has some things to say after she’s done we will discuss a suitable reward for you.” This was something he quickly added as he noticed his wife was beginning to grow impatient.
“Son have you created a suitable technique for yourself?” To Lumi this was the most important thing as it concerned her son’s safety and future prospects.
“Yes mother but I am currently unable to train in it.” Hearing this she was both delighted and devastated.
“Son quickly tell me what it is you need to help you cultivate and I will do everything in my power to help you.”
“Mother do not worry all I need is some time and I will be able to cultivate.” Hearing his confidant voice Lumi felt a weight lift off her shoulders, for the last five years she worried about her son and now she would be able to watch over him like she had done for her other children. While feeling relived her husband spoke once more.
“You created a cultivation technique for a girl, why?” When he heard this Sechs was slightly startled and it showed on his face, although he had a strong mind and soul his body was still that of a child including his brain so at times when his guard was lowered his reactions would resemble one.
Seeing her son surprised and somewhat flustered Lumi misunderstood his reaction. ‘Does Sixth have a little crush on the girl, he was always more mature than other children but this is a bit fast.’
Sechs saw the misunderstanding in his mothers eyes but decided to let it go as coming up with an excuse could bring more trouble if they saw though his lies.
“Regardless I promised you a reward, when you think of some thing come see me or send Tekone with a request.” Concluding the reason for their visit both his parents left. Sechs sat and asked Tekone to not tell anyone the actual sword moves or the sword arts or the cultivation technique.
Even when she told his mother of the cultivation technique Sechs did not begin to distrust Tekone or reprimand her for not keeping it a secret, after all to him having a family was the greatest of things after the way he lost his in his past life and Tekone was like a caring older sister to him.
From Nixie he learned that just outside of the savage lands were paces ruled by humans and that was his goal. Once he reached an adequate amount of strength he would leave the savage lands and take his family with him or leave them with enough strength to fight off any savage beast without the need to constantly fear the peak second realm beast.
With that in mind he continued to train in the [Six Winged Angel]. With a stronger soul he would be able to raise his perceptiveness in all things including fighting and cultivation techniques. Meaning he would be able to further gain insights and make variations of his techniques that would suit Nixie and his own mysterious origin element when the time came.
