Well, this is a fine pickle.
With this new information that really only those that have no fear from their higher-ups will help really puts a frown on Sophia and me.
Officer Cooper just shrugs and continues firing at the Nazis. I hear him mutter something about piles of paperwork as he reloads, but even that mutter was too quiet for me to hear.
All of the soldiers that were mindlessly attacking us suddenly stop. All of us go on high alert as opposed to their nonchalant attitude earlier. Hmm…wait! I hear something! Footsteps? Yeah, that sounds like gravel.
"There!" I point to a nearby alleyway. Everyone turns in the direction of my finger to see a Nazi whose muscles are obviously too tight for his uniform. A handlebar mustache adorns his face, but the rest of the head is severely lacking in hair. At about six feet, he stands proud as a threat.
He sees us and smirks. "Miss. Don't vu know it's rude to boint?" He slowly steps towards us. Each of the soldiers raises a…uh, salute to him to which he waves them down. Silence reigns as the only sound is the crunching of concrete fragments under his boots.
His smirk turns to a frown as he looks over us. "Hm. I hexbected more...und petder. Alas, vu vill haffe to do." An aura spreads around him, similar to the blue Nazis that chased our car, but this one is red. His already bulging muscles strain themselves even further even after we hear his clothes start to rip. Let's just Inspect him and find out what we're dealing with.
[ Strength-Enhanced Undead Remnant - A corpse brought back to life via Necromancy Magic. While brought back with the memories of the deceased, the Remnants are loyal to the Necromancer. The Remnants are still capable of acting like their original selves despite loyalty. This remnant's abilities are focused towards strength and defense while decreasing speed and overall mental capabilities. ]
A berserker then? Seems so. Probably has some rage skill on top of his boosted physique already. Though…if he uses it, then he'll probably just blindly charge at us. The only question would then be: what could stop his charge?
He takes a final step, the manhole cover underneath him creaking due to his weight. He crosses his arms and silently judges us. Likely to see which of us might be the most troublesome.
In the silence, Rose throws a punch into a Nazi, audibly cracking a rib.
"Vu," he says. Pointing to Rose, she points at herself and says, "Who me?" He nods and begins to step forward.
*rumble* The ground begins to shake. I thought I left this when I moved away from California.

A burning eruption smelling of methane and fecal matter vents from the manhole cover. The buff Nazi is blown back fifty feet into a wall by the hot explosion. The roaring flame immediately dies down somewhat, but still burns with life.
A metal hand grips the edge of where the cover once laid. Pulling the attached figure up reveals Thomas, covered in soot with the left half of his face missing. A metal form can be seen on his hands and face. His left eye with circuits squirming out swivels between all of us. If I look closely enough, I can see where the metal and meat are singed together.
Yet, somehow, his suit remains intact.
"*cough* Well, that was a waste of incendiary explosives." A guttural cough with hints of metal is released from Thomas as he stands up before us. "Oh, hello there." He looks around. "Am I interrupting something?"
Everyone stares at him in slight contempt, except for Officer Cooper who is staring in confusion.
"Yes. Yes, you did," Sophia states.
"You completely did," Rose concurs. Midas and I just nod in agreement.
Officer Cooper scratches his head. "Do I know you?"
Thomas snaps in his direction. "Most likely not. I probably just look similar to someone you know. I do have half of a common face after all." Officer Cooper just nods in acceptance to this quite questionable statement.
A familiar Nazi climbs out of his hole in the wall, shoving debris out of the way, and stomps down on the ground. The surrounding soldiers are still, for some reason, in a dumbfounded state.
"Hah! Metal Man, vu zink zat hurt? Zat is ein funny itea," the Nazi laughs at Thomas. He just tilts his head in confusion.
"Who are you?" Thomas asks.
The Nazi smirks. "I'm Cabdain...Cabtain...I can't rememper...Vu can chust call me Cabdain!" The Cabdain? Oh! Captain seems to be suffering some memory loss. Probably a side effect of being undead.
"Nice to meet you, Captain. Well, not really. You're obviously a Nazi, and I have several issues with that. Five. You can call me Thomas. Four," Thomas introduces himself with a slight bow, all the while holding a passive frown.
"I cannot zay it vas nice to meet vu eizer. It does not matter as vu vill zoon pe baste." Captain's smirk grows into an elated, crazed smile and he gets into a charging position.
"Three. Interesting prospect. However! I have an idea. Two. Just stay there for one second." Thomas holds up his hands in a motion like he's imagining a picture. The Nazi grows confused for one second.
"Hu—?" His second last words are uttered before he gets sliced by a manhole cover falling from the sky. One that split him down the middle and is also currently on fire. The cover impacts the ground with a crack, and it sends asphalt shrapnel flying.
Thomas snaps his fingers. "And THAT'S how you kill a Nazi…in style~!" He turns towards us with a content smile. "That was mostly planned, by the way. Well, except for the whole…fire…thing. But that's just a side consequence."
The surrounding soldiers break out of their reverie with the death of their Captain. Instead of turning back into corpses, or their cognitive state, they became erratic. And hungry too, with all of their biting. Actually, they look like they have rabies with the foam in their mouths.
They begin stumbling around like zombies from movies. It's like the spell that controlled them became undone and they are now mindless. They don't chase us though, and instead just bite on anything. Especially the gold statues of their fellow soldiers.
"Huh," Midas exclaims plainly, "I guess that works." We all just stare in silence at the new chew toys. "Are we, uh, just going to leave them here?"
