Euris' hands were held together in front of him as he nodded his head down. His pupils were shaken as he clenched his jaw and glanced at his son. A man who lay unconscious on his bed.
Seyric sweated profusely as his eyes moved under his lids. His brow drew closer from the numbness that clung inside his body as it heated up in a warm sensation. Heavy weight remained in his chest.
His heart beats slower with every passing moment. His tensed muscles flared up as he gasped for breath.
Euris placed Seyric's hair behind his ears and sighed.
Before finally. He glanced over his shoulder to see Magnus outside the doorway as the door swung open.
Euris eyes lit up briefly as he stood from his seat.
"I'm glad you're here, sorry you arrived this early." Euris lowered his head.
"It doesn't matter." Magnus marched through the room as he placed his hands over Seyric's chest.
Magnus frowned and shook his head. "Clearly he is having trouble in his current state. He needs guidance to relax his nerves for easier mana flow."
As Euris gestured his hands over Seyric, he poured small amount of mana.
"Damn it," Magnus cursed.
Seyric's mana flow has become unstable due to the blockage of nerves and mana has failed to flow through his body.
"Brother, stop!" Magnus yelled.
"What's wrong, Magnus?" Euris paused and faced him as he pondered.
Magnus fell silent for a long time as he scanned all over the flow of Seyric's mana as it began to poured slowly from his nerves and began a slow distribution from his body.
As Magnus checked over his heart, he discovered that there was a small blockage in the flow of mana.
"God Light Nerve Penetration." He chanted as a small mist of light formed from the flow of mana nerves pierced in the blockage of mana as Seyric's chest eventually turned normal.
Euris extended his hands as light formed in his hand. He scanned the distribution of his son's organs. As well as his normal heartbeat.
Euris sighed of relief as Magnus pulled his hands away.
"Is he fine now?"
"So far, he is... I could see some minor issues between his mana flow distribution but so far it's good now. The mana is slow, it might take him around three days to regain his strength." Magnus sighed and put his hands on Euris' shoulder.

"Is there an easy way to speed up the process?" Euris squinted his eyes as Magnus turned his gaze.
"I'm afraid there are none. His body needs to bathe in the Divine Light of God's Circle, which can only be done in Anglesia City."
"Why don't we bring him there?"
Magnus shook his head, "No, it'll take a day of traveling by carriage, which his body cannot handle, he needs rest. I don't think instant teleportation is a good option either. It's beyond reach..."
"What should I do...?" Euris asked as he placed his palms over his forehead.
"Let him be and let him rest. He needs to stay in bed for the next few days, Brother. At least that is the maximum number of days he will be able to recover."
"Are you sure about this, Magnus?" Euris asked in assurance, while Magnus nodded his head.
"Yes, in the meantime. You have to feed him, Brother. It'll help increase the rate of recovery."
"Alright..."
As Ikaria entered the room and wiped sweat from his face, she sighed heavily as she watched her son rest.
On the other hand, Euris and Magnus headed towards the living room as Magnus' face was full of seriousness. He sat by the couch he blurted. "I'm not sure if he could perform effectively with a mage class for his state, Brother. His having trouble with it."
Euris combed his silver hair as he frowned. "I know... I'll try to think of a way to make it work..."
He sighed as he drifted deep into his thoughts for a long time before Magnus stood up from the couch and fixed his attention on him.
"I'll be back in a few days, Brother. The church had many responsibilities to do lately, so... I have to leave first." Magnus said as Euris parted his lips.
His pupils scanned Magnus face whose eyes were droopy and puffy under them. "No, I've noticed..." He muttered as he stood up from his feet.
"What has the church been up to lately?" he asked.
"I don't know either but many civilians and adventurers have disappeared over a course of a few days."
Euris flickered his eyes as he glared, "Do you think it's related to the Dark Spirit?"
He said with a low monotone voice full of authority.
"Not that I could tell... But it might." Magnus sighed as Euris shook his head, finally removed the look in his face.
"I understand, Magnus. Let me escort you out. I'd love to find out more about it," said Euris.
As they marched towards the door and left the house, Seyric drifted into empty void space. As his body floated in nothingness. He could only hear soft warm whispers with a familiar sound.
"Rest well." The voice echoed through the void as Seyric struggled to move and open his eyes, only to remain and listen to the voice.
"As far as I can tell, I didn't expect you to get this weak... Having not taken care of you properly..." As the voice muttered in the void, sniffs and sobs echoed.
"I'm sorry, sweetie... Your mother doesn't have a power... a power to protect you..." The voice trembled between the sobs as Seyric's heart throbbed in pain.
'No, please... Don't cry...' He begged in his mind as his mouth couldn't muffle the words out of his chest.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I failed as your mother, sweetie..." The voice started to become faint as his dark voids erupted as his temples throbbed. Needles drilled through his head as he barely hung on to his consciousness.
The void gradually disappeared as he was swept away from his thoughts and fell into a deep sleep once again.
