Benson noticed my shadow and tried to grab my foot, but I acted fast and grabbed Benson’s hand and I started crushing it.
Master, has to break free from his strict iron-clad casting rule. He won’t cast a spell unless he can weave signs and say it aloud. It’s more of a con. Well, granted its does make the spell more efficient and more robust, but it takes longer to cast. Which is a detriment, because in today’s meta, it’s all about speed. Slow steady doesn’t win the race anymore, I could do it because of the caliber mage I am, and I can also bring so much utility to fight. Long-drawn fights, still happen, but it’s an uncommon occurrence.
Sora: Give up. Benson: Don’t you want something more flashy than forcing me into submission like this? I’d tighten up my grip, and flew back down to the ground. Sora: I did have something in mind. But why not make you quit, so I can get this over with. Benson: Wind magic... A clangorous pop sound came from Benson’s left hand. He utter a little yell, he then squinches his face, and dropped down to one knee.
Sora: Like you said to me before. Sometimes, you don’t need to overthink things, a simple solution might be what’s best. Benson: At least my teachings are still up there. I thought your arrogance overshadowed my teachings. Sora: Why do you want to save Deshon from fear? I’m not going kill, I’m merely going to hurt him until he fears me.
Benson: You sound like your grandma. I at least want to take advantage of him not fearing any of y'all. Or anybody. Fear can be detriment, to a mage’s progression. Sora: Or it could enhance progression. Benson: Now you’re sounding like Veronica. Benson clenches down on his teeth, and commenced swirling his head around in rapid motion. Then he examines the sky, and he sighs in defeat.
It seems like he noticed Joker’s shot. The small explosion lulls my opponent into a false security thinking that their fine. But in reality, their in dangerous territory if they don’t notice it at first. The more times passes, bigger the payout. Not only you have worry about to behemoth sized shadowy hands, their also carrying the real energy orb. But instead of a tiny one, it’s an orb that can fill up those hands.
Sora: You were right, I did have something flashy. Benson: So the fight was over when it just got started. The cardinal mistake I made, was trying to grab you. But you reacted fast and countered me. Sora: I’ll see it your way. But you know, he’s way out of line. I relinquished my grip upon Benson’s left hand.
Benson: You’ve dealt with other royals in the past, and talk their trash to you. Why can’t you ignore this? Sora: It’s more a respect thing. Respect is a two-way street. But if both of us are going to be in the same club then we should respect each other. He’s trying to make a name for himself, which I can get behind. Benson: I see. But are you going to ignore the elephant in the room?
Sora: Sorry teach. You’ve simply seen too much. Benson: I apologize for not realizing, what Veronica was really doing to you, over the years. It was obvious. But I was blind to it. I thought it was regular training. I was wrong. If I could go back in time, I would confront her. No, I would tell Maina, and she would’ve come and got you. And possibly killed Veronica, straight up. But it’s too late, unless you want to do something. I am curious, how many words do you think, I could get off before death kicks in. Sora: Two words at best.

Benson: Interesting. Her forcing you to be the clean-up man, is tragic. There’s something I could do. But it would cost me my life. If I had come an hour sooner, I would be dead. I owe the victims of that massacre, I have to do something for them. But I know you would kill me, if I am an obstacle for Veronica. I did my job training you two freaks, but I can’t help you progress any further like I did before, you guys are at a level, I’ve never obtained. Veronica, probably call for my replacement, or be contempt with Rowan Academy progressing you two.
Sora: Just pretend you didn’t see anything. This would be helpful. And plus if Veronica can listen to us right now, this serves as insurance. So you won’t get killed, or anybody of that matter. So, what’s the plan now?
Benson: Well, I was trying to wait for your mother or any of your siblings. But we still got time. I’ll give her a little bit more time, before I start. So, warm up more or relax, while you wait. I finally flew over to Sophia, Brok and the rest of my familiars on the roof of the cabin. Sophia still eating doughnuts, while drinking pink lemonade and the others drinking booze as well except Brok, Artoria.
Brok: You said a fucking moment! You took your bloody time getting your ass here! Sora: Sorry. Sophia: At least, it was interesting. So, what was that dark dome about? Sora: Don’t worry, your pretty little head about it. My dark magic got a wee bit out of control, then I corrected it.
Sophia: Nothing else happen, huh? The way your familiars and Brok acted was like they’ve seen a ghost or something. I tried going in to see the big fuss, and I couldn’t get in the dome. Sora: I see. Hey, y'all did Sophia annoy any of you? Artoria: No, we’ve come to an understanding. Artoria smiled. Sophia: They’re amazing. I wish I met them sooner. They already know about me, its bloody crazy. Jakari: It’s impossible to not know you. Sophia: I didn’t think you would speak so highly of me.
So none of them, spilled any information. That’s great. I’m relieved that she doesn’t know anything. That night was the foundation, of our fame. Veronica’s plan did work and without a hitch. She used me to get to the queens. If she needs something done, I would be the perfect cover-up for it. Just a stupid puppet.
I would be like a gaping pit of all cover-ups. I swore to her majesty, I would be incorruptible, and I intend to keep that promise, as well-to-do what’s best for the Accordia’s. Sophia, I wish you could be the head of this family one day, but we simply don’t have that luxury. My darling, I at least must try to honor Ben’s wishes pertaining to me. I hope you’ll forgive me one day for being selfish.
Sora: I think I’m going to regret this. You’re undeniable, I must give praise to you. Everyone should know who you are. Sophia: Getting praised from you? That’s music to my ears. Continue, praise me more. Sora: Don’t even get a bigger head. I just simply acknowledge your talents, it’s no big deal. Sophia: No, big deal?! That’s bollocks! And you know it. Keep speaking this praise, before I throw you across the map!
Sora: Don’t even try it! It only works when you least expect it. Sophia: Wanna bet?! Sophia released her mana and created this Persian blue that surrounded the back half of the cabin. She let out a cheeky grin like I’m intimidated by her. Sora: Oh, please. I retort by releasing my own mana, my half of the cabin is engulfed by a shade of Rosé aura.
Sophia: I think you forgot your place! Sora: And you forgot to be humble, short stack. Sophia: Oh, just because you have gotten taller the past year, doesn’t give you the right to call me short!
Benson: Sophia! Front in center! Justin: You in trouble now! Sophia: Oh, shut up!
