CHAPTER 21

When Alexander and Kreegan entered the house, they found that everything had been plundered. Battler and his men must have gathered all the information about Crown Island and taken them away. Alexander took Kreegan into the basement of the house, and when he pushed a brick into the wall, a compartment opened in the adjacent wall.

"My father was a bit paranoid about his research and would put all of his most important documents here."

"Yeah, I can tell."

"My father was a zoologist and cartographer. All the man cared about in life was to travel from island to island, discover new animals, and create maps of these islands. That's why he was absent for most of my life. My younger sister met him when she was four years old. He was that kind of fucked up man. To him, his family always came second. But when my mom gave the ultimatum that it was either us or his adventurous life, I thought he would choose the free life, but he decided to settle down. It was just a year ago, and the bastard had just started to come back into our lives."

Little by little, Alexander's hands were starting to turn into claws, and his claws were beginning to tear the brick in his hand. He turned to Kreegan.

"I hope you don't expect to get that Battler bastard alive because it is not gonna happen."

"Naa, I don't take pirates alive if possible. I always say death pirate is the best pirate."

"Could you let me take care of Battler?"

Kreegan thought for a second, and Alexander was a level 2 if Battler was a Level 2 too.

"I will let you have the first go at him, but if it starts to get dangerous, I will step in."

He got up and offered his hand.

"Deal."

They sifted through Alexander's father's notes and tried to find a clue about Crown Island. After a few hours of searching, they found among the documents his notes on the spot where Crown Island was located.

We went to the harbor where my ship was. Alexander turned sour when he saw my ship.

"I will not sail in a piece of junk like this ship."

"Why it is a decent small sailboat. I spent a lot of money on it."

"Let's go with my ship, I finished it a few days ago, but it would be so much better than this, and mine would go faster."

"It doesn't matter to me. Okay, lead the way."

They went to a small cove outside the city, where a ship had just been lowered from the dockyard. This ship was 3-4 times the size of Kreegan's ship. Kreegan thought this ship was slightly larger than Going Merry. There was a huge white tiger figurehead at the front of the ship, but this figurehead was on top of the ship. It looked as if a giant white tiger was about to emerge from the ship, and the ship was surrounded by elaborate inlays. The hull of the ship was black, and the ornaments and inlays were painted in dark gold. The ship had three masts, one was the main mast, and the others were half its length. Bow to stern; the ship was about 25 meters. The tiger statue in front of the ship was 3 meters. But this tiger was not completely useless. There were two cannon slots under the head, shaped like the two front legs of a tiger, and another cannon slot inside the tiger's mouth. On the sides of the ship, there were places for four cannons, but none of them had a cannon inside.

“Welcome aboard to Tora One.”

"Where are your cannons?"

Alexander speaks in a whispering voice.

"Do...... mon... for...th."

"What did you say? Speak up, man. I can't hear you."

"I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT."

"Then you shouldn't have made your tiger this big. You would have plenty of money for the cannons."

"Can you refresh my memory on how many cannons your ship had?"

"My ship is a sloop ship, not a warship."

----

After four days of journey, they come close to the coordinates. In front of them was a large fog screen, and the island was not even visible, and without entering the fog screen, Alexander continued to read his father's notes.

"Crown Island is sheltered behind a wall of geysers tens of meters high every day of the year. There is only one way to get in and out, and that is to enter using the small geysers that form near the wall. But if the entry point is not chosen carefully, the ship may fall to the ground or to the rocks and be shattered."

They started to advance by entering the fog curtain. It was not possible to see 5 meters ahead due to the fog, but after about an hour's journey, the fog stopped, and the geyser wall around the island was visible. When they came to the appropriate place in his father's notes by circling the island, Kreegan went up to the crow's nest and looked at the surface of the water to see if there were any geysers in the area.

A few minutes later, he saw bubbles begin to form on the surface of the water ahead, and when he immediately informed Alexander, Alexander brought the ship over there. Kreegan shouted from the crow's nest.

"What now?"

As soon as he said it, the ship began to rush upwards with a violent jolt. Crown Island was revealed in all its splendor as the ship broke through the geyser wall. There was a giant rock in the middle of the cove, and they were falling straight toward the rock.

Kreegan started worrying, but Alexander was very comfortable at the helm. Seeing the cliffs, Alexander began to pull the levers around the helm. The two small masts next to the main mast fell to the side, almost like wings. On the other hand, the main mast sail became like a parachute when it was released, thus slowing their fall. Thanks to the sails that opened like wings, instead of falling directly, they glided forward and landed on the cove a little hard.
