A/N: Hey guys sorry for the late update. I'm going to be alternating between the updates for YOLO? and this story. Also I am very busy with stuff so updating is gonna take longer. I will have more time on the weekends >_<.

Day 12

"Come outside my cubs. Today you learn how to hunt."-Mother

We were all excited. I mean I was able to hunt a rabbit and a snake by myself but they were all small fry. Mother would teach me how to really hunt.

She led us outside and we walked deep into the forest. I saw the occasional rabbit scurrying away from us in fear of mother, but she just ignored them.

I wondered what she would hunt because she was so big I was pretty sure that everything would run away.

We must have been walking for hours but then mother stopped and we rested for a while. Then we began walking again for hours again!!! Then she stopped.

"We are currently in the 3rd level, we are about to enter the 4th be wary of your surroundings."-Mother

Nothing seemed different about the scenery but when we passed through a certain point in the forest something felt different. I don't know what it was but the air felt a little bit heavier and more difficult to breathe but not by much and my body felt like it gained about 5 lbs.

We kept on walking and mother told us to get low and watch her.

I don't know why she said that but we all immediately crouched down and saw her move through the trees without sound and very gracefully and dangerously like a true predator.

I saw green humanoid beasts walking in the forest which assumed were goblins. They were about 5 ft tall and had pathetic looking spears that were just pointy sticks.

Mother got behind them in moments and they never noticed her. There were 4 of them and it was pretty sad.

She suddenly ate one whole and the others panicked. She quickly hit all of them with her massive paw and they were sent flying.

I went to check on them to see if any were alive.

I saw the one was still breathing but unconscious. I went up to it and bit into its neck hard. It was difficult but I eventually managed to choke it to death.

*ding*

Level up +5

Woah... There must have been a huge level difference between us.

Mother looked at me with amusement and told us to eat. We were hungry from all of that walking and we voraciously devoured the dead goblins.

They didn't really taste that good. Their meat was stringy and chewy and didn't go down that well but we were hungry and ate almost 2 of them.

Mother called us and told us she was going to teach us how to move like her.

She took us away from the dead bodies as it would probably attract other predators. Hmph, not that anything in the 4th level could threaten her, said mother.

She led us to a clearing in the forest.

"Now I am going to teach you how to hide yourselves from your prey. This skill only works when you are the one hunting the prey, not when you are the one being hunted."-Mother

"You have to feel the surroundings around you. Feel the energy inside of yourself. And connect yourself with nature. Become one with it and will yourself to meld in with your surroundings so that nothing else will notice you."-Mother

At first I was confused. What energy???

I closed my eyes and searched deep within myself for my "energy".

After about 30 minutes I felt something I decided to tap into it and it felt really great. I swear it was like I was high. Then I refocused and did what mother told me to do.

It took me about 7 tries to get the hang of it but I was eventually able to barely grasp the concept of it and meld into my surroundings.

*ding*

Learned conceal!

I was the 2nd one to succeed in this. B was the first one.

Mother told us to go and hunt something and come back with it. I eagerly set off, excited to use my new skill.

I spotted some type of lizard. It was green and was camouflaged with the grass but i was able to spot it. It was about 2 feet long.

I activated my skill and crept towards it. Surprisingly although I accidentally made a small noise it didn't seem to notice me.

I gradually got closer. 10 feet...7 feet.... 4 feet.... 2 feet....5 inches....

When I got close to it I bit my teeth into the back of its neck and broke it. I heard a snap as its body went limp.

*ding*

Level up

Hehehe level up!

I took my prey and went back to mother.

My other siblings were gone. It seems like they were able to learn the skill.

Since I was the first one back I ate my prey and waited for the others to return.

C(sister) was the only one that came back with something interesting. It was a beaverlike creature that was bigger than my lizard by about half a foot... hmph..

My other two brothers just brought back horned rabbits.

After they ate their meal we set off.

We followed mother and she led us to another cave in the 4th level.

"From now on you will find your own food and I will take care of you until you are 3 months old. When I deem you all strong enough we will keep on moving deeper in the levels."-Mother

Well it was a long day and we were tired so we quickly drifted off into slumber.

Day 13

Today was pretty uneventful. In the morning I went out to hunt and ate a horned rabbit and just lazed around in the cave.

Hmm... I wonder if there is anyway to increase my intelligence. I'm curious about my stats right now.
