A/N As you guys already know, I have a terrible naming sense. So if you have any suggestions on name changes I'm willing to consider them if they are any good. :) I just randomly choose names without any thought so... umm... yeah...

Day 35 continued...

The 5 huge mole creature came up behind me without me noticing. I turned around and panicked in my mind because they were definitely larger than me. One of them stood out because it was a head taller than the rest.

The moles thankfully just sniffed me curiously and licked me a bit before doing their own things. I was scared because they have large teeth that look like they could easily tear me to shreds even with my mana strengthening.

Suddenly the earth beneath us shook a little and a worm popped out bearing its menacing fangs at us while dripping it's acidic saliva. This worm was definitely the largest I've ever seen. It probably had a diameter of about 5 feet and I couldn't tell how long it was. But the moles just charged straight at it and they tore it to shreds. The worm didn't stand a chance.

After the moles killed the squirming worm they proceeded to feast on its flesh. I was kinda hungry and went up to them and tried to get a bite but one of them slapped me with its paws and I was thrown backwards and grunted or squeaked at me. The others did so also. I think they were communicating in their language.

'Hmph... fine...'

Mini(baby mole)  was also feasting on the giant worm with her family. She looked kinda cute if you think a 7 foot tall mole is cute...

'Hmm... If I remember correctly moles don't usually go too deep from the surface... So that means that we are probably right below the ground on top.'

With renewed vigor I used external mana control on my front paws and began digging on one of the walls. Since it was impossible for me to dig straight up I had to painstakingly take my time to dig away the dirt and stones while slowly going upwards.

After about 2 hours or so I had learned the [Dig] skill which made my digging progress quicker. Mini was curious with what I was doing and copied me, which was a great help since she was a way better digger than me with her claws.

After about another 2 hours or so I was seriously exhausted and I was kinda running low on mana(At least i managed to gain some stats in strength and stamina). It didn't seem like I was making any progress at all. By my estimation I think I was about 6 feet higher from my starting point. I was about to give up when suddenly Mini removed a large stone out of the way and light shined through. (well... kinda cause we were in a large canyon and it was pretty dark. but with my [night vision] it certainly helped)

I was so ecstatic to be above ground again that I went up and began to kinda hug Mini somehow with my feline body.

She seemed to like that feeling and she began licking and sniffing me with her nose and grunted. I tried to get off of her but she kept on nudging me with her head which was pretty cute to do that again and I rubbed my head on her face and 'hugged' her again.

I decided to rest a little ways back because I was tired and I didn't want to go against any potential predators. She snuggled up next to me for warmth and I drifted off to sleep.

Day 36

When I woke up something in the walls caught my eye. It was some sort of shiny brown stone that was sticking out.

I used [Identify] on it and it said that it was an earth stone. I wondered if it was like the darkness stone that I accidentally ate, so I ate it.

*ding*

I was still perplexed because I didn't know what affinity was for so I just ignored it for now. After much pushing I eventually got her to dig again and I was at the surface. I said my goodbyes to her and nudged her to go back to her parents. She looked kinda sad and looked like she wanted to follow me but she wouldn't come out from the ground. Well.. .she's a mole so I guess moles like to stay underground.

I was walking around the darkness there was nothing really worth noting except that there were a lot of rocks.

Suddenly the ground began to shake violently and I thought it was a worm but the trembling became louder and harsher. Then I realized that something or somethings were running towards me a great speed.

Luckily for me there was a small ledge that I was able to reach by jumping by putting more mana into my hind legs. It was a tight fit but I made it just in time for the monsters to run past me.

I say monsters but they were gorillas. Giant fucking gorillas. A troop of giant fucking gorillas. A whole bunch of fucking king kongs.

Their thundering footsteps shook the ground. Suddenly the king kong in the front stopped and began sniffing the air. I began having a cold sweat go down my back. The alpha gorilla looked around and abruptly turned its head towards me.

It began shrieking in its gorilla language.... and I knew i was screwed.
