Day 8

Today when I woke up I felt some of my teeth start to grow in.

Today mother left the cave and told us to stay here.

We just played around. We wrestled and did play fighting pretending to be strong hunters. I did an experiment. I tried running back and forth from the cave and my siblings thought it was a game and so they followed along and began to chase me.

After about 20 minutes or so I was pooped and decided to rest. Today I got...

Mother came back at around mid afternoon as I saw the light outside. She came back with something in her mouth and threw them at us.

It was four live rabbits. But what surprised me was that these rabbits had horns.

"Kill it."-Mother

The rabbits were too frightened to do anything in the presence of my mother.

I was the first to go up to mine and put my mouth to it's throat and crushed it's neck with my jaws as blood dribbled down my mouth. My other siblings followed my example and did the same.

I was pretty hungry and quickly devoured my rabbit. Strangely raw rabbit didn't taste too bad.

I know it was cruel killing a rabbit but I was going to kill things later on to survive so it didn't really matter to me.

*ding*

Level up

Woah... looks like I can level up also. I wonder what the max level is.

With a full stomach I went to sleep with questions in my head.

Day 9

Today mother told us that she was going to tell us somethings and so we gathered around her.

"Well aren't you a fast learner. It usually takes about 2 weeks for a cub to get to advanced in our language. Status is used for checking your growth. Your status shows you your level and what skills you have."-Mother

"What are levels for?"-C (my sister)

"Well well well, looks like we have two gifted cubs in this years litter."-Mother

"Anyway levels help you rank up. By ranking up you can evolve into a stronger beast. I'm pretty sure there is an unlimited amount you can rank up but it gets harder every time you do. You can rank up and change the way you look. Your rank ups are determined by your actions. For example if you bathe in your enemies blood your fur might change red."-Mother

"Also this world is separated into levels. No one knows how many levels there are. Each level has a harsher environment and stronger beasts that could possibly prey on you. But it can help you level up faster which in turn makes you rank up faster. So the stronger beasts you kill the more experience you will receive."-Mother

"I have personally only been able to reach up to the 19th level. Your father says he reached the 23rd. Also there are many of our species that you might meet during your travels after you leave me.

After you turn 3 months old I will leave you to fend for yourselves. You can follow me but I will not take care of you. Once every two years is mating season where we meet in the mountains of Tyr. The males fight for supremacy to show off to the males that they are strong and the females choose and they mate. Usually the male leaves after impregnating the female.

Sigh... you father was magnificent... *ahem* anyway you may meet members of our species throughout your travels before you settle down. You may fight with them for a territory or maybe a mate but usually you should just ignore each other. Also never ever intrude on a female while she is pregnant or is taking care of cubs because she will fight you to the death.

There are many beasts you will meet. But be especially wary of the two legs and their pointy sticks. There are many two legs green ones, fat ones, short ones, pointy ear ones and the normal ones. I personally think that the normal and pointy ear ones taste the best.

They are very dangerous when there are more than 20 of them, but once you grow into adult size in about 5 months you should be able to kill at least 10 of them with ease.

We are currently in the 3rd level of this world because I came here to give birth. I usually live around in the 15th level. I probably could have gone higher but I was not interested in traveling anymore and decided to settle down. You are my 3rd litter with my mate.

Once you turn 3 months old I will take you to the Mountains of Tyr where our mating grounds are and then I will leave you."-Mother

"Mother what level are you?"-C (sister)

"I am level 89 and I am in my 3rd rank."-Mother

"How long do we live?"-Me

"You live longer the higher the rank you are so I do not know. Most of our kind die in battle."-Mother

Mother fed us more of her milk and we went to sleep.
