Morning came, and the castle maids came to wake me up. After I got out of bed, they began stripping me down and preparing a bath for me. They washed every nook and cranny on my body. After they finished, they dried me with wind magic.
Afterward, they started dressing me in my princely attire. I remained incredibly calm on the outside, but on the inside, I was screaming. To have many females look at and touch your naked body was very embarrassing. However, I had gotten used to it over the years.
They began to walk me out of my room and into the 'study room' as I decided to call it. While I call a study room, it's just a room for the maids to watch us while we learn about history, calculating numbers, and proper etiquette for royalty to follow. I already completely mastered all of these lessons due to the 'quick learner' skill I acquired. However it's mostly due to my immense genius.
I have learned numerous things since coming to this world. First off, this world seems to have a similar calendar and time system as Earth. Though the novel mentioned this, it never went too in-depth on these things, which is surprising when you consider how many chapters it has.
Secondly, when you do a specific thing for long enough, be it a motion or anything else, you will receive a corresponding skill. You will be able to get notifications about learning your skills. However, you are not able to check these skills. Thankfully, I acquired another skill while studying called 'enhanced memory. I can memorize all my skills until I visit an appraiser to tell me my stats.
I cannot focus on physical abilities just yet since my body is that of a simple 4-year-old. This brings me to the final thing I have learned.
Currently, it is the year 5485, around four years after the protagonist was born. The royal family has a total of eight children as of right now. There are five princes including myself and two princesses. However, another princess will be born in around four years. Father and mother truly get around.
According to the novel, the king and queen will have five more children in the late future. How the fuck does one even have that many children. I've never even gotten a girlfriend, meanwhile, this father of mine is pumping out children like the baby boom.
Putting that aside, the ones that are already born are what I will focus on now. The crown prince is Karl Knightford. He should currently be seventeen years old and attending Knightford Academy. He is a hard worker and studies diligently to become the next king. He rarely visits the castle due to having chosen to live in the Academy dorms. Around this time, he should have started dating Veronica Goldenwind, the daughter of Duke Goldenwind.
The second prince, Jacob Knightford, is less than a year younger than Karl. Unlike his older brother, he prefers to party and drink instead of worrying about his studies. He acts like a delinquent at the Academy, fooling around without caring. He has no interest in becoming king and wants to enjoy life. Despite his attitude towards politics, he still cares for his family.
The third prince, Leon Knightford, is three years younger than the second prince. Although he was young, he managed to complete the entrance exams for the Academy with top marks. This allowed him to enter the school where his two other siblings resided. He wasn't especially talented when it came to physical capabilities. However, his true talent lies within his mind. He was incredibly gifted when learning and adapting to many situations. He was such a prodigy that he obtained the skill 'insight' at five years old.
The fourth prince was Casey Knightford. He was born seven years after the third prince with his twin sister Cassandra. Around now, he should be about six years old with Cassandra. Unlike his twin sister, Casey is very hot-headed and has a short temper when it comes to annoying situations. He was the most gifted with the sword among the royal family. However, he could never properly utilize his talents effectively due to his rashness.
The first princess, Christina Knightford, is the oldest child of the king and queen. She is currently twenty-three years old. She was now traveling the world as an adventurer with her party. She was strong. She was able to climb up to the position of S-rank adventurer within a month. The novel didn't mention her too often. She was just a wanderer of the continent until she died on a mission. If possible, I would like to save her. Unfortunately, I haven't the faintest idea on her whereabouts. Thankfully her death is in the distant future, so I have time.
And finally, the third princess, being six years younger than me, Alice Knightford. Alice was a tsundere character in the novel, wearing her long silver hair in pigtails. She was one of the main characters in Rebirth and a love interest for Aaron. Her death in the novel is one of the main reasons for the king's betrayal and Aaron's loss of emotions. Therefore, after saving Stella, I will begin preparations for preventing certain disastrous events in the novel. I shall start with Alice.

"Psst, hey Raine, do you know the answer to this question?"
"Hmm?"
I look over to my right to find a boy with brown hair and dual colored eyes asking me a question. Ah, it was Casey, how sad. To ask a four-year-old for answers. Aside from being hot-headed, Casey was also an idiot for studying.
"Fine, let's see," I sigh.
"Thanks, bro!"
"Mhmm," I took his worksheet and found the problem he was struggling with. What year did the Demon King declare war on humanity? What. Was he stuck on this one?
"Umm, you know this was on the first page of our textbooks, right?"
I stared at him with a puzzled face. Casey, Cassandra, and I were all given a textbook to study through for our worksheets. The answer to this question should be around the beginning of the book.
"Ahh yeah, about that. It's really hard and I'm not really into reading."
"..."
I shouldn't be as surprised as I am, he was like this even in the novels. Still, what kind of idiot doesn't even read through the first few pages of his textbook? Did Cass take all the brain cells during their time in the womb?
Maybe Casey noticed my disappointed look, so he looked down and said, "I can just ask Cass if you don't want to help."
At his words, Cassandra, who was sitting beside Casey buried herself deeper into her book to feign ignorance.
"No, it's fine. The answer is 4990." I answered.
"Oh, thanks!"
His demeanor immediately changed as he happily took the worksheet from me. He was smiling as he marked down the answers. I guess I can't fault him for being like this. He is still only six.
I guess I can help him with his work to pass the time. I already finished all my work a while ago anyway.
I leaned over and said, "Here, let me help you with the rest."
"Really? Thanks a bunch, bro!"
"It's fine."
Time flew by as I helped Casey and went through his work. When I say help, it was more of me just telling him how to do the problems. He got nearly all of his answers wrong on his first try.
This won't do. If this continues, he'll be the same idiot from the novels. He'll go on to drop out of the Academy and die a reckless death as an adventurer.
He's not essential to the "happy ending" that I'm looking to create, but still…
Wait, I should think about this. He was essentially useless in the novel. Will helping him even be worth my time? It would be a huge waste if he still ended up stupid.
I shake off those silly thoughts and turn to him, "Hey, I'll help you study from now on so you can answer these more easily."
"Huh? Study?"
"Yes, study. As in reading through textbooks and practicing problems."
His face showed a mix of shock and discomfort. I immediately continued speaking before he could say anything,
"At your current level, you couldn't even dream of graduating from the Academy."
"B-Bu…"
"What would mother and father think if one of their children failed to graduate from their Academy?"
His lips closed tightly at my words. He may only be seven, but he still feared disappointing his father.
"Of course, this all depends on whether or not you put in the effort that you put in. If you don't want to study, I won't force you."
"..."
"But, do keep in mind that it's your future at stake here. You should do everything possible to secure a good future, especially if you have the means."
He didn't utter a single word while I was speaking. Perhaps my words are too much for a six-year-old to comprehend? As I thought that, he turned to me with a determined expression.
"If you can help me get smarter, I'll do it!"
"Great, then we'll start tomorrow."
I was honestly surprised. Perhaps this is because Casey's bad habits haven't fully developed. He agreed to study. Back in the novel, he would never put effort into school. Whenever anyone tried to help him, he would brush them off. It was very fortunate that I reincarnated when I was.
I got up from the desk. Casey looked at me with a confused expression and I put my finger on my lips. He nodded as if he understood. It wouldn't be good if he decided to say something to the maids. I then crouched down underneath the desk. The maids weren't looking over, so they shouldn't have known what was happening.
As soon as I was sure I was out of their sight, I closed my eyes and began to picture the library entrance. I couldn't teleport directly inside the library because of a magic barrier set. One day, I will be able to teleport directly inside the library, I'm sure of that.
I started visiting the entrance. The long halls leading up to it. The torches along the walls of the hallway always seem to be lit. The large wooden door opened up to a room filled to the brim with shelves and books.
Sparks started coming from my body and I began to feel my energy draining away. Casey stared at me with his mouth hanging open. I paid no attention to it and continued. I felt a slight shock in my body. When I opened my eyes, I was in front of the library.
"Alright, let's get started"
As I said that, I opened the door and walked in.
