Chapter 7: Gold Experience
Act 2: Heal The World
Sonic appears in a white void that has a floor that mirrors everything above it. As he stands up, his wounds heal themselves.
Sonic: Where's this?
Super: Welcome to the prison in which I preside.
Sonic: Where are you?
Super: I left my physical form long ago. But, you have been collecting me, in a sense.
Sonic: Ah. So, you're the Chaos Emeralds?
Super: I predate them. My name is not important, but you may call me “Super.”
Sonic: I bet the Master Emerald has one of you too.
Super: You could say that. Now, you have the right to use my power as you see fit. However, I will leave you once your time is up. Do you require time to decide what your wish will be for?
Sonic: Well... I don't know. I gotta get the Master Emerald back to Knuckles. Gotta make sure Tails is okay. Gotta shut down Robuttnik's bases. How could I choose just one of 'em?
Super: I have a simple solution. I can allow you to use my power to accomplish all that you desire.
Sonic: But, I don't know how to use it.
Super: Then, allow me to take control of you only for these actions you wish to have done. I shall do not what you would not have me do.
Sonic: … Okay. Can we shake on it?
The void creates a hand from a cloud and Sonic shakes it.
Sonic: Heh. Groovy.
Back in the real world, Sonic's body glows with a golden light and aura as he's suddenly a bit taller with a far more mature facial structure.
Super Sonic: Strength Embodied
Super: Greetings, Eggman.
Ivo: You're not Sonic.
Super: So, you noticed?

Ivo: What am I speaking to?
Super: Your eventual doom. You are a lucky man, Ivo. This boy somehow does not wish to kill you, despite all you've done. However, he will grow up one day. That is the day you will surely die by his hands, for I have given him a strength that is far greater than you could possibly imagine.
Ivo: Then, I'll have to create something capable of destroying even you.
Super smirks.
Super: Good luck with that, doctor.
Super teleports to the Master Emerald, which is in a large machine that's next to several power generators. He touches the Emerald and teleports both himself and it to the alter on Angel Island and the landmass stops its shaking. As he sees the Tornado-Alpha in the air, he teleports up to it and catches the plane.
Tails: W-Whoa.
Super teleports himself, the plane, and Tails to the green hills beyond the empire and Tails gets out of the plane.
Tails: Thank you, sir. Who are you?
Super: A good friend. Now, if you don't mind, I've got an empire to destroy.
Super flies up and blasts off towards the empire. As the drone swarms come towards him, Super just flies through the robots as they explode all around him. As he reaches the center of the empire, Super crashes into an advanced communications array, destroying it. As robots fall all around him, Super targets all energy producing machines in the empire and destroys them with golden lasers. Once he's done and the lights in the empire go dark, Super teleports back to Tails, who has his mouth wide open.
Super: Two more facilities to go.
As he teleports away, the Freedom Fighters run away from the empire.
Sally: T-Tails?! What in the world was that?
Tails: I d...
Bun: Whatever it was, sure works quick!
Ant: Yez. Let uz hope it iz on our zide.
Tails: I... I think that might've been Sonic.
Bun: Sonic? Darling, don't be too silly now.
Sally: If that was Sonic, that means that he got the other Chaos Emeralds. This could be the day we've been waiting for!
Ant: I would not be getting overly exzited. Robotneek likely 'as a plan to retaliate against zis.
Bun: You think he's planned for even this superhero guy, sugar?
Ant: You neva know when his plotting comes to an end.
Just then, Super teleports to them and slowly transforms back into Sonic as the Chaos Emeralds fly off into the distance.
Sally: Sonic?
Sonic kneels down, picks a rose, stands up, and takes in its delicate aroma. With a smile, he looks at the others.
Sonic: That's one empire taken down!
Fighters: Yeah!!
The others jump up and celebrate as Sally hugs Sonic. As their eyes lock together, so do their lips. Later in the night, as the Freedom Fighters camp in front of a bonfire in the green hills, Sonic and Sally looks up at the stars, some of which are no longer visible.
Sonic: He's still up there in that space-station. But, the city's ours and we're not letting him have it again.
Sally: Because, my boyfriend's strong enough to save the world.
Sonic: You bet I am.
The two smile at each-other as they draw closer together once more.
