The guard cursed as he was snuck up on by a kid. He reached down and pulled out his baton, praying it would scare him away.
The grip got tighter. He was now struggling to keep conscious.
He waved his baton around aimlessly before it found its' way on Mors's arm, he clicked a button. A vicious current spread throughout Mors's arm, making it numb, before it spread through his whole body.
The staff member felt the kid's grip lessen and silently thanked the heavens. Suddenly the grip was back and even stronger than before, squeezing his windpipe causing his face to turn red as he drooled.
He could not believe the strength of this teenage boy, it was inhuman. It threatened to crush his neck. He feared for his life. He tried speaking but he could not, the boy's forearm was pressing too roughly on his adam's apple. He couldn't beg, plea, or reason with this trainee. He felt his grip get even tighter, tears started to flow from the man's face. He started scratching at the boy's arms, digging in his skin and drawing blood however he never lost his grip.
"Mors, you're killing him.." The soldier heard the beastkin say. He was glad he said something, now this Mors kid would realize what he is doing and stop.
"I know. He electrocuted me, I can't let him go anymore...I don't want to have to restart this run." The man fell into despair at the words of the boy.
"But there are more than just him.."
"I'll kill them too."
The man started to regret coming after the golden ticket holders even though the Major said not to. His vision was darkening as he felt strength leaving his body. He didn't want to die. He had a family to take care of. He didn't see his daughter grow up to become a woman and have kids of her own.
He started to notice he couldn't breathe and everything in his vision doubled. "Mors, don't!" He heard the beastkin shout before his vision was abruptly upside-down. The last thing the staff member seen was the horrified expression of a beastkin.
Jasper looked at the corpse and then Mors," What did you just do...?" He asked even though he knew the answer to his own question.
Mors gazed at the deformed body below, "What I had to."

Jasper couldn't believe what he just saw, "You killed him! You actually killed him!"
"Quiet down or I'll kill the girl if you wake her."
Jasper quieted down but mostly because he had nothing else to say to Mors. He killed a man so easily without batting an eye. He clearly has done this before, Jasper felt betrayed and shocked, Mors was a murderer.
Jasper seen that Mors was staring at his hands absent-mindedly, He thought it was because Mors was finally reflecting on what he had just done but in reality it was because of something else.
When Mors snapped the soldier's neck, he had a feeling of nothingness. As weird as it may sound, Mors felt that feeling to be tangible. He willed that feeling to go from his brain and into his arm, it obeyed. A fuzzy, static-like feeling was the best he could describe the feeling as. The 'static' feeling was like what you would see on a TV when it lost signal or when you hit your funny bone. He again willed the feeling to move, but this time the location was his hand. The mass of static became dense as we forced it all into his hand, it started to leak from the pores in his hands. It gave the image as if Mors's hand was smoldering, wisps of smoke flowing from his hand. Jasper sensed something evil within his power and hissed, Mors ignored his antics.
He pressed his 'static hand' against the face of the soldier he just killed and watched as the wisp danced on his corpse as if it was alive. The 'static' began to eat his flesh at an accelerated rate, a sight not for weak-hearted. Mors noticed that the more 'static' he pushed from without his core, the quicker the body would be consumed. In thirty seconds nothing remained of the man, it's as if he was never there.
It did not take long for Mors to erase the rest.
During the process he noticed that he couldn't 'erase' living things. He would have to kill them before his static could devour them. He made a mental note that static does not eat the living, instead, giving them a nasty burn.
After disposing of the bodies. Mors was going to talk to Jasper about what had happened but he noticed Kyren's body twitching in the distance.
When he awoke he glanced around, seeing nothing but sand and an unconscious Livia with a terrified Jasper. He locked eyes with Mors and charged at him with his Bo staff already called from his sub-dimensional space. He was almost instantly intercepted by Jasper.
"Calm down, or you Will die."
"Get the fuck off of me, look at what had happened because of him!" Kyren shouted to Jasper as he glared at Mors. Not noticing the trail of smoke coming from his hand.
"It's not his fault, please, calm yourself." Kyren felt it weird that Jasper was being normal. Usually he had the mind of a child.
He heard Jasper whisper, '...I don't want anyone else to die...."
Kyren raised a brow at that," Anyone else..?"
Jasper looked at the ground before continuing, " Mors had ki--"
"Jasper," Jasper felt Mors place his hand on his shoulder, " Let's focus on what is more important, okay?"
Although he asked, Jasper felt like it was more of a demand.
Kyren placed Livia on his back as he suggested they get moving to which Mors and Jasper agreed.
When they started their run, Mors noticed that he was beginning to not feel right. The heat on his back suddenly doubled and he found himself drinking out of his canteen more frequently than normal. However, he kept running, chalking it up to nothing serious as he once again lead the others.
