It's the year 2099.
My name is Ezie Soprano and I am 98 years old.
Currently I am hooked up to a machine that is prolonging my life.
This procedure usually costs millions of dollars but for veterans that fought in WW3, it's free.
I have been here for as long as I can remember, staring at these four white walls.
I'm sick of it. Very much so.
I regret signing up for this treatment, I no longer have that fire burning in my chest..I wish to rest.
I want this to end.
As if the universe was listening to my thoughts, I feel my breath become less and less frequent. My heart began to de-accelerate. My eyelids grew heavier and the room tempature dropped to freezing.

The previous illuminated room was getting more dim by the second until it was completely dark, I could hear multiple voices of women and men which I assumed were doctors and nurses.
Finally, some inner peace.
I saw the white light like how the bible described. I was confused because as a soldier that fought in the war against the terrorist forces, I took many lives of men, women, and children. Innocent or not. I spared none.
However, I was already prepared for Hell.
This white light...If i traverse it...
I fear what lies in wait for me.
Floating in this endless void suits someone like me better than whatever the Gods have in store for me. I pull away from the light.
I'm scared to face my judgement.
A force attempts to push me towards the light but I resist with all my willpower.
I do not wish to be forced to do anything anymore. I want to remain non-existent forever, no worries, no responsibilities, nothing.
Just me, and me alone. I've had enough.
However, the force had other plans. It pushes me out despite my protests and I was met with more bright lights.\
My chances of a care-free existence were thrown out the window and I was instantly filled with dread when I heard a husky voice say,
"Congratulations, It's a boy!"
