Mors was in a state of limbo. His surroundings seemed to disappear as his static engulfed him. The strangest thing to Mors is how he still had the ability to see, his sight was filled with black and grey bubbly-like shapes that were floating around almost infinitely. His sight also inverted the colors he saw to a certain degree, but he could somewhat makeout the objects. For example, the sand changed from its' original color to a dull green, the sky changed from its dark color to a bright white with a black moon sitting high, and last but not least were the people. He no longer seen skin color or body types, all he could see were those same bubbly-shaped spheres hardly condensed in the outline of a person.
Mors could view the condition of his Mana Core in this state, he seen a web-like crack on it, allowing his static to leak out uncontrollably. He paid it no mind, he figured he'd tweak with it under the eyes of a professional. Right now he did not know what he wanted to do, His thoughts were all fading away and felt as if this all was a dream. His state of mind felt intoxicated as he let his conciousness go; only for it to come back not even a moment sooner. His head ached in pain as he remembered the Major asking him could he still fight. He recalled that he confirmed but deep down he knew he could not go on any longer, he already reached his limit, no, he felt as if he went beyond his limit. His body felt like it was breaking down and re-constructing itself with each passing second. While Mors was busy inspecting the damage his static was doing to himself, he noticed he was being rushed by an outline of condensed particles. From the height of the outline, Mors could tell that it was Kyren.
Mors watched in amazement as his static started autonomously absorbing the particles around him, it was like his static served as a vacuum. Once the particles came in contact with Mors, the particles would accelerate to an unbelievable speed, it looked as if it was stationary but Mors could tell that it was just rotating really, really, really quickly. Mors noticed that after touching the particles with his static, he would gain complete dominion over its' movements. He could will them to rotate clock-wise or counter clock-wise, how as quick as he wanted, while moving them wherever he wanted.
Kyren tried to approach Mors but was intercepted by a dense cloud of static, He swiped his staff with enough force to behead a fully-mature horse in an attempt to disperse the rancid mist. The lightning that appeared occasionally had striked at Kyren's face but he swiftly dodged. The attack then changed course and headed straight to Jasper, who was saved by Luceria who had a shield that was conjured from her void. Kyren grit his teeth as he attempted to take a step back and call out his most powerful weapon. However, Mors's static did not allow him to retreat. Tendrils of reinforced particles emerged from the mist and slithered around Kyren's limbs, he winced in pain as he felt a burning sensation in areas where the tendrils held. He then attempted to use his brute force to break free but to no avail, the tendrils never budged. Kyren started to lose focus as panic began to creep in. Mors inched the monk closer while Kyren was drowning in despair and fear at the sight of Mors's face. Kyren deemed this as the perfect time to use his final move.
Offering a portion of his lifespan, Kyren activated a forbidden technique that he learned in secret. His final move, Shaolin's Immolation, would ignite himself in a scorching flame that could burn away all impurties and evil known to man. Kyren's body began to glow with an orange-hue and blinded everyone in the vicinty who had eyes. Mors rotated his tendrils and caused Kyren's limbs to explode off, his Shaolin Immolation stopped. Kyren screamed and wailed as the pain was too much to bare. Mors willed his mist to swallow Kyren and the tendrils combined into one big mouth with sharp edges and rushed into the amputee. Kyren's final screams were heard throughout the desert, no one said a thing at the sight they just witnessed, the deafening patter of the rain against the sand. Not even his bones remained.
Luceria called upon more than half of the mana in her core to conjure a suit of armor and a weapon. She noticed how the mist violently thrashed around Mors as if it were alive so she approached cautiously, "Mors...please listen. I do not want to fight with you, I only want to help." She said as she inched closer yet kept her hand near the hilt of her katana, ready to strike.

Luceria covered her ears and shut her eyes tightly in agony because of the frequency of Mors's voice. He sounded nothing close to human.
"You're over-exerting your core. If you don't stop this soon then you'll lose your ability for magic or worse, you'll die."

Luceria shook her head, "These two are under my protection, I can't let yo--"

Mors cut her off as his tendrils began to impale her staff members from the ground up. Their bodies being drained of their insides as Mors commanded his static to feed, he didn't bother consuming them whole, leaving their empty flesh bags to hit the floor disrespectfully. When Luceria saw what Mors was doing she had realized she made a mistake in her analyzing, Mors's magic was something completely different, his power is something much more sinister. She grit her teeth in rage and performed a diagonal slash faster than the eye could see but couldn't penetrate Mors's defense. That attack should have at least bruised him but since it failed, she had an idea of taking Jasper and Livia and running away.
Mors commanded his static to merge with the sand around him and it complied, granting Mors the ability to freely control the sand near him. He rotated the sand under him clock-wise and it created a sandstorm with Mors in the center. He reinforced the sand with his static which gave the sand a metallic color as it spun around wildly.
Luceria didn't just wait around, she instructed Livia and Jasper to flee while she hold Mors off for as long as she could. She tapped the katana at her waist and it hummed with an ominous melody. She took the blade out from its scabbard and stabbed herself, when she retracted the blade it was now a blood-shot red instead of its' previous purple-hue. Her armor seemed to be getting absorbed by the sword and after it was finished, whenever Luceria would just slightly move her sword it would make a ringing sound, as if it was slicing the air in half. Mors saw the two retreating while leaving Luceria behind, he shot a reinforced spike of sand at the back of Livia but it was cut in half by Luceria, "Your opponent is me." She glared at Mors.
"F̷͚̺̹̆͠o̴̧̧̡̻̯̯͇͗͂́̃́̚ő̴̼̪̘̜̿͌̈͐̃́͠͝l̸͍̥̒̓̇̍̓̌̐́̓͒i̶͕̯̻̼͈̝̍̂̌̔̋̎͜͜š̸̨͙̱͎̼̗̝̤͚͓͂͆̂h̷̳̙̖̞̤͠.̶̡̧̢̡͔̻̲̞̬̱͐̉̇͝" He replied as he shot another spike but it was twice the size as the previous one. Luceria again, cut the spike in half but this time once it was cut it re-attached itself.
Luceria's eyes widened and she called for them to duck. Jasper's enhanced hearing picked up the warning sooner than Livia as he tucked his knees and hit the ground, Livia turned around to see what was happening but was greeted with a spike piercing her chest cavity. She stared down at the wound in shock, not feeling the pain. Mors squeezed his left hand as a signal that he wanted half of the particles to rotate counter-clockwise while maintaining the clock-wise counterpart. This action caused the spike to remain stationary yet in motion, something that defied physics. Livia howled in anguish as the spike remained in her chest, it now felt as if someone was slowly but surely grinding her insides to small pieces. Mors grew tired of her wails and squeezed his left hand with all of his might, popping the joints in his finger's out of place, and made the spike condense to the point it imploded. A shower of blood was all that remained of Livia's top half, her bottom half slowly walking around for a few seconds before it toppled over in the sand.
Jasper seen this and prostrated himself while apologizing non-stop. Luceria however, promised Jasper that she would not let him die. That filled Jasper with little hope but Luceria was only saying that because she would need someone to testify against Mors if they do make it out of this. If Jasper died, then the blame would be shifted on Luceria because of her inability to protect those who are under her. Luceria decided to no longer hold anything back and prepared to use all of the mana in her core, a black mist leaked from her pores and clouded her person. She had similarities to Mors appearance but she had glowing red orbs that replaced her eyes while clouded within her void mist. The mist continued to leak and then gathered into her weapon, causing it to double in size. Mors couldn't see what was going on but he seen a lot of particles wisping around the Major and figured something was up.
Mors stuck out his palm and a sphere the size of a coin appeared, it floated two inches above his palm and began to rotate. Luceria also prepared an attack of her own, she got low to the floor and placed her hand on the hilt of her unsheathed void katana. She closed her eyes and emptied her mind, her blade began to resonate with her heartbeat. Mors fingers on his right hand began to break as he willed the sphere to spin even faster than what he previously did before, causing this sphere to reach new speeds. He coughed globs of blood but still he continued, the sphere began to devour any and everything in its' vicinity. Luceria decided now was the time to strike and so she did, her katana easily cut through his mist but could not seem to get close to his sphere. She poured more and more strength into her attack but it seems as they were in a stalemate. Eventually she felt her arms grow numb but she persevered, willing her void to numb the excruciating pain of her arm breaking.
Jasper gazed in horror as their two attacks collided, creating a powerful shockwave that sent him flying a few hundred yards back. Jasper heard the sound of glass breaking and another shockwave rung out through the area. When he looked back up he seen the two nowhere to be found, and that the rain had finally passed.
