Chapter 5: The Legendary Wanderer

Arlen rubbed his nose with a big smile.

"Not really, I just want to be the next person to reach the last planet and Starless Region."

Nolan was slightly surprised and then smiled.

"Different from decades ago, those words have now developed into a bold wish because numerous very strong, powerful, and dangerous parties out there also want to go there while expanding their territory."

The man in the cloak looks curious.

"Do you also have the desire to go there, Nolan?"

Nolan smiled.

"Of course, any amount of power will be meaningless if you can't get there."

Arlen nodded and appeared to agree with that.

After some time of walking, they arrived outside the park roundabout and then crossed the highway, passing by several classic-looking cars and carriages pulled by rhino-like creatures. They walked on the sidewalk here and turned into a wide pedestrian walkway paved with flat stones. They walked in this crowded pedestrian alley while looking at the atmosphere of the classical buildings around them. The man in the cloak looks curious.

"Speaking of the starless region and the last planet, does anyone know what kind of place are they?"

This question also attracted the attention of others who did not know the answer. Nolan replied.

"I also don't know much except general knowledge about it. The last planet is said to be the outermost planet in the universe, near the starless region which is said to be at the edge of the universe and holds some of its mysteries. Only the Legendary Wanderer has ever made it there."

Arlen's expression turned curious.

"Looking back, that was an incredibly faraway journey, and would not have been discovered if it weren't because of the Legendary Wanderer who discovered an ancient artifact so that distant intergalactic journeys could be made."

Grimor nodded.

"No one ever knows what the full story of the Legendary Wanderer is. He suddenly stopped continuing his universe journey, having shared the secret of how to make that journey."

For some reason, Nolan and Rothur were a little surprised. Rothur looked sad, while Nolan smiled to hide his sadness.

Not long after, they arrived in front of a three-level classic luxury building. The first floor has a row of wide rectangular glass' that shows the situation inside the building, a luxurious restaurant with a lively atmosphere. Nolan halted his steps in front of this restaurant, causing the others to be slightly surprised and also halt their steps. Nolan smiled.

"Okay, this is where we're going."

Nolan walked in through the wooden double doors with see-through glass frames. Inside the restaurant, a luxurious and lively atmosphere is immediately felt, with shiny floors decorated with thick carpets in many parts and a long right angle-shaped bar where people drink together while chatting casually. There are several groups of luxuriously carved shiny brown wooden tables with tablecloths and four chairs facing each other. The food served also looks luxurious, and they eat using cutlery of knives, forks, spoons, and stemware glasses filled with colorful drinks. The restaurant has a high, ornately carved ceiling joining two levels with an open hallway surrounding it and some chandeliers that adorn the atmosphere of this place.

In the middle of this magnificent building is an open garden with a row of double door entrances with wide translucent glass frames and long translucent glass walls framed with classic glossy brown wood so that the beautiful view of the garden can be seen clearly. This garden is decorated with flowers and unique plants of various colors, along with a beautifully carved fountain in the middle, and seats are provided for people here who sit and chat while carrying their dishes and drinks.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Seeing the arrival of several unusual parties immediately caught the attention of many diners, who looked surprised. A humanoid race man from Wervas planet wearing a neat waiter uniform immediately approached Nolan.

"Welcome Mr. Nolan, I have been waiting for your arrival. Let me take you to the place you ordered."

Said the waiter in a friendly tone while inviting Nolan to follow him.

They walked towards the stairs and went up. They arrived at the third floor of the restaurant; before them was a hallway with a beautifully carved ceiling and a carpeted floor connecting several rooms rented out specifically for private use. They walked into one of the rooms with tall double doors made of beautifully carved gray wood. The waiter opened the door for them, and they arrived in a fairly large room with a wide carved wooden table in the middle with a rotatable centerpiece, classic glossy brown wood, long sofa-like chairs on both sides of the room, and rows of high double doors with framed translucent glass that opened and led to an outside balcony which had two long couches, and a view of the front of the restaurant. Except for Nolan, the others were looking around them enthusiastically. Nolan leaned his longsword against the wall; they then sat on the chairs at the dining table here. Nolan said.

"You guys can order anything, it's on me."

They were all shocked to hear that. They opened a menu book displaying various kinds of luxurious dishes of various sizes and high prices. Grimor's expression turned astonished.

"The prices of the foods on this menu are exorbitant, and if you order a large portion, the prices are incredible."

Rothur also read his menu book with a surprised expression. Arlen looked more enthusiastic.

"Is it true that I can order anything Nolan?"

Nolan smiled as he drank the drink the waitress had just poured on him.

"Of course, you all don't have to be reluctant."

The others looked at each other and then gulped. The three of them quickly ordered whatever caught their eye.

Sometime later. The sky outside the restaurant has darkened, and the beautiful atmosphere of the city is now decorated with lights all over the city. Their wide dining table was filled with mountains of dish, mostly meat, and bread resembling dishes on earth, as well as drinks from various available bottles and large glasses. They were enthusiastically and cheerfully eating the food in front of them while also drinking the drinks in their large glasses, except for Nolan, who seemed to be eating his food normally, and the man in the cloak opened his cloak mask and ate with enthusiasm and gusto, from a perspective that didn't show his face. While still eating, Arlen glanced at Nolan.

"You're so rich Nolan."

Nolan smiled.

"Thank you for the compliment, let's talk about the purpose of our meeting this time."

While still not stopping to eat, the others nodded.

"As you guys know, I invited you here to make an offer for us to form an alliance. You can join the alliance that I have built or we will form a new one. What do you think?"

Without hesitation, the man in the cloak answered.

"I agree, as for what form of cooperation, I leave it to Grimor."

He said, then immediately resumed eating again. Arlen replied.

"I also agree, I entrust Grimor to determine how the alliance work."

Rothur propped his chin up for a moment in thought.

"Of course, I agree. I also agree with the captain's suggestion to entrust how the form of this alliance to Grimor."

Rothur and Arlen looked at each other, smiling and giving a thumbs up. Grimor watched them with a deadpan expression, then looked at Nolan with a smile.

"I certainly agree, but I propose that we form a new alliance, so that the alliances each of us that we have formed can still continue to run separately if necessary, and make it easier if there are new parties who already have alliances to join."

Nolan smiled and nodded.

"Good idea, I also agree with that."

The others looked at Nolan with a smile and stopped their eating activities. Nolan raised his glass.

"Let's toast for this historic day."

The others also raised their glasses, and they then toasted together. Rothur appeared to have remembered something, and his expression showed that he was slightly bothered by something for some reason.

"I have something to ask Nolan."

Nolan looked at Rothur with a slightly surprised expression; he then smiled.

"Of course, Rothur. I thought you weren't going to talk to me."

Rothur replied.

"Of all the potential alliances in the universe, why did you choose us?"

The others were looked slightly surprised and curious about it. Nolan smiled.

"The Endless space pirate and the Black Cloak organization have a reputation that fills me with admiration. Even if you haven't reached your highest point yet, of course I also appraise your potential."

Grimor smiled.

"Thank you for trusting us, Nolan."

Nolan smiled and nodded. The man in the cloak thought.

"I'm really lucky to have an alliance with Nolan, this will make my goals easier..."
