Nolan nodded.
“Alright then, let’s discuss our territory list later. Next question, let’s say you guys already had territory list. Do we should manage these territories together, or keep it separate between us?”
Arlen’s expression turned confused.
“I don’t really understand, but I believe in Grimor’s opinion.”
Rothur nodded.
“As vice-captain, I agree with Arlen’s suggestion.”
Arlen and Rothur looked at each other with a thumbs up and smiled. Grimor looked at the two with a deadpan expression and then looked at Nolan.
“For matters like that, I’ll just entrust Nolan until we really understand how to manage it, because this means we will also get special authority for your territories, Nolan.”
The others appeared to agree. Nolan smiled and nodded.
“Alright, next is the territories’ management that we obtained with the cooperation of S.E.A. Should we just appoint one trusted person for each territory?”
Others appeared to agree. Nolan continued speaking.
“Okay, next is….”
Nolan had not finished speaking; his words were stopped because warning sirens suddenly sounded all over the Ark-001 city.
The sirens startled Nolan and the others, as did the citizens in this city, who then quickened their pace. Nolan, Arlen, Grimor, Rothur, and the cloaked man's touchscreen cell phones rang, and they then turned it on. They got emergency voice messages on their cellphones with a female voice.
"There has been an attack; the city’s residents, please take shelter in the place provided."
This message also sounded on the cell phones of all the city residents who opened it, making everyone panic and begin to jostle in several directions. Nolan then got another call and immediately answered it. A man’s voice sounded on his cell phone.
“There was a sudden attack from Dzyranth’s and Titan’s side on the battlecarrier starship number 54 captain.”
Nolan’s expression turned to shock.
“Hold on, I’ll be right there.”
Nolan ended the call and turned to Rothur and the other. Nolan’s expression turned serious.
“There has been an attack from both Dzyranth’s and Titan’s side; I’ll be going first.”
Rothur and the others were surprised to hear that. Nolan hurriedly walked away, followed by the other.
Arriving at the common room, Nolan was greeted by some of the servants who looked anxious about what was happening. Nolan said.
“You all, immediately evacuate from here.”
The servants nodded. Nolan walked away from here with accelerated steps; Arlen, Grimor, Rothur, and the cloaked man quickly followed. As they walked, they talked to each other. Arlen’s expression turned serious.
“Let us help Nolan.”
Nolan was surprised.
“Thanks, your help is very much needed.”
Arlen nodded. Grimor’s expression turned astonished.
“How can Dzyranth and Titan attack at the same time?”
Nolan looked doubtful.
“I don’t know the details either, but fortunately, it was a battlecarrier that didn’t have a city inside it, but second priority action must be taken immediately before the damage is extensive. We’re going to the hangar room to board the plane there.”
The others nodded and agreed. Rothur’s expression turned astonished.
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
“Second priority?”
Nolan nodded.
“Yes, top priority, of course, the citizens.”
Rothur was surprised; his expression then turned awkward.
“You're right, Nolan.”
Nolan smiled.
They ran towards the elevator and entered it. Nolan pressed one of the control panel’s buttons, and the elevator door closed and went up. They arrived at this skyscraper's rooftop, which has several pole towers. Nolan ran towards another elevator in the middle of this rooftop, and the others followed him. Nolan entered this spacious elevator, followed by the others. The elevator door closed, and the elevator began hovering and moving up, surprising the others. The elevator continued to hover up towards a huge metal double sliding door on the city's ceiling that started to open as the elevator flew through it.
They arrived in the middle of a large hall made of metal with a corridor leading to the commander’s room, a corridor leading to the hangar, and other corridors. As soon as Nolan walked out of the elevator, several crew were waiting for his arrival and then walked to him. They all together walked at a quick pace toward the hangar while talking to each other. Nolan said.
“How is the situation?”
A male humanoid race in an overcoat uniform with armor on the knees, elbows, front part of the legs, and back; he had maroon skin with horns and belonged to Swordman’s space pirate crew, with Nolan as the captain.
“There have been no fatalities yet, but the damage continues to expand.”
Nolan’s expression turned serious.
“Dzyranth and Titan attacking at the same time?”
The crew looked doubtful.
“That’s right, they’re in a state of attacking each other and might have coincidentally met near our fleets.”
Nolan’s expression turned serious.
“Put all battlecarrier starships and fighter starplanes into attack mode and formations.”
The crew nodded.
“I understand, captain.”
They arrived before the double metal doors leading to the hangar, which slid open to the right and left as Nolan approached it.
After passing through the door, they arrived at a vast hangar crowded with countless crews from various races, helping each other to get on the numerous fighter starplanes parked here. Many fighter starplanes began to hover up vertically and then flew out of the battlecarrier starship hangar through the huge metal sliding double doors exit that slid open up and down. They arrived at one of the personnel carrier fighter starplanes that resembled an armored flying wing, with two maroon-skinned crew members wearing overcoat uniforms.
“Welcome captain, please come in.”
They all entered the plane through the wide-ascent stairs bridge behind the plane, which then lifted and closed to become the rear door of the plane.
The two crew members immediately sat in the pilot’s seat, and the others stood behind them, holding on to the handrails around them or on the ceiling. The two pilots immediately started the engine, pressed a button, pulled or pushed a lever on the metal dashboard in front of them, and prepared the starplane for flight. This personnel carrier fighter starplane takes off vertically, then flies through the battlecarrier exit door.
Their personnel starplane flew toward the back of the fleet, past the battlecarrier starships around them, as well as their fighter starplanes. Nolan said.
“Scout team, please report.”
Soon, a male voice was sounded on their plane communication device.
“This is the scout one leader. We just arrived and saw….”
The voice of the scout team leader fell silent for some reason, then spoke again in a shocked tone.
“What’s that? Monsters? Please be careful, captain. The enemy is using an unusual weapon.”
Hearing that made Nolan and the others' expressions on the plane turned astonished. Nolan replied.
“Can you describe how unusual the weapon you mean?”
The scout pilot answered.
“Those monsters... I mean, that weapon looks like... wait a minute, it moves very fast to....”
The communication line was suddenly cut off, leaving only static noise. Nolan was surprised.
“Scout team, can you hear me? Please respond.”
But there was no answer, making their expressions turn astonished. Rothur said.
“How strange, monsters he says? What does it mean?”
Nolan’s expression turned serious; he then appeared to realize something.
“There’s only one way to find out.”
Nolan looked at the pilots before him.
“Pilots, please be alert. Our enemies might be very dangerous.”
One of the pilots replied.
“Understood, captain.”
The pilots then flew this personnel plane with more vigilance.
Sometime later, they arrived at their destination, battlecarrier starship number 54. This battlecarrier has a shape resembling a massive armored flying wing and an overall size similar to Nolan’s main battlecarrier. At the top of the right side of Battlecarrier number 54, there is a destroyed part with shattered pieces from the fuselage and armor floating around the damaged part because it is still affected by the battlecarrier’s artificial gravity leaking out on the damaged part. This battlecarrier is at the outer potition of this fleet. Nolan looked around and found no enemies presence. Nolan’s expression turned serious.
“Battlecarrier 54, can you hear me?”
From the Nolan’s plane’s communication line, a woman’s voice, one of the battlecarrier starship number 54’s crew, was heard.
“Very clear, captain.”
Nolan replied.
“How was the damage to your ship.”
Battlecarrier 54’s crew answered.
“The damage is still not that bad, captain. But we lost the visual on the enemies.”
Everyone's expressions on Nolan’s starplane turn shocked. Nolan replied.
“Visual lost? Can you describe what the enemies you mean look like?”
Battlecarrier 54’s crew answered.
“One is confirmed as a Titan Gear, while the other is unknown.”
Nolan was shocked to hear that, and the others watched him in surprise. Nolan sat in the commander’s chair in the middle and operated the button on the arm of his chair, and then a translucent blue screen moved from the lower right of the chair and moved in front of Nolan. Nolan operated the touchscreen computer before him and opened the information broadcast channel.
“To the entire fleet, anyone who sees enemies' visuals, please report immediately.”
Soon, a female voice was heard on this plane communication line.
“This is battlecarrier number 70; we have visuals on the enemies.”
