Limp Questions and Unrelated Answers

To touch repetitively on topics: this is the essence of daily life. The reprisals of concepts are the themes of our lives, melodies and beats that contour to events, but respond less and less to them the longer we live...that such a theme has entered life is ominous indeed, but the longer one tries to persist in this rusty way, the more evident repetition becomes. So, the once-again arrival of a mere drop of drawing and the reprisal of repetition, speculation as topic: welcome!

This is the heady path of today,

well-trodden be it may.

It might also be noted that when no drawing is provided for a day in this log, drawing is indeed done–gaps in days are (merely?) gaps of writing. Perhaps an explanation for these dark spots in the record, gaps which are missing teeth in the author's shaky grin, will be provided some day. But rest assured the grin of the illustrator is lacking no teeth–although few could say the teeth are well maintained. For example, take a look at the oral x-ray of two days ago.

I am no dentist but I detect decay! Everybody, please brush your teeth.

The day-to-day melody of repetition, in a way it is beautiful. Concepts and ideas compound across days, weeks and months. Lines of reasoning may submerge for years and emerge for a single striking moment only before returning underwater. "Goodbye! In a decade we'll meet again." Not only the aesthetic value, thoughts passing like seasons and meeting again like long-ago companions, but the capacity to form ideas over such periods allows for far greater depth then a fleeting memory might. It is characteristic for people to retain thoughts and ideas for long periods of time–a statement so self-evident it did not need stating. So when do ideas decay? Perhaps 'submersion' is not so complete as put above: a guiding periscope could quite often peep above water even as the thought proper lay beneath. If we look for their trail...

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Mechanisms aside, repetition can be an excellent quality of thoughts. The worry is that repetition grows and grows until it becomes total: already it feels the same bears down time and again, and bursts of brilliant new rapidly fade and their repetition is rare event. If we only repeat the same forms each day, how can that be called living? Sleepwalking through life is a path to death–unless, perhaps, it is a good dream. That may be the crux of the aging mind, who can say? For on the opposite end of the spectrum, novelty is not the end all be all. "Everything in moderation," as it goes.

Perhaps if these teeth were brushed twice a day? Let's not talk about flossing. It must be confronted, however, that there has been a lack of focus in this drawing. Whatever strikes fancy, done quickly and without great . Is this a lull in the tide or a new standard being set? My interest in the Evangelion character designs has waned and yet another question rises in response: what is moderation and what is poverty?–Is drawing clear divisions between the two a moderate act? In such 'puzzles' one can see that meaning does not belong to words.

Rescinding words as form of reason, I am left with no compass for guidance on Evangelion. The marathon will be run blindly. Body-sense alone (proprioception if you like) tells me the pace is slacking dangerously. As for telling direction, I imagine people rarely learn to sense their body well enough to tell when they waver.
