Today, more basic geometric heads: when the complexity of form is peeled back, the fundamental inadequacies are laid bare. The ability to draw a circle and drawing with one's arm: I struggle with these most elementary things and so, will sojourn for some time in the basic geometric. Sometimes falling behind is the quickest way ahead, although the speed of progress is only a function of meaning: ideally one should move at the most meaningful pace and pace itself would go unheeded. But who can say what the most meaningful pace is? As we learn nonlinearly, progress is more a dance than a marathon. I cannot dance and I am blinder than a bat, but I believe some time with the geometric is in order.

People have predilections. On a basic level we have been geared or gear ourselves towards some things more than others. The question, then: are these inclinations changeable? Could a mathematical genius transition into an artistic one? Within the mind are many doors and paths. If we return to the basic building blocks of the mind, strip away the accrual of thought-patterns and tools, perhaps one could. A journey to redefine mental reality...it is evocative and sometimes appealing. In a way it is growing older, too: the collapse of the mind's architecture as a new one, less readily defined as architecture, takes its place.
