As we are approaching the space station Aldion informed me of the procedures we will have to go through. We also needed an I.D. chip, which we obviously didn't have. He also told me that most people in the Federation had an I.D. chip in their body somewhere. He also told me that Erendial has made contact with the residents of this galaxy and has made its presence known in some way. It apparently interfaced with their tech and dubbed them worthy of its assistance. That assistance was given in the form of a 'system' that could analyze their body and work and help them advance them both. It also helped them get a proper count of the population and helped scientists with the problem of fraud. It had helped them in a lot of ways.
Eventually we had to request help from Elswen to get an I.D. telling her that I'm an orphan that was separated from my guardian while traveling through a Sub-Space. Part of the back story was that they were paranoid about the A.I. and the I.D. chips and believed in quite a few conspiracies. Thus I wasn't in the system of identity and had no actual info of my background. I am a blank slate. She had no choice but to believe some of it when there really was literally zero data available to the system about me. Eventually we docked at the station to get me an I.D. chip, I had to register a name, Alom Andis Noctis, and my physical features. After that I then got my I.D. chip implanted in my right wrist.
After that Elswen turned the slave traders into the space station for imprisonment. They apparently had a bounty on all of them and she got some money for bringing them in. She then gave me half of the money for disabling their ships and letting her take them. Their bounties were pretty hefty. I asked her why and she told me that they were notorious slave traders. After that she asked me if I wanted to have a meal with her. I agreed.
After she led me to a nice little restaurant in the station we sat down and ordered. "It seems that our time journey together has come to an end." She said. As we talked over the months she decided to talk with a more friendly tone. "I have to admit talking with you has been quite entertaining. It also allowed me to talk about my culture and experiences. You are also decently wise for your appearance."
"Appearances can be deceiving. Also it's not like we can't ever talk to each other. You can contact me any time. Mostly. Also wisdom is not found in just age, it is found in experience." I said spouting something that sounded wise to me. The voices in my head were screaming at me that I had just missed my chance. I told them to shut their horny mouths. I swear these personalities of mine can get really out of hand.
"You're right about that. So, what will you do now? I assume you have some plan."
"I was going to some mercenary work, maybe some cargo shipping, hell I might just see if I can join an organization. Who knows, there are many possible choices for me. Enough about me, what are you going to do." I said as our food arrived. I was having something called a steak with some fries and a drink named Root Beer.(root beer is the best)
"Alom I barely know anything about. All you have shared is your practicality, nonexistent background and incredible curiosity of the culture of my people. You haven't even explained how your apparent guardian managed to keep any record of you from showing. Nor how your ship is so advanced. My ship isn't that impressive and a little outdated, but could still put up a fight against anything of the same size or smaller. So tell me, how did you come across that ship of yours? It definitely isn't anything that the 3 cores developed, nor is anything produced by an independent contractor."
"All I can say is that I just found myself on it with no idea on how I got there." She looked like she didn't believe me. "Hey don't look at me like that, it's the truth. I just woke up on it and it just worked. There is nothing else to say. After waking up I started to head to the closest Galactic government that was on the navigation systems. Then I met you and you know the rest." I technically wasn't lying. She looked at me with a scrutinizing glance until she let up. I could tell that she didn't fully believe me, who would believe that a random person found an advanced ship in the middle of nowhere.

"Fine. I'll believe you for now." I'm a little surprised at how quickly she relented. It must have shown on my face. "Look there's nothing I can do if you don't want to say anything. A little advice though, you're lucky to have met me. Anyone else and they would have tried to hijack your ship. People have killed and done worse for less."
"You don't need to tell me that, I know just how desperate a person can get if they can't get what they want. Plus no one else can fly that ship but me. I'm decently sure that anyone that tries without my permission will either die or get immobilized depending on the situation."
"Are you sure about that?"
"I'm more than sure. I'm certain."
"I see then. Well let's go shopping then. You can seem pretty naive at times and I feel like you don't know how to pay for something, so before I go on another job I can show you." She said as we got to the end of our meal. She decided to pay for it.
While we walked around the shopping district of the station I saw a store that sold system lenses. Pointing it out we headed over. Once we entered the shop an assistant approached us.
"Welcome, how may I help you today." A, what I presumed to be, human said. They looked nearly exactly the same as an Humanis, but after looking at them and seeing what their biology includes, were inferior in every way.
"What can you tell me about these system lenses of yours." I said.
"Well sir, these lenses of ours let you directly interface with the System. Using a chip put behind your ear, that reads you brain waves to help connect to the System, that connects to the lenses it allows you to view and interact with the System."
"How efficient is it and how is it powered?" These didn't appear that efficient or safe. I am probably going to buy one then improve or make my own version of it.
"They are the most efficient of their kind sir. The chip gets its power from the ambient electricity made from the brain to power both it and the lenses." That could be quite dangerous.
"Ok then I'll buy some then." I now wanted to quickly get to work. I also wanted to see the system that Erendial made for these people. Apparently it's personalised for every individual.
"Of course sir." After that I quickly bought it and after a bit of walking around left Elswen to her own devices and went back to work on making my own lenses. These lenses were incredibly cheap and made that way so that almost everyone could get access to the System.
After spending a few hours analysing the chip and lenses I then got to work. It took me a while and quite a bit of assistance from my previous lives/voices in my head. After finishing it and having Aldion program it with the same security that he had I put the chip on. My new design only needed the chip and instead fed off the ambient UE that I produced and directly connected to the brain or neural center. Should I ever decide to sell my own chips they would be incredibly popular for the people for a variety of reasons.
I then put it on and turned it on. Immediately a screen showed up in front of me with the Omegian native writing on it.(the writing is obviously in English for us but just know that he sees his native language)
