1019 AD, 10th Month of 12, Capital City of Heiankyō, Japan, Planet Sky
Three months had passed and the both of them had left Aokigahara a few hours ago. Uehara and Chizuki were currently in a small village ninety kilometres away from the capital. They were taking their time to walk and were not in a rush to reach the capital.
Both were wearing simple black cloaks with collars that hid half of their face and straw hats, giving them a mysterious appearance. After entering the village, it was a simple matter to book an inn. Although the villagers were slightly surprised by the appearance of them, it was only exactly that, slightly.
But there would always be some exceptions. No one failed to notice Chizuki’s shapely figure. The cloak she was wearing was rendered useless when certain parts of it were filled out. Her voice nearly caused all the males to lose their minds when they heard her speak to the inn-keeper. Even her saying something as mundane as booking a room caused them to feel hot all over.
Uehara noticed all of this and wished he could kill them all but he held himself back. Chizuki quickly booked the room after noticing her master’s veiled killing intent.
[Master still hates humans as always.]
It was already night and when Chizuki and Uehara were in the inn room, Chizuki was in a light gown while Uehara was hovering over the ground with his eyes closed in a meditative position. Chizuki knew this was a result of him trying to suppress his hunger for blood.
Since three years ago when he stopped feeding on her, there would be moments where his eyes would unconsciously turn red and he would gaze at her before vanishing to hunt another chakra beast. Unfortunately, it got worse overtime and it got even worse when he had tasted her blood during their spar three months ago. It marked the point where he couldn’t even go back to devouring beast-blood anymore and so he had no choice but to always meditate to suppress his desire for blood.
Chizuki had tried time and time again to give him her blood but he would always say ‘not yet’ to her offers. She knew it was because of her training.
[But since I completed it, it should be fine, right?]
Plucking up her courage, she got up from the bed and walked over to Uehara. She removed her hair and exposed her beautiful tender nape.
“Master. I know you said not yet but I can’t continue watching you like this. You can use me to feed now, master .”
Uehara’s eyes glowed red as he looked at that patch of exposed white skin.
“Are you absolutely sure?”
Chizuki’s face became flushed when she saw how he was looking at him with restrained, but ravenous hunger and desire.
“Y-yes master. My body has completely stabilised after opening the second path and achieving sage transformation.”
His canines grew. Since she was offering, he wouldn’t hold himself back anymore.

“So be it.”
Without giving her time to react, he hooked onto her and bit her neck, sinking his teeth into one of her arteries. Instantly, Uehara’s grip on her body tightened. He couldn’t hold himself back at all. His instincts had completely taken over. After having gone so long without tasting her blood, it can be considered as a severely dehydrated man finding nature’s best spring water. With Chizuki having opened the second path and having gotten immensely stronger, the quality of her blood had risen even higher.
It was truly impossible for Uehara to control himself. As her blood entered his system, his grip tightened. He didn’t even notice how Chizuki’s moans were filling the entire room. This continued for nearly half an hour. When her blood was starting to thin out, Chizuki spoke weakly.
“Master~”
Uehara’s bloodshot eyes shot open. He hesitantly released his grip from Chizuki and appeared a few metres from her.
“Damnit woman.”
It was his first time losing control of his emotions and stoic appearance. His crimson red eyes were full of desire for her blood again, making Chizuki blush like a teenager.
“Never, ever, give your blood to anyone else. Do you understand?”
She lowered her head.
“Yes, master.”
Meanwhile, her eyes brightened up and a smile formed on her face.
[For you, I’ll make sure not even a mosquito can get my blood.]
However, Uehara’s thought process was completely different.
[Her blood is too potent. I almost lost my self-control there. Even if a normal human drank it, half a litre can extend their lifespan by five years.]
His eyes reverted back to normal. With his hunger partially satiated, he felt like an immense burden had been removed from his shoulders.
“Get some sleep. I’ll watch over you.”
“Yes master.”
Chizuki went back inside the blanket and closed her eyes. She didn’t bother letting her guard up like always since Uehara promised to watch over her. In the meantime, Uehara morphed into his infant dragon form and laid down next to Chizuki on the space she had left open.
Curling up next to her, his tail wrapped possessively around her waist. The night went by uneventfully. Except for a few corpses rotting underground, nothing much happened. When Chizuki woke up the next morning, she found Uehara in his humanoid form staring right into her eyes.
Shyness creeped in as she turned her head to the side.
“A-are you hungry again, master?”
His mouth twitched a bit at her question but he got straight to the point.
“Your beauty is annoying.”
“???”
Her brain shut down.
“I never expected so many males would desire your body. So I killed them.”
He turned to look at her but he noticed she wasn’t listening to him at all.
[Master said I’m beautiful. Master said I’m beautiful. Master said I’m beautiful. Hehehehe~]
He hovered directly in front of her face, looking at her with evident confusion on his face.
“Chizuki.”
“H-huh?!
“What’s wrong with you? It’s unlike you to zone out like this.”
She turned her flushed face to the side in embarrassment.
“I…it won’t happen again.”
Uehara looked at her for a long time.
“If you’re aroused, you’re welcome to find a way or someone to alleviate your stress.”
“W-what?”
“However. You are not allowed to marry or settle down to lead a mediocre life. You are my attendant. You will always follow me.”
She was completely unresponsive this time. Uehara didn’t bother with her anymore.
“Next time, wear a veil or something similar, or else I may have to dispose of every male we come across.”
Looking at her still silent, he poked her forehead, burning it slightly. She immediately came back to reality.
“Ouch!”
“Pack your things and let’s go. I don’t want to stay around humans any longer than I have to.”
“Y-yes master.”
When Uehara vanished, she panicked.
“I’m such an idiot! I can’t believe I embarrassed myself like this in front of master!”
She threw herself onto the bed and hid her face with a pillow.
“Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!”
After throwing a mini-tantrum of self-berate for a few minutes, she calmed down and sat upright on the bed.
[Master said he doesn’t mind if I find someone to satisfy my desires but, doesn’t he realise that after spending so much time with him, those other men became useless. Even the daimyo is nothing in front of master.]
She pouted.
“Stupid master. You can’t show me how great you are and then expect me to go back to a life of mediocrity.”
A spark of determination lit up in her eyes. After thinking about how Uehara would begin to grow into his teenage phase in eighty-one years, a bold idea came in her mind.
“So be it. Once you cross your first growth stage, I refuse to believe you won’t need a woman then and I’ll make sure I become your number one option.”
