It’s really fun having all the answers to your questions and not revealing a bunch of crucial facts till it comes up in the story.

Domain of the God’s - Meeting room
*Bang* “Amare! there is no way you can defend that monster now.” (Pladius)
“...Annoying.” (Val)
“Ugh...V-Val.” (Pladius)
“*Smirk* took the words right out of my mouth Val.” (Amare)
Silence...silence is what permeated the room after Pladius was criticized and mocked by both Val and Amare. Val closed her eyes as she waited for the remaining gods to take their seats. Pladius himself took his seat with visual shock and anger on his face, as Selerius entered with forlorn steps.
“Good...Um, everyone is here...Selerius, do you need a moment to-” (Carn)
“I’m fine.” (Selerius)
“Well then, first order of business. What is the status of the remaining chosen.” (Cosmian)
“Ah, they have all reached Korgoth City except for Nexu’s chosen Kuro.” (Carn)
At the mention of Kuro, a not so subtle tension rose in the air. Kronum could no longer stay quiet and asked the question on everyone’s mind, everyone except for Amare.
“What the hell did that brat do?” (Kronum)
“Hmm, whatever do you mean?” (Amare)
“He means, how the hell did that monster create something capable of wiping out a city. Not even just that, TO CHANGE THE PROPERTIES OF THE VERY AREA ITSELF IS-”
“A miracle.” (Val)
Everyone grew silent once more hearing Val’s words. Even Amare was quite surprised knowing how little the goddess cares for such topics. When it came to Val, in Amare’s opinion, matters concerning resentment between people don't amount to much. however, the passion in Val’s eyes seem to be hinting at something interesting.
“Val, you seem to know what is happening in the area.” (Amare)
“Kuro created a miracle. The Elementals...can possibly be revived.” (Val)
Val uttered these words with a passion and joy not seen on her for a very long time. Her once impassive face, now showed a woman filled with true happiness, making the male gods blush at the sight. The words ‘Elementals’ and ‘revived’ created also caused a noticeable stir in the room. Everything grew silent enough to hear the sounds of their own minds buzzing with shock.
It’s no secret to the gods about what happened to the Elementals created by Val’s intervention. Valerie Elmentea Naturan The Goddess of Elements and Nature. She is a high god who has been around for as long as Amare, and has been the mother to many well known creations that has benefited countless worlds.
As gods are not allowed to directly interfere with the world of mortals. Her exploits in created the subtle miracles needed to birth beautiful races and natural wonders has astounded many. Yet her greatest miracle was the creation of Elementals. Any world of magic has a natural instability due to the volatile nature of the types of mana present in the world.
It is not uncommon for natural disasters to plague world's countless times to varying degrees of manageable to complete destruction of the world itself. Val often mourned for those who were victims of this misfortune.
During one of her excursions into tampering with a world almost falling into complete instability. She accidentally set of a chain reaction highly similar to the event Kuro caused in Tarthus, except in a vastly larger scale, which resulted in the creation of the Elementals. As one who caused a similar event, how could she mistake what she felt Kuro’s bomb had done.
These beings of various forms, all appeared strange to the goddess. Yet what they did afterwards truly gave her joy. This odd race stabilized the mana on their world of origin. As they grew in number, they began setting off to different worlds with their own strength to stabilize other worlds. This continued on for countless millennium...and yet it all came to an end for the Elemental race.
One particular world with the highest recorded level of mana in all of existence erupted into an extreme state of instability that it’s Elemental residence could not regulate. Elemental’s from across every plane of reality felt it’s growing fluctuations of power and in a single act moved as one to the unstable world. Should the world explode like many before it. Magic in 3/4 of the mortal planes would cease to exist due to the chain reaction that would follow its destruction.

Their abilities were unable to stop it’s growing instability. Yet, they did not flee. This noble race of magic decided to stop the spread of it’s destruction. None tried to run, as they all felt that it wouldn’t matter at this point due to how quickly it would traverse the area. So...they all formed their mightiest barrier together in order to hinder its destructive force.
In one moment, the Elemental race was destroyed. The Goddess Val watched her most cherished creations die in an act of valor. Instead of 3/4 of the magical worlds being destroyed. Only 1/50 of the magical worlds fell to a tragic end, attributed to how powerful they were together.
No matter how much Val tried, the phenomenon that created that noble race wouldn’t reappear. Yet, a mortal had done what she couldn’t. It was definitely not an intended result, but she couldn’t feel any more glad at the possibility of her beloved Elemental’s reviving.
“Val...are you sure that you're not mistaken.” (Beth)
“I’m sure. I would actually like to finish this meeting quickly so I can keep observing the phenomenon.” (Val)
“A-Ah, yes...well then let’s continue.” (Cosmian)
“...Elementals” (Pladius)
The only one not happy with the possible revival of the Elementals...was Pladius. He was so eager to have Amare and her chosen be punished, yet this news prevented any such action.
“...Um, if I may ask...how did Kuro even do that. I wasn’t focused on him during the time of its...birth so to say.” (Carn)
“Ah...how should I say it.” (Amare)
Amare had an impish expression on when she thought about how Kuro forgot an important detail when making his bombs.
“He was using magic to make Deuterium, or what it’s also known as in his previous world ‘Heavy Water’ using the distilling method. After a bit of trouble he used it to make this world's version...of a small scale [Mana Nuke]. Though...he forgot that mana and anything related to it is many times more volatile than the nuclear materials of earth. Even if it was considered small...the results are as you have seen.” (Amare)
“...a nuke....” (Val)
“Even if this will possibly revive the Elementals, we can't ignore the fact of other possibilities. And also how destructive this event is to the surroundings.” (Pladius)
“Agreed, but there is nothing we can do except wait for now.” (Cosmian)
Everyone was silent when they understood how crazy someone would have to be to make such a thing in their own basement of all things. No matter how ‘small scale’ it was intended to be...it was too much.
“...Well, let’s just review the activity of the chosen and end things here…” (Carn)
“Yea...and get some celestial wine for my nerves.” (Cosmian)
When the gods finished their discussion, the meeting came to a close with many mixed feelings. Val dashed out of the room seeming to be skipping in excitement at the possibility of the rebirth of the Elementals. the sight of it being a shock to many who have known her for a while now.
Before Amare could head back to her dwelling, she was stopped by Selerius.
“Nexu, um...I’m sorry.” (Selerius)
“Hmm, I accept. However, may I ask why.” (Amare)
“I’ve been thinking about a lot of things. I still feel hesitant about accepting Kuro, knowing what he was. But it isn’t fair considering the situation, and how negligent I myself has been. So I ask so settle things peacefully. Can we end this stupid feud and just do what we are meant to do?” (Selerius)
“I don't mind, and for the record I really didn’t do anything with your boyfriend during the last gathering. The guy tried to hit on me, like I said during the time. I think the term to label his particular type would be a ‘cheater’.” (Amare)
“*Sigh* I’m not with him anymore anyways. Caught him with that whore Aphrodite.” (Selerius)
“You're too good for him anyways.” (Amare)
“Thanks…” (Selerius)
“Well then, I’ll be off.” (Amare)
With these words spoken, the usually annoying gathering came to a close on a high note for Amare. Now she had one less god to worry about in regards to Kuro’s safety and progression.
“Now then, I wonder how Kuro will react to the latest news I will bring him. Fufu.” (Amare)

A/N: Thus comes the closing of Act 2.
Expect a few interesting things in Act 3. I’ll be spending a bit of time going through my previous chapters for now though.
