I always find it cool when people mention interesting things I can incorporate into my writing. *cough* PrimeOdin *cough*
----------------------------------------
While we went to the dungeon, my group had an unexpected member join us.
Belle apparently refused to be left behind, saying she had every right to join us. Though I felt it was more like she didn’t want to be left there with unfamiliar people, even if we also don't really know each other. I didn’t mind since it was another person capable of carrying loot within the dungeon. Since we usually bring a hand drawn cart to leave outside in a hidden area for larger loads, as we leave and re-enter the place. With her it will take less time.
Her equipment was decent and well taken care of. Most of it would actually be superior to our own equipment if I didn’t enhance them. However they seem to be of standard make, and weren’t made to comfortably fit her like the ones I made. This caused some of her movements to be obstructed slightly. I don't know why this seriously bothered me. But during the trip I would customize her gear to fit better after having her measured by the others.
I also fiddled with her arrows to make them more aerodynamic in shape, while enhancing their properties along with her bow. To be honest The bow itself seems a bit simple when compared to the rest of her equipment. The answer seems to be perverts fault from what she says. I don't really care why or how though. I’ll just make a better bow if I have time, or we may even find one in the dungeon.
So after we reached the dungeon, in record time, we spent the next few days hoarding for all types of materials I need before returning to the city in haste. Though I wish we would have arrived back sooner. Things have gotten pretty chaotic in the short time my group left.
-----------------------------------------
It’s been almost two weeks since the deal with the thieves guild took place. The materials from the dungeon are safely tucked away for me to use when I have time. However, some idiots decided to take action too early in order to get their own revenge against the sects from what I heard. This caused the sects to not only attack each other, but the citizens as well. But in a crazed manner, far beyond our initial expectations.
Seeing the results of their actions, I don’t know whether to simply attribute it to stupidity or impatience at it's worst. If there is a plan, then it's better to follow it. Going against a viable plan in order to feel an earlier sense of short term personal satisfaction is without a doubt stupid. The plan we devised would have left all three sects in chaos if followed correctly. Give or take some margin of error.
It was pretty simple, rather than targeting all three sects. We would thoroughly target only two of the sects with the intent to wound them, while the one that was left alone would become the scapegoat. The ones that were attacked would both be instigated to think the perpetrator was the one left untouched and hopefully attack them together. After that we make use of the confusion and finish off whoevers left with more traps, poison, and explosions.
The most important thing we would do is avoid detection. Them being aware of us would just ruin any chance we have at finishing them off before they can properly retaliate. Since we would be setting up the initial charges, the citizens would be evacuated into safe houses and such to avoid unnecessary casualties.
If and when another group takes over, at the very least it will only be one faction. These three sects have been forcefully taking whatever they pleased from the people, barely leaving enough for the common folk. 80% of my stores customers, were staff and such from those sects. The remaining 20% were the ones using the takeout window to avoid them.
My cheap prices made it possible for people to enjoy something luxurious, for their standards at least. Plus it was also very cheap to make, so there was no real loss in profit. This was pretty much why many of the other stores hated mine. Most of their recipes cost too much to make for them to drop the price without losing significant profit. Though I simply used methods from my old world to enhance flavors and make larger portions from less ingredients. Like making yeast from dried fruits to increase the volume and flavor of bread made when cooked.
Regardless of everything, my store was treated as a sense of relief for people. Now however, the city is in too much chaos from the three way brawl for the store to function. I say three way because the idiots didn't even set off the bomb in a heavily populated location.
The guild leader had a really remorseful face when I returned to this. Due to how my gift was abused, I refused to provide anymore to them. They had the audacity to be dissatisfied, but weren’t able to say anything. The idiots in question were thoroughly punished by the guild for making things so difficult for everyone as well. The few bombs the thieves had left were used on the more heavy handed ‘Centorian Light’ sect in order to abate the constant attacks slightly.
In the end the entire city turned into a war zone with the citizens caught in the middle. It wouldn’t have gotten so bad so quickly
if the very simple plan was followed.

“Bastards, just die! Ugwaah! No! *Stab*” (Burning Cross Sect disciple)
“Hmph, cross trash.” (Centorian Light Sect disciple 1)
“Hahaha, good kill.” (Centorian Light Sect disciple 2)
*Boom!*
“Enemies, quickly guard the rear!” (Centorian Light Sect disciple 3)
“Centorian’s spotted! Kill them!” (Sundered Ground Sect disciple 1)
“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!” (Sundered Ground Sect disciples)
*Clank clank* *Boom* *Death Cries* *Clank*...

I hear the sound of war on the streets outside my shop. Our doors long since closed while we reside in the basement. The girls seem a bit worried, but we still have the emergency exit tunnel I created when we first set up shop. Abra and her son were also safely placed on a cart by the exit itself. I was worried about moving them, but Abra looks to be stirring a bit and may actually wake up any day now, and her son looks around and tries to move more as well.
So far we only had to worry about looters, so things haven't escalated here. Our fortune has been hidden outside the city long before the chaos started. The things we had to do to insure our hygienic needs were also solved with magic. Though these girls have lost all sense of shame around me. Nothing but trouble makers the lot of them.
My group would have left long ago if it weren’t for the constant attacks toward any fleeing party by the sects. The fighting got pushed ahead of my estimated schedule so we ended up in our current predicament. All because of those idiots that I want to spend some quality time with and teach proper patience.
This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
“You know, I used to wish I was part of those sects. With all their luxuries and such. Seeing them now though…” (Tammy)
“It’s like watching a bunch of children having a pissing match.” (Beth)
“As long as we aren't involved, I don't really care about them. What I want to know is, what are we going to do now?” (Belle)
“I’ve been working on a few things...after we set them up, we can blast our way out of the city. Using the explosions as cover while we move to avoid detection.” (Kuro)
I was impressed by how everyone tried to get a handle on the situation. The only real concern we had was our location being besieged by those rambunctious sects. Since we were all stuck here we had to ration our supplies, but a few covert operations and we were able to handle it.
“Brother...what is that?” (Illis)
“Hmm? Ah, I was about to try and weave a new material I’ve been working on.” (Kuro)
Since I had time, I’ve been working on my projects before I had to abandon my equipment. I’ve already made many bombs and grenades, everyone fully taught how to properly handle them. All that was left to do, was do some experiments while we wait for the sects to destroy each other. Unfortunately, we also had to listen to countless people screaming for mercy.
Even the slaves who can't fight back weren’t spared. Making me wonder why these guys have gone so far off the deep end.
I myself had to fight a few of those disciples when I was getting supplies. Those fighting arts put their attacks on a whole new level from what I’m used to. I barely managed to defeat them using my unknown weapons. Fighting them outright right now would only be suicide, even Amare agreed with my assessment. Unless I get my own fighting arts...nothing can be done for them.
One thing is for certain, those sects are insane.
However in order to calm my nerves, I focused on trying to make spandex. There are many things I want to make with the stuff but first I got to make the stuff. I have the components but none of the equipment to process it like in my old world.
Hmm...since I got time, I’ll just use my mana to process it. Similar to how I remove slave collars, I probe the components and will them to form into my intended results. After a few hours of continuous probing and such...I think I made the biggest breakthrough I’ll ever have. My focus fully switched to the screen in front of my eyes with extreme fervor.
Congratulations!

Oh My God.
This is the answer to so many of my problems and more. I can create so many things with enough time and effort with this skill. With the possibility of also having class options in a few months as well...such a great surprise. The anger that was smoldering in my heart was greatly abated with this news.
Combining this skill with my synthesis skill will allow me to make items told in legends. My enemies will tremble at the sight of a mere grenade. *Gasp* that's right I can increase the purity of my bombs with this.
“Kuro...you look a bit scary right now.” (Tammy)
“Y-Yea.” (Shirley)
“Did something happen.” (Puerial)
“A-Ah, no I just discovered something amazing that can really help us.” (Kuro)
“Is it another secret?” (Shiro)
Ah come to think of it Shiro has been really trying her best to keep the others from talking about my secrets. Well they are more things I don't like talking about, but I liked the effort. Everyone seems to be curious of my new discovery...meh, they will find out eventually. Also if they start blabbering about this to others...I’ll make their punishments extra long.
*Shiver* (Everyone)
“Why do I feel like Kuro just thought of something scary.” (Beth)
“Yea.” (Tammy)
“...” (everyone else)
“Well, I’ll tell you guys if you keep it a secret. It’s pretty serious.” (Kuro)
Everyone put on an even more curious face at my words as they looked at each other.
“I figured out how to transmute things like an {Alchemist} from the old stories.”
“...” (Everyone)
“As expected of Kuro.” (Shiro)
“Kuro...do you realize how serious this is. This can never leave this room.” (Beth)
“Absolutely never.” (Tammy)
“Yea.” (Illis, Shirley, and Puerial)
Everyone suddenly became highly serious and looked toward Belle. This change in atmosphere was actually a bit shocking to me when I think of their usual behavior.
“What? I didn’t hear anything.” (Belle)
Everyone nodded and smiled at Belle’s remark. She has made some real progress integrating into the group. Beth has also taken a liking to teasing her. As long as it isn’t me, I have no problem with it.
But this skill...with it I may be able to change our current situation right now. Let’s see how long these trash sects can keep causing trouble with what I have in store for them.

A/N: Sorry for the delay.
What do you think those class and sub-classes are?
Also thanks for the ratings...it means a lot =)
