I tell Auntie that I have to run some errands today and that I'll be home later tonight. I need to find out what happened last night. At this point I understand, that stone was the resurrection stone. I think the darkness used its power to temporarily take over my body.
But now that I can't find the darkness in my mind I am curious as to where it went. I first head to Daigon Alley and then apparate to the Forest of Bowland.
Stepping into the barrier my eyes widen. There are hundreds of dementors working hard at creating the fortress and tower I envisioned. The dementors all seem to be far larger than they used to, they now range from six to eleven feet tall.
I stand tall and shift into my dementor form, I now notice I stand around twenty feet tall. It is a stark difference from my old 13ish foot self from a day ago. But that is not what garners my attention.
Instead, I find myself focused on my soul, the darkness seems to have wrapped itself around it. I also cannot feel the anger and raw emotions I felt from it before.
I determine I will need to do something about that later as it is not something I can deal with right now. I shift my focus to the half-complete fortress and nearly thousand-foot tower.
'PROTA' My voice reaches out, it is still dead but has a tinge of emotion.
From near the peak of the tower, a particularly large dementor flies towards me. He stops a few feet in front of me and lowers his head.
'What is your wish, my Lord?'
I am surprised at the range of Prota's vocabulary but I don't show it, 'When did all this start?' I ask calmly.
'You ordered us to begin construction on 'Darkness Falls' last night after you summoned us.'
My eye twitches internally, 'How did you grow so large?'
Prota raises his head at my question, 'It was your gift to us, my liege.'
If he could show it I'm sure confusion would be on his face, 'You may continue your work, but return to your post as soon as you have finished your overseeing.' I say dismissing him with a hand.
'Yes my liege,' without turning back Prota quickly flies off back toward the tower.
'How did the darkness know what I wanted to name the fortress?' I ask myself before dismissing it. The darkness lived inside my head, of course, it knows what I wanted to name it.
I shift back into my human form as I slowly walk through the fortress being created around me. The dementors seem far more intelligent than before, they are creating the outer walls at the perfect distance from the barrier.
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
The around kilometer area is covered by an outer wall, two inner walls, and a tower. There is also a gate at the end with a road leading to it. They have even placed the foundation for the five buildings I have thought up so far:
The Potioneering building
The Arcane repository
A barracks
A workshop
And an infirmary.
'Is the darkness actually evil?' I ask myself seeing my dream being created in front of me. I would prefer it be a good entity since it currently resides around my soul.
Walking into the innermost wall I see the foundation for two large buildings. The mansions I planned for Lucius and Belladonna. I lift myself to the highest built wall and look around the area/
'I will need to extend the barrier and make another wall,' I think to myself sitting on the edge.
If I take in all those I am thinking as my servants then I will need more space. But that is something for later, since I am already out I can use this time to go and enchant my servant's coins.
Standing up and pulling out my wand I apparate to the front gate of the Malfoy Mansion. I wave my arm and the gates slowly swing open. Charms were indeed worth learning, this feels quite nice.
As I take my first few steps in Dobby appears in front of me with a tired look, "Welcome Lord Black… You have come to see the master?"
I'm surprised at Dobby's lack of lip but nod nonetheless, "I am."
Dobby nods as he turns around, "Follow Dobby."
Walking into the mansion I see Lucius coming down the large double stairs, "What do I owe the pleasure to, Lord Black?"
I'm again surprised at how Lucius addresses me, "Narcissa is not here?"
He shakes his head, "Out with friends."
I nod, "Good… Your Seeker Coin, present it."
Lucius seems taken aback but reaches into his jacket and pulls out the coin. He slowly steps forward as he puts out his hand with the coin in it.
"Gloves Off," I say
With his teeth, he pulls one glove off then the other.
Putting out my hand, "Give me your other hand."
Like a confused dog, he puts his hand on mine with a baffled face. I flip over his hand and cut it using my wand. He flinches a bit but doesn't pull away.
"Blood of the servant," I speak slowly as I drip his blood on the coin.
I then use the wand to cut my own hand and drip my blood on it, "The blood of the master."
Pointing my wand at the coin I chant, "Celare conmissum aeternum."
Blinding black light floods the room causing Lucius to flinch. As the light fades Lucius looks at me with questioning eyes while holding his bleeding hand.
"What is…. This?" He asks tapping his head unable to say the words.
I smirk seeing it works, "It is the location of my building project. If you need somewhere to flee, or things go south, it is where you will go. You will only be able to know its location while holding the coin, so don't lose it."
"I am having a home for each of my servants built in the area. This way your family also has somewhere to go. Speaking of families, have you heard of any of the families that fled the country?"
Lucius sighs as he pulls out his wand and starts healing his hand, "I believe they have moved somewhere in Austria or Sweden. I can't know for sure as Karkaroff is doing well at erasing all travel records."
I shrug, "I suppose it's best that they aren't here, how are your businesses? The ministry has been getting quite aggressive with those raids."
"Hmmm, Without your warning it might have been bad but I managed to move my 'merchandise' before anything was found. I have gotten rid of most of my artifacts as you ordered."
"That is good, I will be going, I still have to do the enchantment on The Progenitor's coin. I expect updates on the situation."
Lucius bows his head low, "Yes, Lord Reaper."
Without another glance, I apparate away.
