Tomorrow.
Dressed all in black, I went to the cemetery where some people from the church had gathered.
A pastor invited me to pray for the dead, so I was here with a clear purpose and a clear motive. It's very convenient for me because I have a good position, a priest who I once helped unexpectedly became my helper.
This event, although simple, has clear potential. Moreover, my current position is still surrounded by danger. There is a lot of gray fog that is difficult to pass through. I can't waste the opportunity that comes my way so I have enough meat shields protecting me even if I don't pay them, or rather the knights who have set this target, it might be useful to protect me from danger, Johan's face is already recognized by them all it makes the enemy can't move just like that, his steps become quite limited.
People then gathered, they seemed to be knights who wanted to pray for a colleague who had died at my hands.
And from the voices that came into my ears, I got a lot of information.
"There are about 6 victims. A woman was burned, four people died with their stomachs perforated and one knight lost part of his head."
"Who was the madman who did that?"
"I don't know, but according to eyewitnesses, the culprit is from the Death order."
"Humph, those guys again. Is this some kind of ritual for their sect? The longer we leave it, the more dangerous the situation will become."
People continued to talk about what they knew. They didn't seem to know, privacy and military secrets were very important to keep secret.
But that was good, because now I knew that Johan was probably from an organization called the Death order.
An organization that has a hidden agenda or something.
"Maybe we should close the city gates. Yesterday's fire tragedy proves that those dangerous people are now operating around the city."
"Is there no answer from the capital? We've sent so many requests for help before and yet not a single Legion has come here."
"Damn it, dealing with the Death order is not easy, a unit of knights might be destroyed by them if we don't make the wrong decision."
"That's an exaggeration, no matter how powerful the death order is, how could they dare to surrender a city?"
"You don't know what crazy people are thinking, do you? If help doesn't come, that might happen."

As the knights spoke, the priest beside me then approached them.
"Gentlemen, please calm down."
"Oh, I'm sorry priest."
Excessive worry seemed to make the people here panic. Exactly how dangerous was the Death order? Why did the knights take this matter so seriously? Was the organization dangerous enough to destroy a city?
This was definitely serious. I had thought that perhaps it would be better for me to take refuge behind the knights, but seeing how poorly they handled the matter, my only remaining option now was to leave the city.
A place where Death Order and Johan cannot reach. That guy is targeting me right now, so it would be bad if I wasted my remaining time.
.....
On a different day.
I approached Miss Lidya in a warehouse full of wooden boxes.
The transaction to buy animal fur was almost complete, as I was afraid that Johan might keep an eye on the gun shop owner so I asked Miss Lidya to help by giving her some silver coins.
"Here, Miss White. 871 pairs of furs."
"Good."
A hunter then approached us, Lidya immediately passed by me to ask the hunter for a quote.
"Can't it be any cheaper? About 130 copper coins for each fur."
"No, that's already a fair price. By the way, where is the man from yesterday?"
The hunter then looked behind us, but he couldn't find anything.
Worry was evident in his sharp eyes. He was probably afraid that we weren't from the same party as the man who wanted to buy all the furs.
Well, letting suspicion spread would be bad for my business, so let's go along with what these people want.
I quickly patted Lidya's shoulder while giving a small nod.
"No problem."
"Are you sure, miss?"
"Of course, buy everything at a fair price."
"I see."
Lidya then handed him a money bag filled with gold coins. The hunter then looked into the bag and he immediately nodded slowly. After finishing his eyes now looked back at us.
"This way."
The hunter demanded of us, he then ordered his other companion to open the box full of furs.
The fur had been frozen by the snow, but after I touched it with my bare white hands, I could feel a kind of softness in the mammal fur that was designed by nature to survive the cold temperature.
It was wolf fur.
"Good, very good."
I nodded slowly at the results I got. Some of these Feathers seemed to have been taken from a nearby village that had been storing them for about a month, and some were from a recent hunt.
It started to become obvious when the scent of spring flowers entered my nostrils. My short white hair slightly covered my eyes, and I was currently thinking that these hunters deliberately gave off a nice scent so that the pungent smell of blood or mud could be masked.
I was starting to get interested in buying this kind of fragrance. As a woman, my sense of smell keeps forcing me to pamper it with a nice scent. Maybe I should buy a bottle or two? But I have to restrain myself for now, I can't waste any more money before getting a promising profit.
After the hunter and I agreed, we then shook hands.
"Prepare everything in three days. I'll bring it over. Oh yeah, what about the warehouse rental?"
"Miss doesn't need to worry about that, the building rent is free for the first five days."
"Thank you that's very helpful."
The hunter then smiled at me before leaving with the rest of his colleagues.
Exiting the building, I spoke to Lidya who was beside me.
"Lidya, I'll increase your pay, find me a carriage, a job and everything I need to deliver all these furs."
"I'm sorry Miss, I have other things to do."
Lidya refused right after I asked her, it seemed like she started planning the production of the dress design I taught her. Though I only told her the fabric fold tricks and striped patterns similar to the uniform I wore, but fortunately all those designs did not require quality materials like the ones I had.
"Alright, I don't want to force you."
"Thank you for your kindness, Miss."
I still needed Lidya to make regular clothes, so I would solve my own problems without troubling her.
In the bright morning sun, I passed by the snowflakes falling around my white coat, there in the distance was a well-dressed man talking to a group of hunters. From his appearance and the wrinkles on his skin, that man was at least 50 years old or older.
The man was clearly a merchant.
"What is the meaning of this?"
"I'm sorry sir, but all those furs have already been bought by someone."
"What?! Tell me who bought them, will talk to that person."
Seeing that I was in his line of sight, the hunter then pointed at me to tell the merchant.
Before long, the merchant approached while wearing a friendly expression.
"Ah, hmm... can we talk for a moment."
My eyes that always looked serious then blinked. Occasionally I glanced at the hunter, he was just an ordinary 35 year old man without a pretty face, but the fragrant scent coming out of the fragrance he was wearing made me think of something.
I then looked back at the merchant and nodded slowly.
"Hmm. You came at the right time."
