The next day quickly came,
Leaving behind only a naive black rabbit named Coal sleeping like dead deep inside of his own cave.
After he had discovered the strange painting in the box of the new wooden object and temporarily satisfied his rabbit child's curiousity the day before.
Nothing out of the ordinary had happened except that he went to bed a bit earlier than usual.
***
When he woke up. The sky was still dark.
The sun had just peeked a little out of the high mountains, starting to shine the first rays of the day.
Not much light shone on the entrance to his cave and he probably wouldn't be able to see anything ouside.
But he still stuck his head and his long ears out of his cave. Beginning his normal morning rountine.
At first, he sat up on the large earthen stairs he had created a few days ago when he discovered that it was too difficult for him to look outside and be on tiptoe at the same time.
Only a part of him, from the neck up, could be seen from the outside. While everywhere around him, there were a lot of bushes surrounding him without a gap.
He brushed some snow off the ground in front of his eyes and placed the wooden painting which had recently become his food plate down onto the ground.
Putting his hands in the middle of the bushes facing him, he pushed and created a gap just enough for him to comfortably observe the wooden cave in the distance without being detected.
And at the same time placing the food down onto the wooden painting,...plate according to the instruction on it.
Actually it was not a food arrangement guide or any instruction but an meaningful image but...
Haizz. Nevermind.
He started eating while busily pretending to look at the wooden cave.

Only after a while, when the sky was not very bright but still a bit dark.
His mouth stopped moving.

Most of the food on Coal's food plate had gone nowhere. Only a few small vegetables remained, left on the wooden food plate that he hadn't eaten because he was so full.
Rubbing his then big and round belly. He smiled in satisfaction.
But then, he shook his head back and forth when he saw the remaining food on the wooden plate.
Remembering what his mother used to teach him. He picked up the remaining food and began tossing they into his wide opened mouth.
But the food, instead of just peacefully falling right straight down his stomach and dissapearing. Stucking in his throat and choking him, forever.
After that, Coal never ever appeared in the novel again.
His best friend, Stone the Universal who was still patiently waiting for a new mission from his rabbit friend, in the underground cave.
Hearing the bad news. Heartbroken, Stone organized a small funeral for Coal. With the participation of Thin Creature The Sweet Winner.
The end.
...
Well...
Actually, that wasn't the case.
He was lucky that time. Very lucky.
It was because Coal had seen something suddenly moved and emitted light in the direction of the wooden cave which had not yet been touched by the sunlight.
And he instead of dying from food stucking or food choking.
He wretched dragged his big and round belly while hiccuping nonstop. Jumping like a flying squirrel and hiding himself deep inside his cave in case he was detected by the unknown danger.
Javelins? His fearsome, mortal, archenemy?
Even though he still didn't know anything about the approaching danger, his senses were on constant alert. And he still couldn't rule out the possibility.
He always had a fear that one day he would be skewered by the javelin when his tail was first touched by it.
'Today?' Coal thought.
But when Coal was shivering and crying nonstop. Starting reminiscing about the beautiful memories he had in the past and counting down his life.
Nothing happened.
Nothing came near the entrance of the cave or passed through the nearby bushes. There wasn't even a sound except the sound of leaves being blown by the wind, which he always heard of usual.
Moments later, he timidly poked his head out of the underground cave once again.
Only to see the thin creature was busily stuffing something out of the weird container made by the gray and shiny substance he'd seen in the wooden cave, into the box of the new wooden object.
And then, coming back to its wooden cave as if nothing happened.
Leaving behind only a statue in the shape of a rabbit kid, with its mouth wide opened.
But not for food.
***
Coal jumped out of his cave with much more determination than usual.
In his mind, he might be eating the creature alive at the moment.
And it had probably counted thousands of times already.
He had never thought that there would be a day when he would tremble with fear, jumping up and down while begging for his life with a pile of tears just because of such a silly misunderstanding.
It was him crying because the food choked on his throat. Yes, that's for sure...
It was not like he was scared, shivering just because something sparkles in the dark. That's the true...
The only true.
Coal justified himself while walking without stopping.
He angrily approached the new wooden object.
Swearing that he would give the things which
the thin creature stuffed inside of the wooden box at least a bite for everything he had suffered.
But when he opened the box of the wooden object and reached his hand inside to take out the things.
What he took out surprised him.
He found food, drinks that looked and smelled even better than the food he just ate, much better.
And also enough for him to eat comfortably all day.
